Very good topic. Most has been said. I'd add or abound on a few ones.

1. While many are up to have public sex (in some cities/countries, as in others you can't), not everyone enjoy it. I like my privacy. So, if I'm in an open space, and you approach and I stop what I'm doing or make some gesture to let you know that I'm not interested in more people joining, then move. One night at a place with private rooms and open play spaces, I was in a semi dark corner fucking a guy, then another man approached, I stopped, he didn't move, I said in a politely way: can you please leave us alone? he replied: There are rooms if you want privacy. how am I just now finding this? 

 

I have actually connected with the CEO of a certain chain of spas with a location in Los Angeles. The level of disconnect between the owners and the wants/needs of their clientele could not be larger. 

 

My specific gripes with Flex Los Angeles that I think, to a certain extent, could be applied universally: 

1) competitive, pushy, bitchy BOTTOMS. I don't know what the fuck happened to all the tops in Los Angeles but the last 4 or 5 times i've been to bath houses or sex clubs in general, it's been nothing but bottoms walking around covered up with towels, hopefully grasping at everyone else's crotch as people walk by, hoping it's a top, only to scoff and storm off when they realize it's another bottom. Or even in the video room, stroking COMPLETELY COVERED UP while casually trying to see if anyone else is presenting a cock to service. No one wants to fucking walk around in a goddamn circle for 2 hours playing peek a boo. 

 

2) when the parking lot is FULL, the rooms are TOTALLY FULL, yet there is not a single door open nor any signs of sex (sounds, etc) happening for hours. at Flex, this is because they allow in meth heads who sit there glazed over playing with a flaccid cock solo for hours on end. and they get PUSHY and aggressive when you try and interact, even if the door is open

 

3) this one is rather specific to Flex LA, but I think they get MOST of their funding based on the number of condoms they "hand out", and by that i mean hand you when you walk in and continue to fill the dispensers with, despite the lockers being filled with and floor being covered with unopened condoms. stop pushing the issue. 

 

4) couples who go to bath houses together and only play together. there are a million other places to be cuddly & romantic.

Here are my humble complaints about bathhouses.

At Steamworks Toronto, I find these behaviours not logical to me:

1. If you're here for sex, why don't you have sex? What, or more specifically, whom are you looking for? Is your field of vision so narrow to see the guy before you?

2. Why are you re-directing my hands? You definitely need to calm down. We are here to explore and enjoy each other's bodies and fluids.

3. Why do you pass me by if my ass is sticking up in the air wanting to be fucked? I get my assed slapped a lot (WTF?!) and my jock pulled like a rubber band. Sometimes, as I am vers, I love to be fucked.
