  1. Indeed @BlackDude not everyone tolerates every antibiotic.
  2. @Jaygusher Hopefully you'll wrap this particular story up; although I think after the bar Will's ass is already bugged. Maybe take him through fuck flu and sink into full on depravity????
  3. @curiousaboutbb you do have the right to sit this one out. I submit though that when we sit out an election; we are already letting others make the decision for us.
  4. Classically testing was done for THC. Now with it legal in so many areas and countries with less consequences than alcohol; what is the motivation? The last employer I worked for had an official policy about random drug testing. But I never heard actual accounts of that being done.
  5. True, there are no official flag rule keepers although I am sure there are many who desire that. And I'll expand on that; gatekeepers seem to be around. While I understand in many cases why someone is put off by certain words. I has some early coming out years in the early 1970's when I gave a crap about what color of hanky I carried. Rather I resorted to just asking that nice lookin guy I started talking with. Somehow we survived that and didn't have to resort to fisty cuffs to resolve that (not the fun kind).
  6. Thankfully we've millennia of data on human behavior to consider. Humanity seems to have our cycles as well. The USA has survived some challenges; seemingly every year or so has it's big human/social impact thing. Some years like 1968 might have seriously skewed that average. 🙂 Historically we've climbed out of our national challenges; often replacing one challenge with another. And it seems we are as a species capable of learning from history to attenuate the depth of future social strife. Perhaps we focus too much on one thing and thus fail to observe deviations of our trajectory.
  7. My understanding is that our position has for quite awhile now been to strongly encourage Netanyahu and Hamas to come to a peace agreement. We aren't IN the war. We sell stuff to them and largely the good stuff. A whole lot of people are truly distressed that the Palestinians in Gaza are getting majorly fucked, and not in the fun way here on BZ. Israel is a long standing ally on most world matters. So a lot of cooperation, to some degree even reliance exists between USA and Israel. We can't diplomatically just sever ties. Nor should that be considered advisable. Rather we need to continue to speak our distressing observations with our ally and strongly encourage them to stop the destruction of another nation just to get your hidden enemy. Biden has been at this particular condition for months now. It isn't like he is doing nothing. But in this "fuck it let's divorce" world many have stopped thinking, if they ever even considered, that the best allies are the ones we can not always agree on and still keep the alliance going; trusting over time it will resolve. Only a dumb ass like Trump would just go off and break an agreement or dump an ally. Who can trust us after that? And why should they when our word is on wet tissue paper? It would be utterly foolish for her to even discuss this except for when the Orange Clown asks such a dumb ass question. I'm sure she will be prepared to answer in a manner consistent with the vapid whims exist that particular day - when we get to that day.
  8. .... @hntnhole and I believe it is going to get worse before it gets better. But I do believe it will at a point get better.
  9. And along that line, I guess it depends upon whether you wanted a hot fuck or a hot face.
  10. Indeed @tallslenderguy In reviewing a well done CNN series on 1968; that was a form of a civil war I think; and I believe we'll AT LEAST see that this Fall. @hntnhole the operation of our government will dramatically change. A full on civil war might ensue. The Orange One is going to claim he won regardless of the facts; and how his people act might make Jan 6 look rather tame being in just one location. I think we need to be prepared for some difficult times.
  11. Thanks for your reply. We may have to agree to disagree on that one though @brnbk. Disclosing someone's specific location does nothing to protect a customer. Beyond that; hell yeah I think sites catering to us gay folk need to promote our diverse interests. In my experience gay bars are more often than not in the less desirable areas of their communities. And so being aware of what is around us is an essential part of being there. But if I am a participant at an event like the Olympics, I for one would shut off location features on my own phone first and most likely would not use Grindr but take advantage of the high density healthy co-attendees in person at watering holes and eating places (and I imagine spontaneously created cruising places).
  12. Not to mention property taxes... You're welcome? It is a gift I give myself. That others benefit too is just frosting on the cake. 🙂 And @BootmanLA I am grateful every Thursday when my local paper comes. And it is so weird. Somehow we survive with out "breaking news" for the rest of the week...
  13. Pretty simple for me; a top is the guy whose dick is currently fucking my hole....
  14. When outing people risks their lives; I think providers should attenuate certain services; in particular during times where security measures are already heightened. WRT words. Is anyone else getting tired of the never ending unfolding of "words you can't say"? They are f-ing words. If we put binders on words so that one can ONLY say certain things we are, essentially telling them "communicate my way or don't communicate at all"? How does this help us pull together as a cooperative species. We seem to have lost the ability to "agree to disagree".
  15. Poll worker here.... And that probably influences my viewpoint quite a bit. Working an election with a 20% turnout is frustrating. Local elections are far and away the most consequential to ones daily life. And yet I win my local office seat quite handily with those tiny turnouts. Somehow we need to make talking about politics sexy again. It shouldn't have to resort to shouting. We might have to agree to disagree. The League of Women voters who not surprisingly are THE place to go for candidate information (vote411). I regularly see the R seats with ANY candidate input at all. The local boards are the ones making the rules governing what happens where one lives. Closest representative government to ones residence. And yet 10 to 20 percent will show up for the local elections. And even the big ones might get to 70; I think highest ever here was about 80 percent turnout. One would think ones most local representative would actually be picked to represent. A relative handful decide for the many.... 😞
  16. Most of my active fucking life I was vers; pretty much from the git go. I flipped with my first fuck; and that no doubt influenced me. ED has become my nemesis in recent years and I fear my fucking years, however much my will wants to; are unlikely. At a point surgery will be recommended for my cancerous and often invading easy voiding prostate. Next stop WRT voiding is removal. Although potentially that might resolve me ED... Hmmm
  17. There are ONLY two agendas being floated by the presidential candidates in 2024. One is towards a dictatorship, the other to continue our largely successful attempt at democracy. A whole lot of us will NOT get alignment this time with our ideology and agendas. But with the right choice, we get a chance in future elections.
  18. No, Mitch McConnell put us in this position when he decided that ratifying a proposed candidate from our black president was too much to bear in his last year in office, but when Orange Geesus posed his in his last weeks, that was fast tracked.
  19. I always swallow...
  20. What does it matter. Of the two candidates one is looking to benefit us the voters, the other is looking to benefit himself. How is race even relevant to this particular election?
  21. A good start. Working on seven years of grief seems a higher priority than a guy who doesn't give a crap about your own sobriety. That's a long time to hang onto grief; but addict personalities tend to get caught on a thing; be it meth, alcohol or personal tragedy; and stay stuck there. I wish you well my brother.
  22. @BootmanLA Oh man my friend. Did you dip into my supply of curmudgeon pills???? 🙂
  23. Can Trump toss Vance aside???
  24. Certainly is true that at end the responsibility belongs to the OP. But the former friend who is trying to bring him back into the life isn't a friend either...
  25. You captured my thinking about Mayor Pete well. While he has the skills to be president and I believe eventually will be, SOS would be a proper next step. And Kelly adds an essential balance to the ticket. Astronauts are historically vote getters.
