    One would hope that this is or will soon be challenged in court. It's obviously over-reaching. Of course I never thought a horrible piece of legislation like FOSTA (which shut down things like Craigslist personals) would be passed let alone that it wouldn't have been repealed or overturned by now. But unfortunately many of these censorship bills get wide bi-partisan support (FOSTA passed in the House by 388-25 and in the Senate by 97-2) so you can't just look at the letter after a politician's name. Too many of them are against rights in general.

    Unfortunately for me... it looks like the nearest place that is part of those trials is Houston, which is a 3+ hour drive each way from Austin, and sadly, I would bet that probably excludes me from taking part. Maybe they will expand the trials in the future.

    Thanks for the info on how to find out about the trials. That should help anyone who is interested in participating. I took part in one of the trials for Novovax's Covid vaccine. I'll have to check in to whether this one is going to be offered in my area. There are major research institutions around here so we have some companies that work with the drug companies on trials on a regular basis even though Austin isn't a really huge city (2.5-3 million or so).

    Work has been hell for me lately as well. I've got new parts of some stories in the works I haven't been able to make any progress on also. Don't worry... it happens. Sooner or later things will clear up.
