Just wondering how many of you guys were taking loads back before the advent of ARVs, back when HIV was a lot more deadly. ARVs came on the scene in 1996. It wasn't clear for a year or so that they were wonder drugs, so barebacking back then was still pretty taboo and thought to be extremely risky. As strange as it sounds, I try not to hire people in New York State. NY's laws on employee vs independent contractor are onerous to small businesses like mine so I hire out of state and ideally out of country. Even now, if you're married age of consent laws don't apply to you in most areas. So a 70 year old man could marry a 12 year old girl and legally have sex with her in most places. Age of consent laws mean well, but arbitrary ages are... arbitrary...

The basis of this thread is how would you react to a hypothetical, sexually aggressive 13 year old. The people who've been banned are ones who seem to be advocating a more predatory approach of seeking out young kids to have sex with. IMHO, there's a huge difference between an adult who seeks out underage kids and one who might do something inappropriate if the kid was insistent enough. Just yesterday I had brunch with a school teacher who was talking about a 9 year old who came out to him and was said he wanted to hookup with one of the teacher's (adult) friends. These kids do exist, and some of them are here as adults sharing their stories...

PrEP has been discussed on this site before. I'll just reiterate that IMHO, PrEP is usually a really bad idea. I mean, when are you going to stop taking PrEP? You won't stop barebacking. There is a mobile app you can use to read the site... Forum Runner - look for it in the app store - it's free. There's so much complexity to the site dumbing it down for mobile would be extremely difficult - it's easier to just use the app. I just checked and the site used to tell iPhone users that the app existed. It doesn't anymore... I'll have to look into that... But it does exist... Now that I'm getting back on track one of my goals for the next 6 months is to redesign/rework all my blogs. Just to be clear - I'm absolutely going to keep this site moving forward, but it's not my biggest money maker and I need money to run sites and live life. My business is one based on volume of people I can get to see what I do. If I do a blog post and 100 people look at it I make a lot less money than if 10,000 people look at it - so I have to figure out where people are going and what they want and be at the right place with the right content. [And because Google controls so much traffic, I have to constantly try to make Google as happy as possible.] But absolutely, this site is central to my long term plans. I just need to make sure I'm staying current in other endeavors as well.
