I used to go once a month - but it has kinda reduced lately to a couple of times a year as I'd rather use time and resources go to Berlin. I'm looking forward to getting back there tomorrow and see if it is still as good for getting loads.

So, I thought I'd write about this as it was my first experience of a Horse Fair. This horse fair was organised by The Boots, in Antwerp. They seem to have three or four of these throughout the year. If you don't know The Boots, it is quite a nice venue and play space. The basement has a bar and darkrooms with cages, slings and a gyno chair with the stirrups. Next up is the entrance and changing area - with proper douche showers. Up again is the main bar and a smoking room. Next floor up is the play space with many cubicles, maze, holes, slings and a wet area. This space is more enclosed catering to those who prefer private fun. Up a floor is another play space - more SM themed and quite open - less private. The attic is sometimes also open when it is busy and serves as a chill out area. In short it's one of the best play spaces in Europe - not as big as Labotatory in Berlin, but very good nonetheless. OK so as a Mare (of course) I arrived at 3pm and after changing I joined the other mares in the basement. I counted 23 of us in total, and it was a mix of ages shapes and sizes. I would say the clientele was defiantly not 'twinks'. We had about an hour to buy drinks and get ready for the Stallions. Mares were given a yellow wrist tag (like you get as music festivals). I am guessing the stallions - who arrived from 3.30pm - were guided to the main bar upstairs. I know they were given red wristbands. At 4pm the Stablehands came into the basement bar and gave instructions: in dutch, French and English. They showed how to wear the hoods so you cannot see, and explained that anyone caught taking off their hood or peeking would be removed. They explained that if you raised your hand in the air, a Stable hand would come to assist you - this might be to guide you to the bar, the bathroom or to resolve an issue with a stallion. As a mare, you cannot refuse a stallion but you can say stop if you *really* need to. They also handed out red bandanas to indicate that you're okay with bareback. Otherwise the stablehands will check condoms are being used. I should have thought a bit more about what was likely to happen next, as we got the instruction to put our hoods on - and there was something of a mad rush for all the good "spots" in the basement. I hooded up and managed to get a spot on a bench at the side of the room. Not having done this before I was unsure of the protocol and whether you stand, bend over ready or if it was ok to feel around to find and encourage a stallion. Being blinded its adds an extra dimension and any anxiety is amplified tenfold. It was all a bit sudden and I felt a bit out of my depth. Honestly, I couldn't see anything - and with the music pumping - the only sense you have of use is touch. (And maybe smell) So the stallions came down and started to mingle. The atmosphere was highly charged - it is difficult to imagine how heightened it is now knowing what will happen next... The next two hours were exhausting to say the least. Ordinarily I'd write about what happened, but being blindfolded I have absolutely no idea who played with me or what was happening. It was just a two hour haze of probing cocks and utter darkness. The stablehands did a great job keeping everyone in line and making sure the mares didn't remove their hoods. Now being my first time I made two mistakes - number one was not sorting out a 'spot' at the start. Number two was trying to walk/move around the venue. There was a period near the start where not a lot was happening near me, so I decided to try and find another spot - this turned out to be a mistake as I lost my original spot and then couldn't find another. There were a couple of occasions when I detected a brown smell. I had to move away as it puts me off - I was a little surprised that someone would come to a party like this and not be cleaned out properly - especially as there is cleanup facilities in the venue. Accidents can happen, I suppose. So after two hours, the music fades and we are told we can remove the hoods. Part of me didn't want to - but being able to see all of a sudden was a little overwhelming and took a moment to get used to. Thinking about it now, in terms of cocks/loads it wasn't as much quantity as I had expected - I have had better luck on a normal fetish/cruise part at The Boots, but the thing that's unique about this party is the rules, protocol and the atmosphere. There is really nothing like it - it's unbelievably horny - and although I think many guys probably expect the quantity for me it turned out to be the electric atmosphere that made it so special. But it didn't end there - it turned out the barman working the basement bar was an admirer and when the party was over he invited me upstairs to a sling room - it seemed watching the proceedings had made him very horny - and he wanted to continue the fun. Although he was hot, I did find myself wishing I still had my hood on as I missed the anonymous 'cant refuse' aspect. So now I'm back in my AirBNB with various bits sore and aching for all the right reasons... and I'm already planning to go back there for the next party!

