I was a teen in the 80's the in my 20's in the 90's. AIDS was still new then and not much was known yet. I always told myself it wasn't where I lived so I had nothing to worry about. "It was only in San Francisco and I didn't know anyone from Calf." Funny how one can justify bareback sex when young, dumb, and horny. Anyway, all I ever knew was BB with guys. Condoms were only used to keep bitches from getting pregnant. Then I met someone who was HIV+...manager at the bar I worked. He was the one who hired me. Somehow I still wasn't afraid of it. I only used condoms if requested. I've been quite lucky, if you will, that I never got HIV. I'm sure my luck will run out some day. Who knows..maybe I am one of those rare guys who is immune. I wonder, is it possible to be a carrier and not succumb...kind of like Typhoid Mary? Has any research been done on this?
