    On a personal level I’ve had many fun relations with law enforcement before. On a macro level, law enforcement in the US is broken in so many ways.

    I came in for IML just like I have for years, and had a good time but compared to past years, here’s a couple points I noticed. *There was a definitely a lack of the intrinsic joy and feeling of community that past IML’s have had. While it was still crowded people felt more click ish and less willing to meet others. *way less sex overall. Doors always used to be open everywhere and public sex even in spaces where it was technically prohibited was the norm. That was NOT the case this year. It was almost like everyone switched from a cruising mindset to an app mindset. *Events were VERY widely scattered and somewhat disorganized. As noted Chicago is fairly large and spending over $300 on Uber/taxi/lyft was the norm for the weekend. Many events were not close to transit systems. Events at the hotel were meager and mainly was just about the leather mart. *Costs for certain things were just annoying, like $12 for a mediocre well cocktail at the leather mart. This was compounded by the fact that the events were so far and required transport. *the hotel staff which always gets special training for this event was way off. To the extent that they were asking people to leave if they were not staying there. I still had a great time seeing everyone but when all of those items combined the event fully lost some of the magic it always had. I will still go next year and I imagine the organizers will try and fix some of the issues that people had this year.

    Honestly it’s just usual health stuff. Don’t smoke, get exercise, limit drinking, don’t parTy, etc. for med resistance the worst thing you can do is take them very inconsistently. IE like twice a week or on one week off again. You are better off stopping completely, then starting again completely.

    These prosecutions are rare for a reason, this is not common. It has to be said however, that if you are hiv+ actively not on treatment and there are records of your diagnosis, there can be ramifications. Courts can get all of your records if they want too and there is probable cause. In this case he admitted to what he did. IMO this is NOT about the criminalization of HIV. I don’t think any person who is undetectable should ever be prosecuted for having unprotected sex. This is simply a blatant disregard for others autonomy. Take another example, if diabetes was transmissible, I would be extremely pissed if someone purposefully gave it to me. Most feel the same about HIV. There is a reason why stealthing even on here is only allowed as a fiction topic, it is illegal, and imo immoral if you are looking to infect another. Like I said before there are plenty of people that love anon sex and don’t ask questions. If you are poz and don’t want meds find them. These stories give a terrible name to the gay community and contribute hugely to HIV stigma.

    Moderators: Not sure if this is the right forum and feel free to move if it needs to be. So my friend does some escort work. He did do some partying as well, only with the one substance that is usually nicknamed with a capital letter. The big issue is that he was visiting a single client for a meet up. They had met before and it seemed like it was going to be about the same as they always have, some play just with him for a couple hours and leave.     You won’t have problems exactly, but you biggest issue will most likely be almost everything is online based now. Also, so many people don’t or can’t host so depending on your parole situation and where you are living that could hurt your chances. Additionally, the last thing you need is something like possibly getting caught by police in a public setting. Im in no way judging you for anything that’s happened in your life, but you may want to concentrate as much as possible on getting your life back first and jerking off a bit more. Costs for some basic things are also much higher. Adult book stores, bathhouses, basic transportation have also risen significantly. So that may also be a factor. in any case, I’m sure you will find play and best of luck when you get out! You’re a beast and I don’t know what your skill set is but if you could find a decent paying job in construction, I’m sure you could do well. Someone with your muscle mass is a huge asset on job sites and superintendents love people that can punch above their pay grade and do the work of two people. It really gets noticed. Also while you are still in, see if there are any job training programs. While it’s still tough with a record more and more employers aren’t asking for complete background checks. By far your best bet is to start planning your post release now, and that can include sex life as well, but you may also be really busy with general life. good luck!

    That screams scam. The math doesn’t add up for the people doing it, even if you give them the right to film you and distribute it. I know many people are struggling but at the end of the day $500 isn’t that much money and to spend that much time doing it makes zero sense when divided by the number of guys. 2-3 guys for a couple hours, that can make sense.

    As can be searched through any of my posts I’ve done a lot of public heath outreach. however one of the most impactful events was a hookup with a guy who said he was 50, maybe 7 years ago. He was older but looked amazing and I didn’t care. The sex was fantastic. the conversation was incredible and heartbreaking. he has no one left from his group of dozens of friends. he’s the sole survivor. I think it takes actually hearing a survivors tale to realize how apocalyptic he aids crisis was. We look back now with prep, treatment, bug chasing, etc and think ehhh there’s a solution. for so long there wasn’t. Imagine seeing everyone you know die in the prime of their lives. We lost an entire generation of incredibly talented men and every time I think about it I can cry.

    I rarely post now because of changes I felt about how the content was going. For a few years the content was going to a place that IMO was absurd. I personally really can’t stand the guys that are complete fantasy or obv fake. That has a part in the fiction forums, but it was routine in all forums. This has been noted in many of my posts. While I know many like my public health based posts, for many the site is entertainment so oh well. I can’t believe this but I think I’ve been on here 10 years. One last thing however is bareback among gay men now is completely the norm. The idea of what goes on here is slowly becoming akin to smoking weed. Weed use is normal in so many places now so it’s not crazy. Same goes for sites like Bbrt. Yeah it’s good for Cum dump parties. But for a daily hookup.