+1 for this. I keep a clear line between work and home life and don't let colleagues into my social media. I don't share my personal email or mobile phone number with colleagues. When they used to run the Communion party in London, I really enjoyed it. But I think these events are really dependent on the atmosphere at the venue and the attitude of the clientele. I keep toying with visiting one of the other Cumunion parties - probably one of the northern ones - it's often nice to get out of the southeast/London area for a weekend. I'd be interested in hearing which of the UK Cumunion parties guys have been to and what they think of them. (I prefer a crowd with a mix of ages, shapes and sizes where there's plenty of relaxed versatile play and no attitude. )

@NewBottom90 is right... There is a lot of nonsense going on right now. I think that social media has had the effect of polarising opinions - people surround themselves with people with the same beliefs - which only ever affirms them - then there is no grey area in the middle or sensible debate - you're either for something or against it. "With us or against us". I used to take more of an interest in what's happening - but the past couple of years it feels more and more futile as you can't have a sensible debate about anything. We need something to change and for the time being at least I've unplugged and disengaged from politics and current affairs, especially online and am focusing on enjoying the bits of life I can enjoy. That said, the one thing that worries me for the future is how the venues we enjoy are closing at an alarming rate and are not being replaced. Another five years and I reckon the only place that will have darkrooms and clubs where play occurs will be Berlin - and even that is under pressure (look at Quaelgeist for instance). I'm making the best of these places while they are still around and encourage others to do so.

My local clinic seems to get this fairly frequently. I've had several tests that were indeterminate. My understanding is they look for all four markers to get a positive result. If you have no markers then it's negative. If you have some markers then they need to retest. Once I had three retests in a row before they sent the sample out to an external reference lab for confirmation. The nurse admitted it had been happening quite a lot that month and it seems to go through phases. On talking to the consultant at the clinic, she thought that since I had been unwell with something unrelated, this may have triggered one of the markers. I'm no expert, so it's always best to get advice from your doctor, but if you're on Prep and adhering to the regime, hang in there as the odds are in your favour.

Whether or not it is related, I don't know... but I read that Virgin are migrating their cable modem/routers to a Cloud based management system rather than have built in settings UI that you are in control of. The cynic in me says this is to prevent people working around blocks by changing settings - or even knowing that's what they've done. Their current Hub 3.0 router software prevents changing the DNS servers in the DHCP configuration, which forces you to use modem mode and an external router. I wonder how long that option will survive?

So, I've had a couple of people ask me if I can recommend a free VPN. The answer is that I can't: they have to cover their costs somehow and as far as I can see the only way to do that is to charge money for the service, so to provide a free service they'd have to do something like log your activity and sell that data to cover the costs - thus negating much of the point of using a VPN for privacy. Personally I am not currently using a commercial VPN - I have my own VPN server at home which I use when travelling so I can use UK only services like BBC iPlayer etc while abroad. If and when the block this, I would consider a commercial VPN and the place I'd look for information is the Wikipedia VPN comparison page: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comparison_of_virtual_private_network_services Which one to choose really depends on what's important - speed, level of anonymity, etc. As I've said, I really would avoid free services as you have to ask how they are going to cover their costs, and the only leverage they have is your traffic and trust... +1 for that. I do the same and it does last a decent amount of time. Also crisco works. Sometimes use E45 cream but that doesn't last as long.

I enjoy these kinds oa parties and venues that have darkrooms like this - I don't recognise this venue though. But I must say that filming inside one with a phone (especially using the light!) is totally not cool IMHO.

Last time they threatened me with a shot of antibiotics in the butt, I asked for an alternative - the first time was awful. If you're allergic to penicillin then there are other options which are tablets rather than injection, but it takes a bit longer to work so you have to abstain for longer and have a re-test. The NHS being what it is are pretty reluctant but I get on well with the doctor who runs the clinic and pleaded until she gave in.

This likely dates me quite a bit but when I was a kid there was a big thing for breakdancing.
