    It's a combination of things for me, really. First, it feels more immediate and real without any barrier. Second, and this of course varies with your (i) status and (ii) use (or not) of PrEP, but there's fun in risk, it heightens sensation and elevates the stakes in a thrilling way.     For tops: Too much grunting. It's sex, it's physical, we get it. But there are tops who can literally just grunt for 45 min, and it gets old once you notice it. For bottoms: Learn to moan something other than "oh fuck" or be quiet for a minute. But, like grunting, listening to "oh fuck" on loop nonstop for 45 minutes gets old quickly. Basically I'm just pleading for some verbal variety (or, gasp, sometimes refraining from saying anything).
