Did you catch the State Of The Union where he said he will “end the AIDS epidemic by the end of the decade”......makes me think of VERIFIABLE HISTORICAL FACTS like: 

Injecting Syphillis into Black sharecroppers in the Tuskeegee Experiment (1932-1972) 

Serratia Marcescens being sprayed into the fog in SF (1950) 

Zinc calcium sulfide sprayed over the Pruitt-Igoe housing projects (1955, and again in 1965)

Sorry, you can’t debate or converse with Trumpers.  Even if you provide facts to back up what you are saying, the Trumpers will twist the truth with more lies, twisting, and propaganda.  They all drank the koolaid and will defend him on EVERYTHING.   He’s an awful, vitriolic man.  The only one I think he would never trash is his daughter Ivanka.    Trump’s following comes dangerously close to the power Jim Jones had over his followers’ minds.   I’ve lost hope in 1/2 of humanity.  It really is disturbing to me.  I would never tolerate trump like behavior in a friend.  I don’t surround myself with people like that.  There are some good ideas he has, but his character and spiteful rhetoric and targeting anyone who crosses him “trumps” any little bit of good he does. Most republicans have sold their soul for one man.  And what’s worse, they weren’t coerced to do it, they did it of their own free will.

The prime reason I don't like his is that you can't trust a single word that comes out of his mouth.  Sometimes I can't decide if he is just spouting and doesn't care or if he is intentionally lying.   Look how many times he's said "I don't know him or I never met him, when there is an over abundance of video evidence that he did.  He doesn't seem to care that in todays age, there is no shortage of ways to prove he's lying.

What he is betting on is that his supporters won't take the time to check and/or they don't care.  They like trump for the same reason medical people liked Dr House.  They wish they could get away with what he gets away with.

What Trump HAS proved is that we as a nation have been deceiving ourselves that we've managed to address the prejudices that are prevalent in our country.  White nationalism has always been here, it's just embolden now because of him.  I'm hoping that when he's gone, we can address these things.  

My fear is that he's irrevocably damaged the democracy.  He's trashing everything the founding fathers worked so hard to create, and what so many people have died for over the decades to defend.

For the record, I’ve known a number of American Muslims and never has one tried to convert me to their religion.  Can’t say the same about your “harmless little Christians,” whose right-wing factions operate as America’s Taliban.  These people like Trump because he is stacking the American federal judiciary with lifetime judges whose sole qualification is their desire to impose right-wing Christian Sharia law upon the rest of us.

The Republican landslide in 2020 is going to be huge.  The Republicans are going to regain control of the House of Representatives, & their majority in the Senate is going to increase.  The Democrats are digging their own grave, & there is no indication that they have any clue how out-of-touch with the majority of Americans they really actually are.

The Democrat party, over the last 50 or 60 years, has been taken over by the Trotskyites or the Bolsheviks or the Communists or the Marxists or the Socialists or the "Progressives,"  The Democrat Party has been completely compromised by the far-left-wing radicals.

The Democrats want to take our guns, & they want to restrict our gun ownership completely.

The Democrats want to give free health care to 20,000,000 people who are in this country illegally.

The Democrats want to allow women to abort their fetuses in the 9th month of pregnancy.

The Democrats had members of Congress who were Ku Klux Klan members well into the 1970s.  Hillary Clinton gave a goddam fucking eulogy for a KKK Senator (Robert Byrd) in the 1990s!

Abraham Lincoln was the first Republican president, people!  Abraham Lincoln was the president who issued the Emancipation Proclamation, freeing the slaves.

The one that, based on the number of seats the Democrats were defending, should have produced a filibuster-proof majority for the Republicans, and only netted them two seats? Like that landslide?

Or do you mean like the "landslide" Hair Furor claims he got in 2016, which was actually in the bottom 25% of electoral college wins and a LOSS of the popular vote by nearly 3 million? (That popular vote loss, by the way, was the sixth out of the last seven for the Republican party, which has won the popular vote for president once since 1988.)

Any woman who is seeking an abortion in the ninth month of pregnancy is not using it as a casual method of birth control and is almost certainly facing delivering a stillborn child or one that will die in short order after delivery. Why some idiots seem to think that decision will be made any easier by the hand of big government sticking itself into the situation, forcing her to go through a full delivery, etc. in such circumstances while simultaneously trumpeting their support for "small government" is a mystery, except that it's not, because it's really all about controlling other people.

The Democrats were indeed the party of southern racists. However, those southern racists abandoned the party in droves for the Republican party once Barry Goldwater came out against the Civil Rights Act and Richard Nixon promised to crack down on the blacks. Jesse Helms, the patron saint of the racist white/right wing of the Republican party, was one of the first. 

Byrd repudiated his early KKK stances as early as the 1950's and called it the biggest mistake of his lifetime. How many Republicans can you name who've listed their own racist policies and support as a major mistake - hell, as a mistake of any sort?

Abraham Lincoln couldn't get elected dogcatcher in the Republican party today. If he ran for president he wouldn't make it past the first primary. For that matter, Ronald Reagan wouldn't get the nomination. The GOP has been taken over by a coalition of mega-millionaires and billionaires who want no taxes, sham preachers who get rich off the "offerings" of the people they dupe, and a bunch of racists who are scared to live in a country where they're the minority, because they know from personal experience how minorities get treated.

It's one study, conducted by one man, who is a non-tenured lecturer at MIT, not a study done by either of the universities themselves. The Hill (which is a pretty crappy "news" source to start with) erred in describing where he works, since he hasn't worked at Yale since 2018, and even then it was only as a postdoctoral associate (which is a polite way of saying "didn't qualify for a tenure-track position but we paid him a little money to teach a few courses".

He is not a demographer, nor in fact has he any experience in demography whatsoever. He has a master's degree in industrial engineering and a Ph.D. in "Operations Management" (whatever that is, but it's not demography).

Interestingly, no other demographic study has been able to reproduce his results. So while that's not hard proof that there are only about 11,000,000 people here illegally, his paper suggesting otherwise is far from conclusive either.

And your point? Nobody suggested Trump is virulently anti-gay the way, say, Pence is. The fact is that Grenell has been a shitty ambassador in Germany (very few ambassadors manage to fuck up on their FIRST DAY in their diplomatic post the way he did), and he has continued to do so throughout his tenure. DNI is a job scores of levels above his competence, and more importantly, being a political whore for Trump means that just as Barr has hopelessly compromised the impartial administration of justice at the DOJ, Grenell will do the same for intelligence. Do you really think that if the intelligence community again determines Russia (or China, or whomever) is interfering in our elections to benefit Trump that someone with Grenell's background would let that information get out? Do you think he'd even tell Trump for fear of setting him off?

Incidentally, Grenell stuck by Mitt Romney after Romney promised he would veto ENDA if it reached his desk as president. And sadly, despite being gay himself, Grenell is something of a misogynist, having tweeted that Rachel Maddow needed to "take a breath and put on a necklace" and that Hillary Clinton was "starting to look like Madeleine Albright." Lest you think that's just anti-liberal bias showing through, he also went after Callista Gingrich, saying her hair looked like a snap-on.

So please, spare me from your efforts of trying to make Hair Furor look like a decent guy. He's the worst president in my lifetime and I lived through Nixon.
