How unusual is it for a bottom not to use poppers?

I shied away from poppers for years. They kill my boner if I'm not careful, and even if I'm bottoming I still like to be able to rub out a load while I'm getting fucked.  Too many of the bottles for sale at the local shops turn out to be counterfeit or stale. Then a buddy that I see far too infrequently turned me on to the plain brown bottle that he sourced locally from a NYC leather shop. I got some and haven't looked back. Good stuff, I just have to use it judiciously.

I'm a bottom who does t use poppers. I tried them when I was maybe 18 anid didn't "get " the Rush (pun intended). I tried them again in my 40s. Sane thing.  If anything,  poppers tend to give me a headache.   I usually have to hold my breath if someone nearby or in me is using them.
