(I realize this is a very old request by now, but it seems no one ever answered, and the need for a night like the one you are seeking never ends...) I'm very confident that the hotel being referenced is the Cheshire Motor Inn on Cheshire Bridge Road. (There are probably plenty of references to it on the Atlanta subsection of the Regional Hookup Forums.) I don't think it's quite as nasty and notorious as it used to be -- the area has gentrified, and some of the cruising parking lots nearby are now townhouses -- but the motel remains. If you were to plan a night there which did not turn into a wild time, it's just down the street from the local host of the CumUnion party and other sleazy options. For those of you who have not seen the updated schedule, it changed to ONCE monthly, on the third Friday of each month. The website says that change was made Feb. 2025, so very recently. I haven't been to Club Philly in many years, and only before my... shall we say "less adventurous, more inhibited"... years ended. This is a great resource put together by some selfless person with more time on their hands than I have. The parties that are tried and true, outside of that group of oversaturated events, are: GBU, MaleBox, and Pighaus. CumUnion is usually pretty good, and it should be great on Pride weekend. The fetish-focused parties run by that big conglomerate are exceptions and I think they're safe bets (like Manhole, the fisting party).

East Side Club is the only "bathhouse" option left. The main focus here is private, ticketed sex parties: gbuparty .com malebox .com pighausleather .com lodgeny .com cumunion .com The crowd, atmosphere, etc. of these parties vary wildly and it's impossible to give a general overview of what they're like. It depends on the night, the theme, etc. Some are open invite and some require memberships or pre-approval, so plan ahead. East Side Club is a very disappointing club. It's more of a "sex club" than a "bathhouse" even though there is a sauna and a steam room. There are lockers, but rooms are only a couple bucks more. Guys cruise in towels and sandals, mostly. Partying is of course not allowed but very common. Room rentals are FOUR hours, not eight like most clubs I've been to. There is a AIDS Crisis-era NYC law that prohibits sex in public. The City has come out and said they will no longer enforce that, but the ESC management has stupidly decided to keep enforcing it. That means: no sex in the sauna or steam room, and no sex in your room/cabin with the door open or cracked. (You could wait ass up for someone to walk by and join... but as soon as they join, the door has to close. It's fucking stupid.) With that said... since your trip lines up with Pride, most of these options -- including ESC -- will be better than average. ESC will likely be full and there may be a line or a wait for rooms, so there will be plenty of dick and you'll end up satisfied. But the downsides remain, so just manage your expectations. (I will probably end up at ESC that weekend at least once, so it's not a TOTAL lost cause. It can be fun when I go with friends, party, and lower my standards/expectations to just collect as many sketchy loads as possible.) Sniffies is also very popular here and lots of people organize groups that way. These are usually at someone's apartment, not commercial groups. Kyros, I'm going to message you on telegram. I really just want someone to help me understand the mindset here. When I'm on an app like Grindr, or a site like BBRT, or any other hookup site, I constantly see pictures that are clearly very old or clearly very fake. Old pictures can be a giveaway when there's a mirror selfie showing an iPhone 4 (which came out in 2011 I think?), or the the photo quality is so low/pixelated that you can tell it's not from the last decade. Recently a man send a selfie taken on a flip phone -- and not the kind you can still buy if you're one of those people who don't want a smartphone. Fake pictures are harder to spot, but generally: if you think a profile is too good to be true, it probably is. If I see a 22 year old on Grindr with the hottest body I've ever seen, claiming to have a 10" dick... I'm gonna be skeptical. (And if someone that young and hot and vain doesn't have their instagram attached, that's an even bigger red flag because they love attention on social media lol) I've also noticed some guys will crop their mirror selfies in a way that seems specifically motivated by a desire to hide the old phone model. So I understand that some people don't see the red flags and continue to chat or trade pictures or whatever. But what is the end result? Why would someone send a picture from 2011, knowing damn well they don't look the same now? The reason can't be that they aged well and haven't changed... if that were true, they wouldn't resort to 13 year old pics. So what happens when they show up at my door, or I show up at theirs. Setting aside any safety issues, and setting aside any possibility that the other person will be uncomfortable saying anything or obligated to just see it through, doesn't the catfish feel embarrassed? I just don't see the point! Have you been in a situation where you've been catfished, but just went through with the hookup anyway because it's too awkward to back out? Maybe that's the reason... maybe the embarrassment is worth the few times where it leads to sex anyway.
