I happen to live near the Sunshine Skyway Bridge and many of the Sniffies hookups wanted to play in their car at Maximo Park, which is like a 5 minute drive for me. One problem - Pinellas County Sheriff got wind of what was going on and started "ticketing" guys for having sex in vehicles and referring their information to the State Attorney's Office. I had a friend who was snagged doing it and it has literally turned his world upside down, as there is a fear of possibly ending up on the sexual offender's list. Granted the probability of that happening is small, but still he had to hire an attorney, go to court, it really was a nightmare for him. What makes me scratch my head is it's just as easy to come to my place than to find a place in the park that is out of view. So you are right, "traffic" as I call it, is down on Sniffies, at least in the Saint Pete area. One bright side is it now Spring Break/Snowbird Season so there are alot of out of towners in my area and they are more willing to come to the house and less likely to pressure me to have sex in a car. However, once summer comes and they go home, I think Sniffies will go back to being kind of slow. I don't understand this sudden "sex the the car phenomenon" as it is risky, and in my case I live so close to the area it just makes sense to come here.

This isn't anything new. Even in rural areas, the percentage of those guys who identify as "straight" but were still on the DL is very high, almost equal to those living in metropolitan areas. As I have gotten older, many of the guys I have hooked up with were formerly married to women, or have children from past relationships. I figured that was a "sign of the times" as many who were willing to talk about the subject said family pressure was the main reason they married and had children, not because they really wanted to. I moved from a more rural area to a metropolitan one, and I found that the percent was about the same. Also, if I met guys through say through the now defunct Craigslist, those guys were not the same as those who would post profiles on say adam4adam, or barebackrt. I would say the majority identified as bisexual or said they were straight, but wanted to have sex with a guy once in a while. I heard reasons like "My wife won't suck my dick" or "She won't do anal". When I lived in "the country" so to speak, the three guys who I saw on a regular basis were either married, previously married or were living with a woman. I used to think there was something wrong with me that I attracted guys that used to have sex only with women, but after talking to other guys I found that they too, were having sex with guys who identified as bisexual or wouldn't even go that far. I make it a point not to ask personal questions when I first meet someone. It's not my business, no one forced them to respond to my profiles or come over my place. But after a few years and seeing a personal twenty or thirty times, I felt a question here and there was fair game and those who continued to stop by eventually opened up and talked about their personal lives. After all, it's just sex, there is no emotional involvement, and no one owes anyone an explanation. But a little background info about how you ended up in my bed on multiple occasions made me more comfortable with them . In most instances, I answer their texts first.

Sleeping with the brother of your boyfriend? His brother is a bit too close to home. If you really value your relationship with your boyfriend I would file that fantasy away in the "If I only could sleep with....." part of your brain. Because frankly, that's a recipe for disaster, at least in my opinion. Now, if some glorious day your bf tells you he wants to include his brother in a little three way play - JUMP ON THAT OPPORTUNITY. It never happened to me when it comes to boyfriends. But I have slept with two brothers at the same time, as well as a father/son duo (dad in his late 40s, son in his early 20s). I got the flu shot in November. I didn't socialize much, wore a mask at the Supermarket and Walmart, and still ended up getting the flu the week before Christmas. Tamiflu (I believe that is what is was called) was prescribed by my doctor and I felt so much better in two days, though it was a five day treatment. Sad thing was trying to find a pharmacy that had it in stock, an out-of-the way Walgreens finally had some in available. The toughest part was conniving my doctor I didn't have Covid, my "at home" tests were expired and they didn't want me coming into the office. Thank God fhey were willing to do my visit via web-cam because I was really suffering, I thought my head was ready to explode. I am convinced you can get the flu almost anywhere, I think next year I won't wait till November but I was also getting vaccinated for MPK and another covid booster that month and I just didn't remember to do it. I won't make that mistake next yet.

Well I don't share the files, I don't use the "torrents" app either to view them. I watch them, then delete. I took the advice from torrents themselves when they say studios like Corbin Fisher and Lucas Entertainment are known to prosecute people who illegally download their movies, which is nothing I am crying over as those studies are two I stay away from. I am aware of an individual in my area who downloaded the entire server from a now closed bath house in Tampa, and he was arrested on site and spent time in Federal prison. Not the way I want to spend my time, so I have limited my downloads to a few times a year but I have wanted to keep the account active as new memberships have become increasing difficult to obtain. Not making excuses for my behavior but it just has been something I have had for so many years and it wasn't until I joined this Forum that I have heard negative feed back on it being either illegal or unethical (granted downloading the entire server from a bath house seemed to me to be somewhat different). One poster stated I was stealing from OnlyFans models, but I was in contact with one performer who told me he sold his entire collection to torrents that was made up to a certain date, and he said he has no issue with downloading his sold movies as he feels he has been fairly compensated. Granted I reached out to him on Twitter (when it was under different ownership) however I can 't say honestly I asked each guy individually if he had a problem with it. I am curious how their movies end up there in the first place? I don't see an "upload" button under the list of movies so somehow torrents is obtaining them. I guess I'll keep comments regarding torrents to myself from now on, it seems to be the dirty little secret that people know about but few admit to participating in. I wonder just how many people (especially those who came online in the early 2000s) have active accounts but won't admit to it. But I will follow the forum rules here, I wouldn't know how to upload material anyway yet I see many photos or still shots posted by others and I have always wondered why those are allowed. Again, I had no plans doing that here but it does make me wonder when I see phots in galleries and it is clear that the pics posted are not the member, why is that okay? Those pics had to come from somewhere.........

