I don't think they missed the point at all. They just have a different frame of reference than you do. WE know that we like having sex with men. We know THEY like having sex with men. We just don't know why it is "better" with the married guy than with the gay guy. (...and some have, rightfully, pointed out that that's NOT always the case). I think it's equal parts guilt/shame for enjoying it so much or for cheating, but i ALSO think it's that freedom of just getting to be a man and fucking instead of "making love".
