However, as the holiday season is winding down, I am wondering what the large parties are all about. I usually allow between 7-10 full calendar days before resuming any activities. It does bum me out but I recognize the importance of this step. This also brings me to your second question regarding informing/disclosure to the men I ‘shag.’ Yes, I do disclose when I suspect an STI. I also inform them that I am in the process of being treated, in quarantine, and recommend that they be tested. After that, they are on their own. I have yet to have issues with this. Since going on PrEP a few years ago, I have increasingly ramped up my bottoming and load intake. My evolution has moved beyond being your average Truvada whore to a full on cum dump. I cannot seem to get enough. Recently, I have been taking upwards of 3-5 loads a day. I have even astounded myself. I've been on PrEP for two and a half years now. I first started taking PrEP when I signed up for a clinical study for PrEP's effectiveness. That was a study through UCLA. Some may recall my experience. I chronicled it. During the clinical trial, I started stepping out and barebacking more at sex parties and with undetectable tops and bottoms. I am an avid gloryhole bottom so I love taking anon raw loads as well. I was tested every three months (it's standard protocol) and came back neg every time. After the trial, I continued with PrEP through my insurance. Since then, I've continued the three month testing regimen (again, standard PrEP protocol) and I have come back neg everytime. The only down fall... I have had chlamydia twice, gonorrea once, and syphillis. The first two STI's were easily taken care of. The syphilis on the other hand required a shot. Very painful. With that being said, I am still undetered. I will continue to give and take loads. I still go to the baths, bookstores, gloryholes, parties and cruising spots. Last week, I went to a spot in near the mountains and took 5 loads. I just love making a day out of Route 66 and taking loads. I have had no side effects and I have also found a way to stock up on the antibiotics necessary to treat the basic STI's (Chlamydia, Gonorrea and Syphillis ). When I suspect something, I consult my CDC treatment guide. I teach at a medical school so I have access to this. Others may not. I augment that with my usual three month tests. It works for me but may not work for others. For those wondering, I try and keep Azithromax, Amoxicilin, Ciproflaxin and Doxcycline. All recommened by the CDC for STI treatment(s).

I have gone to two of the Redlands parties. I had agreat time at one. The other was empty. I got there too late. I live in the Redlands area so it was convenient. Since then, they are no longer hosting parties in that location. They have moved up into San Bernardino/Devore area. I have not been to that location but do plan on heading to one of the NoHo parties soon just for comparison. I have gone to CumUnion in Palm Springs a few times and never seemed to be popular or have any luck.

I can't agree more with Manmachine. I was born and raised in Sacramento. I too have been all around the world; eventually settling in between Palm Springs and Los Angeles. I go home to Sac often. Hey all! I have been bottoming a lot lately. A lot! I've noticed as of late that I have experienced some painful urination. When I say painful, I mean a burning sensation. I know it's not an STI. I have recently been tested and have come back STI free. I recall a post way back when regarding douching. Les_Evil: Excellent analogy! I think PrEP changes the risk dynamic mentally. It's that age old adage about the brain being the largest sex organ. It's the hunt/thrill. For most of us before PrEP, barebacking and taking loads was so taboo that that's what made it so hot and exciting. Now, Neg + PrEP = no excitement mentally. A profile with "Ask me..." or "Negative" still implies risk. Risk = mental excitement.

Rawfuckr: I have thought about a spread sheet as well since I am in a clinical study as well. Every month I am asked about my loads and I have only a small vague idea. Although I am mainly a top, I have taken maybe three loads since going on PrEP in May. I am just now getting passed the mental hurdle of being a cum dump. You've inspired me!
