I've been on prep since september. I don't take any load but have some bb sex that I didn't have before.

Yesterday the doctor's office called me and told me I have chlamydia in the rectum.

I had a urine test a month before that didn't detect chlamydia.

Does it mean I got it thrgh unprotected receptive anal sex? Since the last chlamydia anal test I only had 4 unprotected anal penetration. Does it mean I got it by 1 of those four guys? I had many other partners with who I had oral and top anal sex (some with condom some without). Is it possible that one of them game me chlamydia?

I also had a throat chlamydia test a few days before the anal  test. Last  time I had sex was a few days before the throat test. I suspect I cached something because I got a strep throat. I don't have the result of the throat test. but I guess the other doctor would have called me if I had chlamydia.

I never had anything before prep. I don't know if I should take that as a warning sign that I have to change my behavior.

Yes, you got chlamydia in the ass from one of those 4 raw fucking instances. Chlamydia, is the most common bacterial STD. Urine test will only detect an STD in the urethra, not in the mouth or in the ass, you need all areas swabbed.

PrEP protects you from HIV but nothing else. The good news is most other STDs can easily be treated with antibiotics, so the important thing is to keep getting tested and treated. I'm sure doctor gave you antibiotics that will take care of any chlamydia you may have.

It would be cool that you informed your 4 partners about this, because it's 100% sure one of them is infected and should get treated.

Thank you for saying this.  Not nearly enough men have the balls to actually do it.  I hate making those phone calls, but I do it.

We need to take care of each other.

If people can't cough up the courage, some STD clinics provide an 'anonymous' service where they'll call or send a postcard from the clinic saying that someone they've been with tested positive for an STD and they should get checked.

I frankly don't have problems telling the tricks I care about. When I broke the news in the past the reaction has been positive. It makes stronger the trustworthiness in the person.

Been on PrEP for a year now...alls well. Luv taking raw cock...take as much as I can get. Generally don't ask status. PrEP has protected me so far. Had gono once in the past year and a second brush but no infection. Hate the painful shot in the ass muscle...butt that's the risks we bare backers take. Appreciated my fb giving me the news about the STD - called my doc right away.

Yeah, I take any load. And that's been picking up over time. Been on PrEP for two years now and over that time I've been fucked over 260 times and have taken 185 loads. But a more than half of that cock (160+ fucks) and nearly half the loads (87) have been in the 5 months so far this year. So over time I'm really stepping it up and being more and more of a cumdump bottom.

I go in for my 3 month check-up on Friday and totally expect to test neg again, but I am catching other STDs pretty frequently - to the point that I'm gonna ask my doc to put me on daily doxy - as PrEP against most of the other common STDs (gonno, chlamydia, syph). If he puts me on doxy I'll be able to take any cock and any load without the hassle of catching bugs (or the embarrassment of passing them on).

I have been on PrEP for a year and 3 months now and just got my test results - still Neg!  Since my last test results, I have received 24 loads (small number by most in this group's estimation) with a majority of those being poz and purportedly undetectable.  My Dr. is an Internist/HIV Specialist in SoCal.  He was happy to continue PrEP after my PrEP study concluded and we discussed my sex live fairly extensively and he knew that I had already taken positive undetectable loads before.  He did not discourage nor encourage taking poz loads (although he did joke that it may not be a good idea to jump in the sling at Slammer and take any load for eight hours).  All in all, I do feel more liberated on the medication and have had a lot more sex with a lot of different people I never probably would have before.
