I’m so sorry for you. Seriously, though, the way people use the term BBC has always made me super uncomfortable. I think one of the worst examples I noticed recently was how Tim Tales was titling their video previews. They’d have a video of a threeway with two black guys fucking a white guy, and they’d title it something like “Two BBCs for Cody” or something like that. The black guys didn’t even get fake porn names...just “BBC,” as if they were an object like a dildo. I stopped going to the site because it was so awkward and dehumanizing. You stopped going to a site for using the term BBC? And you're not even black? Stop white knighting you're not impressing anyone . 1 1

Guys who are only interested in size simply need to say “hung”. People who ask for “BBC” find the idea of being submissive to a black man more. Whether it’s more degrading, shameful, exciting, etc. i never thought of it as offensive, but I’m white. Thinking about it, it is obviously offensive. White people absolutely should shy away from using “BBC”. Now BBC is racist? Omg white people are so indoctrinated please just stop 1

And I can’t help but notice you don’t have any snappy comebacks to any of the posts by actual black people in this thread, so clearly you don’t have the courage of your convictions. Nice try, though.

I understand preferences and attraction and don’t begrudge anyone theirs. However, in the sex positive community, I’ve seen too many examples of racial stereotype/fetishisation passed off as simply a desire for big dick. Furthermore, at least once a day on Grindr, BBRT et al, I’m approached by another bottom asking me to fuck them. I’m Black therefore must be hung and somehow THEIR pussy will be the one to magically make me want to be the dominate top who will fulfil their fantasy of having a “BBC” impaling them. This frankly reduces me down to an acronym and I’m going to just put it out there (because most guys don’t): it makes me and a lot of other Black men feel really shitty. Can we please retire this and get back to the regularly scheduled breeding? i'm bringing the top back to the bottom in an attempt to make it the top again. This topic was started by a black man telling us the way the term "BBC" makes him feel. As a white guy, i cannot relate. i can use my experiences as a gay guy growing up in a conservative religious culture to help me understand what it means to be a part of an often despised minority, but i will never relate to what it means to be black. The best i can do is listen and try and learn from those who are in that position. To me, it is not a question of exercising a "right" or "freedom of speech" for me to try and argue against the way i think a black person should feel about the term BBC, it's delusional. Really? i think gay people should really have a leg up on understanding this ethnocentric phenomena. As a gay person, haven't you ever had straight people assume you are just being 'pc' or 'oversensitive' by something blind and inexperienced that they have said? How about calling your being gay a "lifestyle" and implying your orientation is something you have chosen? i don't think most are purposely racist, but i do see that a lot of racism is culturally and subconsciously engrained (vs a conscious decision to be overtly racist). i believe that hiddenness and denial sustains it. DrrAid has articulately and graciously exposed one such 'ism' and simply made a plea for stopping its use. 2 3

Black men on our screens (whether it's porn or mainstream TV) are almost always beautiful. The only one I can think of who's an "ugly" black top was Ben Gunn. And I didnt even have any objection to him until I saw his nasty butthole while he was fucking Caleb Daniels. British porn star Tyson Tyler, would you call him ugly? What about Hot Rod? The only "ugly" black guys I see are the grumpy grey-haired middle-aged ones I see on a bus or train..... Tops in porn are there to be aggressive, dominating figures and stunt cocks, they arent meant to be pretty anyway... this goes for all races.... In real life those grumpy gray headed Black men you see on the bus are the best lovers on the planet. 2
gwmxyz Posted February 10, 2019 Report Posted February 10, 2019 A bit off topic, but I've never really understood the "sexual racism sux" thing. If that's right, why are sexual ageism and sexual sexism any better? Aren't they mixing up two different things - who you invite to a job interview as opposed to who you want to fuck? And unless you'll do anything that draws breath aren't you bound to be a bit sexually racist/ageist/sexist? I heard of a guy whose ideal guy would be an FW de Klerk lookalike. I'll be honest. FW doesn't really do it for me. Is that really unacceptable? It's bound to be a bit unfair too. SWC is never going to have quite the same appeal . For me cock size doesn't matter - as long as it can get in but if some guy only likes black guys with big cocks, I don't see the problem. He's the one missing out. Unrelated but I think porn definitely has ugliness to cock size correlation - the uglier the guy, the bigger the cock - particularly for the white guys. My complete favourite is who you would think are stereotypical bottom guys, especially asian, who are in fact super top. So hot! And the angrier they get about this sort of stuff, the hotter they become...

I have never in my life even fixed my lips to call somebody a rice queen. Its not even in my vocab but its in yours that that should tell you something right there. And bear? Really? How about you find a bear that's offended then we'll talk. But you probably wont and im sure you know that. Its ashame even on a gay bb site i have to argue about race.
Guest Cle216fkr Posted February 10, 2019 Report Posted February 10, 2019 Do what you want man. I just hope you don't get any black dick attached to black men you dont give a fuck about.
Guest MightyMouth Posted February 10, 2019 Report Posted February 10, 2019 I'm just going to say that while I know I shouldn't be, I am surprised by the amount of prejudice and racism that's coming out in these posts. As a privileged, white man I recognize that I am not the expert on what is offensive and not offensive to others. I can't speak for anyone except myself but if I say something offensive, I hope someone brings it to my attention so I can keep growing into the best person I can be.

ErosWired Posted February 10, 2019 Report Posted February 10, 2019 I would think that in general, and absent blatant bigotry, the likelihood of most terms causing offense is in inverse proportion to how precisely they are applied to a given subject. Personally, I would find it very useful if terms like GBC (Great Big Cock) or RHC (Really Huge Cock) or AWC (Ass Wrecking Cock) entered into the lexicon as commonly understood abbreviations. That way, the only reason anyone would have to use BBC is if he were very specifically interested (for whatever reason) in a large-cocked black lover. I take all cocks, but I would readily express a preference for GBC and RHC if guys knew what I was talking about … 1

It's sad bu I have two profiles on quirt, one for topping and one for bottoming. Of course the top one gets hit all the time. The bottom gets hit by other bottoms also wanting a BBC. I do say I have one, but this profile is about me exploring the bottom side. I dont know about you, but it's harder being a Black bottom than top. Seems everyone wants a big black dick in their ass, but does not know how to handle when the Black guy wants to get fucked. And no I don mean everyone, but there's a majority out there for sure 1
