    I've have been debating between which of the two is the better deal. Hope to retire in 10 years and maybe leave my home state of Maryland. I've been to Palm Springs four times and will be there again 10 days from now for my birthday. Also, one of my siblings lives in CA. What I like about Ft. Lauderdale is that I love being around water. This man enjoys being on the ocean. Both places are gay Meccas and it's great to be around our own tribe. Someone above noted how lousy traffic is in the FT. Lauderdale area and he's absolutely right. Between 4 & 7 in the late afternoon, it can take you 30 minutes to drive 4,5 miles. Nuts. Condos start around 100k in FTL wheras in Palm Springs, they start around 150k and a nice one means you need to look at 225-250k and upwards. No state income tax in FL. Politically I am an independant. In the past dozen years so many have gone off the deep-end and poilitcs has become their religion so I know that some of my friends are turned off by DeSantis, then on the flip side, many consider CA the land of crazies. None of this means much to me as I stay in the middle of the road. Still debating but if I had to make a choice right now, I'd likely pick FTL.

    I’ve always enjoyed Treasure Island Media’s movies. Just my two cents but from what I’ve seen and heard from some guys I’ve met in the industry, the pornographic film world has just gone through major changes in the past X years , one of which is the fact that most guys who watch porn no longer pay for it since there’s so much free stuff to see online. It also doesn’t pay the actors a whole hell of a lot. They’ll fly you in, put you up in a hotel for the duration of the shoot which is usually 1-4 days and pay you a few hundred. A lot of the guys do it for their ego (self fulfillment) and that they get to indulge in some good sex with hot guys. That said, an ‘actor’ I met told me that it can be difficult to maintain an erection etc...when you have a camera shoved in your face, right below your ass. Clinical atmosphere. Then there’s the pullout and cum scenes and I was told that they often have to shoot several of those and edit them in. I think many of the sought after actors prefer to maximize their income through other means; simple micro economics.

    When I was young, back around the time that speech replaced sign language, after I had gay sex I just wanted to get away from the guy. He didn't. Both happened years ago. Sounds like textbook cases of 'gay panic' and don't kid yourself, guys who suffer from homosexual panic can be dangerous. Used to be referred to as Kempf's Disease. Now, most homosexual related diseases/Illnesses have all been removed from the DSM which is great BUT there have plenty of legal cases where the defense will use the 'Gay Panic Defense' and get their client off. Many straight men still believe that they would be perfectly justified in physically attacking a man for making a pass at them. Murderers of gays have even gotten off or had greatly reduced sentences when their attorney used that defense.

    I was at INN LEATHER 2 weeks ago and Doug, the manager said that although the event itself had been cancelled he did not have one cancellation and was still expecting a full house of guests. I was glad to hear that as so many businesses have been heavily hurt ($ $ $) by all of the restrictions related to covid-19.

    I just spent 4 nights at INN LEATHER in Ft. Lauderdale a little over a week ago. I had a nice time. Yes, there are restrictions in place but of course they have to be. Hot tub was shut down & covered, the public sling had been taken down though the ones in the guest rooms are all working. Was kind of funny seeing guys walking around naked with semi-hard-ons while sporting those pale blue disposable facial masks. Looked like a bunch of horned up surgeons on the make. I don't think all of the rooms were filled while I was there but there was also guys there on the 'day pass'. Doug, the guy who manages the place was great and was constantly running around to make certain everything of running well. At night some of the guests were wild, but hey that's what I want ! They're also running a 'special' at the moment where the smaller studios are only $ 100. a night (down from the usual 160.-240.). I don't know how long that's being promoted but for the time being, definitely a good deal. That's what I did. I had Room # 3 which was perfect for me and close to the pool and entrance.
