We need more porn where it’s not feeding into the stereotypes. It’s very rare seeing light skin, mixed race and Latino men breeding Black bottoms. You even have racist anti Black Black tops feeding into it with their only fans. It would be nice to see some dark skin bottoms being bred and used by light skinned men. Not all Black men are tops and that’s why white bottoms think they can try and force themselves on Other black bottoms.

I agree with the suggestion, as shown in one of my scenes from "Raw Shots". There should be more of that equation in BB porn, maybe the membership knows of others...

I believe it is far more complicated than just saying, 'gay porn is racist'.

You have what sells, which, historically, has been a specific type. Niches come in with alternative offerings, which while offers up some new representation, still supports and reinforces stereotypes (big black top, asian bottoms, fiery latinos, etc. including twinkly bottoms, big-dick-jocks, etc. which can create challenges for some people, I would argue is not as damaging as representation that generalizes an entire race of people).

There is no way that you, or I, individually, can challenge and force producers to create more porn. What we can do is find other openminded gay men who want to discuss this, and try to have healthy and sometimes awkward and angry dialogue about what turns us on. I spent the first decade of my life as a top, refusing to bottom because I didn't want to live that stereotype. I'm also an Asian guy who is not hairless, super-twinky, and 5'6.

In reflection, despite the rejection (where racism is not always the case) and the outright racism (which includes assumptions and rejections, too) that I've experienced, I surprised a few guys who were turned on by the fact that I was a top -- and albeit, in ten years, I can only recall three -- they acknowledge I opened their minds a little.

At the end of the day, porn companies are businesses. They produce what sells. If you want to make a change, there are several options to make an impact -- OnlyFans or JustForFans -- write up some articles or share content that represents what YOU want to see, etc.

As for the MAGA-hat wearing, anti-Cop shit -- that I feel ... while repulsive at times, is more nuanced. The difference is, are the individuals watching, able to separate the fantasy from the reality and not let it warp their perception of reality and how they operate in the world.

blah blah blah humans can be basic -- but they can also be really awesome, they just need help. Dialogue is a part of that, and sometimes, more often than not, the most difficult thing to get started.

Big porn companies are loathe to make waves.  They make the porn that has always sold well.  They will put out a niche flick from time to time, but the number crunchers will point out that it wasn't as successful as this other milquetoast, vanilla movie, so we should make more of those.  The big porn companies have no impetus to change what they've always done.  More people buy their stuff than other content, so it feeds that mindset.  We need to feed the other companies in order to see change.   Porn is fantasy.  We get to see the beautiful, horse-hung, worked out versions of ourselves that we don't see in the mirror.  THAT is why porn sells.  There ARE porn companies making hot films with "average" guys, with trans guys, with ethnic guys, with bears, etc.  We just have to BUY their shit in order for them to make more of it.  JFF, Onlyfans, chaturbate, tube sites, small porn companies like badseedmedia, myftmcrush, barebackmedaddy, machofucker and even medium companies like dickwadd, hot desert knights and TIM  - they've all been slowly changing the face of "porn".  This is a good thing in my book.  These small companies need to be supported to be able to continue shooting.  Conversations like this are good starting points, but the power is in the dollar.  WHERE we spend our money will determine what porn we see in the future.  Personally, I want to see all the flavors in every position with a lot more kink and fetish.  ....but that's just me (or is it?)

Sadly, this racism isn't isn't limited to porn, it's an issue with the QUEER community.  Whether or not it's perpetuated by porn, some buy into the stereotype of the bigdicked, dominant black male and the total bottom asian.  Also the hypermacho latins who think that kissing makes them less of a man.  My first man told me that sexy comes in all sizes, colors and shapes and that my best asset is an open mind.  Ultimately, it's up to us as individuals to be less racist in our lives, as well as in our beds.

You broke or down well but failed to realise that what porn companies are doing is actually racist and allowing people to buy racism porn. We the consumers are just as racist (not me but we as a whole). I hardly watch porn because all the white men get the men I’m sexually attracted to. I would love to make an only fans but that cost money as well as I do not live on my own. Plus I don’t want anyone knowing it’s me.

if you’re wearing a MAGA you’re a complete racist and that’s what it is.

yes porn is a business but that means they’re only catering to a certain niche that’s reaching people and very much damaging.

That’s never going to happen as white gays will not want to use their privilege to show case and love anyone who hasn’t got a tight ripped body and big dick. Even black gay porn stars cry about racism in porn but still sick their dicks in white men for a cheque. So their crying is void and no one should really care as they put themselves in that issue. Oh well.

I think this is my first BZ post maybe. I have begun dipping my toe into being gay, after being “straight” and married for a long time. As a black man I can tell you it’s difficult to find not just porn but play that fits my desires. I’ve always identified as a bottom before experimenting and when I secretly watched gay videos while married.

I’m masculine, straight acting and fairly handsome, but on Grindr it’s crickets because I list as a bottom. I see all these posts and stories about married straight men being desirable but no takers for me, except for people begging me to top them. I simply have no interest. I joked with a gay guy I know who’s black that I AM NOT A FETISH. LOL. That’s what I feel like sometimes, though, a fetish. Everybody wants BBC but not when it’s attached to a bottom.

As for porn, I literally have searched for hours for decent, high-quality porn with sexy, masculine black bottoms with, say, white and Asian men, but such porn is almost impossible to find.

So here I am, an anal virgin, not for a lack of trying, who can’t even find decent video to jerk off to. LOL please somebody make some good porn with white and Asian dicks breeding some black ass!

It's the lack of imagination that's depressing. So stereotypical, so predictable what's going to happen and who is who. As formulaic as John Nettles in Midsomer Murders - and about as exciting too.  Don't you ever find yourself thinking "why am I watching this?"   It doesn't have to be crap - but for some reason it always is.

I know there's only so much they can do - but they don't even do that.   Miss Marple and straight porn prove that better is possible, limitations notwithstanding.

wah wah wah everything is racist - lets face it the cheap sugary drug of ''I'm offended!'' has taken over peoples sensibilities. If you come across porn you don't like - perhaps thou shalt choose another video?

Whether you choose to accept it or not, racism is a fact of life and the thrust of this post is that there's NOT another video.

Well I wasn’t specifically addressing the OP’s thesis. And this has nothing to do with being “offended.” It’s easy to decry some else’s call for a little more variety when your needs are being taken care of.

In straight porn several major companies have gotten rid of the category “interracial” altogether  because 1) it *is* racist and outdated and 2) Who gives a fuck?

I just blew a big load last night watching two beautiful white guys fuck while my wife was sleeping beside me. I don’t discriminate. I can get off on most gay porn.

My personal plea is that we just get more diverse product out there. That’s all. Variety is the spice of life, no?
