Best city/country to visit in Europe for sex as a cub

I've had an unexpected long weekend pop up in January 2025 and I'll be available to go travelling a bit. I live in the UK so my best bet for a good holiday is somewhere in Europe, where I've not done a huge amount of travel. I want to go to a city with plenty of sightseeing, food, and touristy activities to do (rather than just a "gay" hotspot known for its LGBTQ+ nightlife), but where I'll also be able to find plenty of older, bearish tops to passionately breed my hole all sorts of ways while I'm there. Cities with an above-average proportion of tattooed tops are also very much preferable.

Unfortunately I'm not the conventional young-white-fem-twink bottom (cub build with big arm muscles, hairy, often mistaken for middle eastern or hispanic) and I've heard there isn't much of an appetite for guys with my build in cities like Amsterdam and Berlin. A country where I can purchase vapes and poppers easily is also highly preferable.

Does anyone have much experience travelling Europe and know which cities best fit the bill for this? I'm hoping there is one and that I'm not asking for too much out of a trip abroad.

I've heard Prague hotels can be quite strict with their "guest" policy. A friend of mine mentioned Budapest as an option too, so it will probably be one of those two at this point.

Hi! If you are into sauna I suggest Vienna, my hometown. And some have a weekly bear-day (e.g Apollo) or are frequented by bears (e.g Kaiserbründl). Also a few sex bars with darkrooms and hardly body shaming. And tons of culture, food, art . . .By train it is just a 45min. trip to Bratislava.It is nice to spend a few hours there. We also have possibilities to buy poppers (Sling bar, men for men). Feel free to ask any questions.

Typically head south in winter but there is fun (and culture) to be had if you take lots of winter layers and prepare for snow

The obvious winter choice is Gran Canaria for me. But they cover all types there including bears and cubs. But of course other options mentioned sound lovely too ^_^

Thanks for the insight! I've considered it too. How is the Grindr/"hotel hookup" scene there, in case the saunas get too tiring? Also can you easily get nicotine vapes there as well? I find they give me a decent body buzz and drive up my sex cravings for the day.

I'd love to do GC at some point, but it would raise lots of eyebrows among my social group if I went since I'm more of a city-break than resort-break sort of guy. Perhaps in summer for a bear event though 😈

Grindr and gayromeo are very popular. The gay area is near the metro station „Kettenbrückengasse“. Vienna has a lovely park cruising scene (but now dangerous)- about hotel hookups I have no idea. I am a non smoker but we have tons of shops for nicotine stuff- I am sure you get everything you want.

I think Vienna sounds like a great idea! I’ve never been- it’s a little bit off the radar as far as a ‘gay’ destination is concerned, but sounds promising- I’d love to hear more about it from that point of view.

GC is great for sex, weather and LGBTQ+ nightlife, but as far as the other things you mention on your wishlist (sightseeing, food, etc), it’s pretty rubbish. Whereas you’ll get all that stuff in abundance in a city like Vienna.

Plenty to see and do tourist wise and as a big city plenty of men to fuck and plenty of saunas and dark rooms to get bred in.

For Americans, I think almost any major city in Europe would be a great experience on several levels.  

Amsterdam is fun, Notre Dame is finished with the reconstruction after the fire, so that alone would be worth visiting Paris.  GC is great too, but as far as I see it, nothing will ever beat Berlin for an all-out / anything goes destination.

Yes, I was thinking of Madrid, too- or other mainland Spanish cities such as Barcelona. Fantastic places for both bb sex and more mainstream tourist activities. But one of the OP’s requirements is easy availability of poppers. Although they may be available ‘under the counter’ if you know where to go, poppers are not actually legal in Spain, and I’ve read on this site that the police in Madrid will actively stop and search guys outside gay saunas in Madrid looking for them- so I would avoid.

Perfectly legal in France, however, so yeah- Paris would be another good choice.

Barcelona is also a good option if looking at Spain. Saunas and sex clubs all within the Eixample area and also few bars/clubs with dark room/play areas (Berlin Dark, Men Factory, Open Mind, Rectum come to mind for good sex clubs).
