If you click on “more@, you’ll hopefully get an email icon towards the top left hand of your screen (I’m on a 12 Pro). If you get that and click on it, you should be able to put in the name of whom you’re trying to message- I hope! 😂 -

If anything, I’m finding I’m getting more as I age. That said, I keep in far better physical shape than I did 20 years ago, so maybe that’s why.

I don’t think you’re being un-PC at all. When I was in my 20s I was in a relationship with a guy older than myself. More than fuckbuds but we didn’t live together. When we went out to dinner or the theatre, he paid. I never once asked him to but that’s how it was. Now I’m much older and financially successful, if I went out with a younger guy I would automatically book the tickets and pick up the tab. Not because I’m “buying” him but because that’s just the kind of guy I am. If he offered to pay, I wouldn’t insult him by refusing, but I wouldn’t expect it. On a separate note, I once asked a young guy why he sought out older men. “The sex is always better,” he replied. “At the back of their minds they worry that they might be doing it for the last time, so they put their backs into it!” That flippancy made me smile.

One of my best mates - brother from another mother - is the straight me. Or I’m the gay him. He’s mid-40s but still in great shape. To say he’s well-endowed would do him an injustice. Let’s just say I reckon 13 sparrows could perch on it... although the last one might have to stand on one leg. He’s so bloody good-looking that I tease him he’d be knee-deep in cock if he came over to our side and put an ad on Grindr. He says he identifies as 100% straight. At the risk of being accused of arse licking (though that is something I’m adept at...) I think you’ve devised a good system. I know it can be frustrating until one builds a reputation, but this is a unique site which has allowed me to discover that other guys share my passions. But it’s perfectly clear that, by its very nature, a site like this could be open to abuse without firm control. And because of that control I find the site probably the friendliest of all the sites I’m on. And for that, one has to applaud you and the moderators.

This is an excellent thread. I’m not quite yet at 60, but since turning 50 I’ve found myself being messaged by guys in their early to mid 20s. But then when I was in my 20s, I was only interested in guys a lot older than me. So in addition to the good advice above, always remember that he was you one day. The one thing no one ever tells you about getting older is that while your body might slow and grey a little, you feel much the same inside. My mum is 82 and joked that she still feels 18 in her head... until she looks in the mirror! 😂

If that is how you genuinely feel, then I am sorry for you as I hate to see anyone distressed or upset about anything . But there is a censorious tone to your post which, on this particular site, is at best undiplomatic and at worst offensive. There is nothing horrible about my life. I have a very good and balanced one. To be frank, I barely notice my status at all. It is what it is. I didn’t seek it out but I was pretty certain it would seek me out eventually. So there it is. If the site offends you, perhaps it’s time to reassess if you wish to continue participating on it.

I’m intrigued by your post. I’ve read that O Blood types are statistically less likely to contract Covid, or be severely ill from it. But is that anecdotal or is it something you’ve seen?
