  1. You might know the answer to this (as I don't - and I can't find it anywhere). When I was in Guatemala (married to a smokeshow of a hot slutwife) in 2013/14, the license plates had 1954 on them. I'm aware that the overrated do-nothing of a POTUS at that time authorised and orchestrated the coup there. Is the reference to that year a constant reminder that the US has never - to say the least - had that country's best interests at heart (despite the fact that USD is accepted alongside GTQ)?
  2. Traditionally, the party with a POTUS in their first term doesn't bother with a Primary at all. While the GQP had a Primary in 2020, who the heck (outside of Massachusetts or Illinois) has even heard of Bill Weld, Roque De La Guerte Ferra, or Joe Walsh? [think before following links] https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Results_of_the_2020_Republican_Party_presidential_primaries
  3. It's called having a contingency plan. I was always told that if you didn't have at least possible solutions for a situation that you hadn't thought things out.
  4. Restrictive, to say the least. Partner visas were taking up to 15 years to be approved - and a lot of members here would be denied permanent residency visas, as Australia prohibits anyone with HIV from immigrating, even if they are a child or parent or spouse of a citizen. Australia also naturally assumes that anyone who wants to migrate only does so for the economic benefits. You basically have to run a gamut of crap to even have someone look at your application - and the system is full of fraudulent "immigration specialists" who are only too glad to take your money then sit on their asses.
  5. They were also looking at what happened in the UK with the Conservative vote. They lost around 20% of their vote - and 251 of their 363 seats - and almost ended up as the "third party".
  6. Having said this, all (presumably) Harris has to do is say one word: Charlottesville.
  7. It takes the oxygen out of both the age attack and the conspiracy rumours re: the staged "attempt".
  8. Vance is Trump's more coherent echo chamber - and Harris screwed the pooch in Mexico and Guatemala in 2021 (plus she has a history of overzealously prosecuting Black defendants).
  9. Mass deportation End of citizenship by birthright Banning of certain nationalities from entering the country of any sort of visa Forcing those who seek any sort of visa to speak fluent English Refusal to admit ANY refugees or those seeking political asylum End of free school meals Force anyone who can walk to work 40 hours a week before they can qualify for any government assistance Re-criminalising possession of addictive substances 1 through 5 reduce the numbers quickly. 6 through 8 increases the incarceration population through an increase in poverty destitution and crimes with a traditionally disproportionate incarceration rate of non-white citizens
  10. I'd gladly eat yours

  16. Provided that ECMs haven't been deployed by then, by the time that the signal from the PM (who is guaranteed to be a ditherer whatever way the election on 4 July 2024 decides) goes through the appropriate MOD channels and is then received by HMS Coulport for anything to be loaded at HMNB Clyde, the 3 or 4 SSBNs'-worth of missiles required to saturate that tiny island would already be halfway over France - and the first one to hit will most likely be right on their heads.
  17. I'd love to exchange fluids with you, gorgeous 😘
  18. Off the top of my head: Ukraine (obvious) Poland (also seen by Putin as "Russian", plus they tried to exterminate as many Polish Jews, Military Officers, Government Officials, and Intellectuals as they could in both World Wars - that's what happens when you have an official State anti-Semitic platform going back to 1881) Lithuania (refer Poland) Latvia (refer Poland) Estonia (refer Poland) Palestine (after they serve their purpose as the Second Front in Ukraine - Putin: "we will win the War by any means necessary") South Korea (Trump tried 4 times to unilaterally dissolve KORUS. Seoul would be eliminated in 30 minutes.) UK (no NATO plus un under resourced military means that Putin adds this to his list) Australia (the Steele Report had part of its origins in the then-Australian Ambassador's remarks over a boozy dinner, plus Trump is on record as saying the present Ambassador is ‘nasty’ and says he ‘won’t be there long’ as Australia’s ambassador to US ) Taiwan (got to keep the Chinese happy, plus it's money that Trump would rather have spent on another golden toilet) There again, what would I know? I've only been following Russian US and Middle Eastern Politics since the late 70s - and I'm the only one I know with a Minor in Soviet and Middle Eastern Political Science.
  19. Not that he has the cajones to do it. His MO? Bleat about it, occasionally shout "what he's doing is an affront to democracy!", and then sit on his backside and presume that things will steady themselves on November 5. At the moment, Trump is Denis Healey and Biden is Geoffrey Howe (those who know, know).
  20. I sincerely hope that folks here remember that how you vote in November literally affects the rest of the world. If Trump wins, there will be a number of countries that won't exist by this time next year.
  21. @viking8x6 - I’d forgotten all about that one! Fuck. That one was hot!!!
  22. There is a Regional Hookup Sub-Forum for DC. You might find what/who you’re looking for there.
  23. Speaking of which, you ain't so bad yourself!
