I have been jabbed so many times for Covid that the white card they gave out once the vaccine was available is completely full. I was boosted in October and the pharmacist laughed telling me I no longer need the card. I keep it, just in case, next to my passport. But here is my point. I have traveled nationally and internationally since the vaccine because available. I have been on planes and cruise ships with thousands of people. I have NEVER ONCE gotten Covid. I have come in contact with thousands of people and not once have I become ill. Why? I continue to follow guidelines, I am not going down some rabbit hole. I want to live my life and not have it halted by a virus.

I have sex with more guys who identify as being straight then do as gay. I am like you, I just take it as it comes, and I don't ask questions. Yeah they tell you it's a "dry" heat in Palm Springs in June, only to find that it is a 110 F.. and they have to open "cooling" locations for the homeless. Dry heat my ass, it's fucking hot. The problem with hotels in Rio is security and at two different upscale hotels I was told I could not take unregistered guests to my room. They said my chances of being robbed were high and they could not take the security risk. But there was an alternatives. I would not call Inn Leather "Methy". There are tons of places to stay that all all gay, and clothing optional, and I am sure there is meth use going on there as well. People actually voted for this kind of behavior and actions, and now it is here. It's not as if we didn't have a clue that he would try to take everything apart ......we did. I just wonder how many AIDS related programs (such as ADAP, for the uninsured or underinsured) will be eliminated if he is appointed? I know there is currently a "pause" on many social service programs and that is not at his direction AT THE MOMENT, but his whack job theories on the causes of multiple illnesses as well as vaccines (most of which he is now denying) really worries me. Granted the elimination of these programs will not have his signature on the memo, but he will have input into their importance. There are so many programs that the average American (not just those with HIV or AIDS) take for granted, that should he be appointed these may "go away". Over the years, I can speak from personal experience I have benefited from multiple programs that provided basic needs. Not things that afforded me some kind of luxurious lifestyle but just having access to copays being covered, utilities being turned on, dental assistance and access to food being increased. Granted some of the programs were run by the state I live in but it was a "trickle down" effect, managed by local and state agencies. The bottom line is, these programs were funded by some sort of Federal assistance. People can say, oh no it came from my state, my state gave me those benefits. Not really. If this moron gets into power he may give his input to those who will eliminate many of the programs that assist a number of people on this Forum. Let's hope and pray (if you pray) he's not confirmed.
