I think it will vary greatly by city. As much as I would love to have them be able to duplicate the dog pile orgies I've enjoyed in public play spaces in LA and Denver, I don't think there would be any way to encourage the same kind of scene here in the Pacific Northwest. In fact I think it would scare most of the attendees from ever attending another one. We have had a couple here in Portland that were moderately hot with activity, then Hawks was mostly empty for weeks afterward.

Generally speaking I prefer a little spit, although if I'm bottoming and excited my hole is self lubing. I always apply a little spit for the 1st thrust when I top, unless I know the guy is already fully open. The only time I willing use artificial lube is if the bottom isn't producing any natural lube on their own, it's no fun for either of us to fuck a "sandpaper" hole. -

I can agree with most of this, the number of practicing sluts (both top and bottom) is much lower than represented on the apps or anywhere else. My anecdotal evidence that there are a lot more bottoms than tops, comes from 30+ years of being a fully versatile practicing slut. My top to bottom ratio over time has to be at least 4:1, ironically my post pandemic ratio is 3:4. I was actually griping about a lack of practicing bottoms here last week. Personally I would pick states other than WA and ID, I would skip OR too. I live just outside of Portland now, but the Pacific Northwest is probably the worst place to find guys (or girls) for spontaneous no strings hookups. I do get to travel for work and have reconciled to the fact that I can't get the kind of sex I love here, but can get it on the road. I do think you could have some luck in MT and WY, you may also want to consider CO, UT, NV and northern CA. If you figure out which apps work well post it, my recent experience is that all of them have been taken over by the guys looking for relationships rather than hookups.

That was happening at the bathhouse I go to before the pandemic, I really think it was mostly just an excuse. Even when I obviously had a couple load in me most of them either couldn't get hard or found another excuse. I would add that in Portland, OR it can also be difficult to find a bottom who is willing when I am horny. While an overwhelming percentage identify as total bottoms here, there is still a shortage of guys relative to most cities that are into anal in either role. You will have better luck here if you like to cuddle or JO, even sucking is farther than many want to go with another guy. Try hitting the Cumunion parties, some cities will be better than others, and even then it varies from event to event. My best Cumunion parties have been the ones in LA, which works well since you can often do one in LA and another nearby city like Palm Springs, San Diego, Vegas or San Francisco (I haven't been to one in San Francisco yet) in the same weekend.
