So I am old enough that we had Junior High (starting at 7th grade) and Senior High I don’t remember taking showers after regular gym class in Jr H …. But we did have swim class for about 4 weeks or so in the winter …. And (this was back in the 60’s) and so swim class for boys was in the nude… and we had to take a shower before and after swim… and it was a big gang shower HS also had a gang shower… and there I do know we had to shower after every class… and Swim again for about 4 weeks in the winter) was nude - where we had to shower before and after) and the school provided towels … but you didn’t get your towel until you were leaving the shower, so you had to strip at your locker … then walk totally naked to the gang shower… (looking back now I would live to have been the towel boy … who was always some jock in their senior year…. Not sure how they got selected for the job) - But because we were naked a lot around each other it just got to be normal - no one tried to “cover up” between their locker and the shower because there was nothing to hide ….we had all seen everything (and NO ONE has a big dick in a cold pool in Wisconsin in the winter) (we had to shower …. And then walk down an unheated hall and stand there shivering wet and cold- while we waited for the coach to unlock the door to the pool) So there was no showing off… and no real teasing…. At least that I remember…. And there was one kid in my class …. Well back in the day (as in late 70s / early 80’s ….. I think that’s how most of us met i have good friends who met at a party… went to the hotel and tricked….
