Dude, like you I grew up just before the Internet, so in the early '90s, I subscribed to 2 gay mags called Friction and First Hand that published a lot of short stories and fiction. One of them I will never forget.

I castrated myself via alcohol injections over time.   I really do not have photos of that.   I finished them off by a visit to a sadist who clamped me with a burdizzo.  While I have video of that, I do not share it much.  She was quite clear on wanting to avoid any publicity regarding that.   Additionally, I had some issues healing....had some medical treatment.....and got locked up in a psych ward for a bit.

Yes, that is the general thought for most castrated men (intentional eunuchs or not).  Not only does the testosterone help with sex drive, it does have many other health benefits.   Of course, those men who are changing genders do not want that.   Those of us who are intentional eunuchs may or may not want the testosterone.   No doubt, much like with being poz, there are health issues that must be managed.

The psych stuff was certainly NOT warranted.   But, to some degree it is kind of standard process for the medical community when they think someone is doing "self harm.  However, they also ignored the fact that I have made a effort to have very good psych support in my life for many years.  I have made a huge effort to really understand my own wants and needs.  I also have made every effort to make certain that my own actions do not affect others beyond myself.  Anyhow, more on all that will be on the other site as I organize that material into a better format.  Thanks for asking.