Question.......when I first joined about a year ago a very nice moderator told me that discussing "torrents" was some what prohibited. I have seen it mentioned in the past and I was curious as to what the situation is now. I was told certain production companies (Lucas Entertainment, etc.) were aggressive in prosecuting those who downloaded from that site. What I have found is it is not the actual downloading, but the sharing of files, that gets you in trouble legally. Can you tell me what you know persoanally? Lucas Entertainment (and Corbin Fisher for that matter) have a reputation for going after individuals, but if you download and then erase that video from your torrents streaming platform, how can they track an individual down and what, if you know, are the consequences?

Wow, do we have a lot in common. I got bounced from a Zoom room for partying, and Skype for having sex in a group where I thought that was the reason we were all there. WTF? I'll say this regarding those parties. If you go to the one's closest to you geographically, you are going to see and find guys that you often see on hook uo sites in your area and that's fine. It's like "speed fucking" like the old fashioned "speed dating" you might see on some cheesy movie. However most guys want to spend just a limited about of time with someone because they are always afraid they will miss out on someone hotter. Now, going to one in a city where you don't know anyone - that's the deal! You're the new guy, many want to find out who you are and what you are into, so I suggest going on "road trips" and making it like a 4 day weekend. You can exchange numbers so when the "party" ends that evening, you still have a bunch of other options to play with. Are these parties worth it? They are what you make them, I know Barebackrt will list those whose invitation has been accepted so you have an idea as to the top/vers/bttm ratio that should be in attendance. Don't have your heart set on one guy, probably he won't be there. DON'T be fashionably late either because all the hot guys may have cum and gone by the time you get there. It amazes me the invite attendees often are people you never normally see online, barebackrt.com is notorious for that scenario. But having a whole bunch of guys to choose from seems to get the ultra-hotties to come out. I guess they are pretty much "booked-in-advance" on a normal weekend.

In 2009 I flew from Tampa, Florida to Vancouver, Canada to spend 5 days (actually evenings) with a married law enforcement officer. Floridian, gay, the gym. Yep, I go. In my 20s and 30s I did it because it got me laid more, I did the entire extreme dieting, high protein, "assistance from my doctor". Now I do it because I want to prevent heart disease. I also walk two a miles a day. I keep reading articles "sitting is the new smoking" But yeah for gay men who are younger, the gym is a part of life, no doubt.

I just have a question for @rawTOP and I apologize if I am asking the same thing you have heard thirty times. But why is this getting no press coverage, why is it that no one, BESIDES YOU, is telling us that certain sites will be blocked. I live in the land of DeSatan (Florida) who he would be the first governor or legislature to try a stunt like this, but I am surprised that there is little or no media coverage. What about all those who pay for a hook up site like Grindr, are they going to have to use a VPN in those states or just understand their state is taking their hard earned money from them, because most sites are not free? I contracted MRSA in my right big toe. Initially, I never knew I had it. I had tripped over a desk chair in the dark and thought I had just cracked the toe nail. But the toe nail never healed. I went to my infectious disease specialist and he had me in a podiatrist office the next day. Apparently had I waited longer the result would have been a nightmare. The podiatrist was incredible, he threatened the company that provides my meds (WellCare is their name) with a lawsuit if they did not give me the medication in pill form. He told them I was within days of losing my foot. If he had not, I would have had to do an intravenous drip for I don't know how long to get better, and there was no guarantee the drip would work in time. I remember riding home with a friend from Walgreens and I looked at the cost for a month of the medication (and I am sorry I can't remember the name) was something like $3,300, and this was back around 2010. But this is the important part of my post. The podiatrist told me MRSE was everywhere, in a gym shower, on pool surfaces, even "jungle gym" surfaces. He asked me had I traveled out of the country, and how often, did I walk around the resort without shoes, all of which I answered yes. MRSA seems to like wet, warm areas, at least he thought that was how I came into contact with it. He told me he had two kids, like in the 8 to 12 age range, and that their pediatrician informed him that even gym equipment in expensive private schools, their locker rooms, can have MRSA. I wouldn't even have mentioned it to my primary care physician but I was planning to travel again, be around a pool, and I didn't want people to see my horrible toe. Glad I am a vain individual, I can't imagine losing a foot. So for those of you who have read @highcountrybb post he is not kidding, the smallest cut can become gruesome, and if you think you have been exposed to MRSA call your doctor ASAP.

I don't care what others think, I go with science. I am not going to die, or be disfigured, or harmed in any way. The same go with Hepatitis A, though it may be somewhat different. If you guys want to get infected, go ahead! Be my guest! But WATCH THE POLITICAL LANDSCAPE, because many of those elected may not give a DAMN about you and you may die a slow and agonizing death, because they will brainwash their followers to deny you medical benefits that, in the past, you would have assumed you would have received. THINK ABOUT IT GUYS! I am not trying to deny ANYONE their right to sexual freedom, but PLEASE think about it, because I would not want to be in a situation because, baby, it is not going to be pretty.

I have to admit, in all honesty, I am scared. When I first arrived here I did not think much about politics, yet I was a Federal employee. I have been a Federal employee all my working life. I never thought about Republicans and Democrats, I NEVER THOUGHT PERIOD. See, that is the problem, someone in their 20a who does not care much, does not understand how their lack of involvement can shape the results of what might come for all gay people in the future. I am not preaching, I know some posters may think I am not speaking for the majority. But am I am scared? HELL YES, and do I know what will happen in 2024, I don't know. I am willing to be screamed at by veteran posters, I am educated yet stupid. But DeSantis and the rest of them scare the hell out of me and I am willing to admit to that..... So, with that being said, anyone have any suggestions regarding my lack of involvement? Frankly, I am damn embarrassed. I should know better....
