  1. Hey men- an old story but it is Friday ( 5 Aug 2022) and WhtHole's writing always helped coax a load or 3 out of me. For new guys to the site, do go back and find his writings- there are about 20 or more stories posted, and all flow thru to the end of the story. None of the abandoned after 2 chapters syndrome.
  2. Well, when I tried your formula ,I kept coming up with Pi are squared, and of course that could only mean rhubarb, but that is out of season right now, so I went out to the kitchen and had a dish of strawberry ice cream. What was the question again?
  3. Perhaps a fair number of them are hard core drinkers and/or partiers who binge for multiple days at a time. If that was the case, they wouldn't have a clue what was fucking them one weekend, then 7 or 9 days later they find someone who wants to have extended sessions and the guy gets spun again, as he is rashing up and unaware. By the end of a 2 or 3 day session, with however many other guys all twisted. Hell, by the tiime he is coming down, the sores are hurting like all hell, and the guy smokes some more to take the edge off, and the cycle continues
  4. In the for whats it worth department- as screwed up as Flori-duh! is and is known for, the county health department in Broward County (Ft Lauderdale,Wilton Manors, Oakland Park among the cities ) wins 5 gold stars. They offered monkeypox vaccine at the Pride Center 10 days ago- and the available time slots were all taken in an hour! ( the men are being responsible here, to an extent) With the aid of the Wilton Manors city folk, the health department opened up 2 additional monkeypox shot administration sites and the turn out has been resounding. I went yesterday and the entire process was in and done under 20 minutes, with the follow up shot appointment scheduled as you left. They were also still offering-suggesting men get the Hep A and the meningitis shots if they had not already. And they had covid vax available for those desiring a booster, or 1st or 2nd shot. Orderly, no waits, and totally non judgemental by any of the team; they really do have a desire to stop this in its tracks. So, my nurse gave me the shot, and honestly I didn't even feel the needle stick, just a little pressure as the vax was injected. 24 hours since, and no sore arm, no side effects, if anything, I actually seemed to have a slight boost of energy yesterday afterwards. I know guys are lining up for the shot, for those who are reluctant to get the vaccine, please- save yourself from the pain and discomfort ( a bud was telling of one of his friends who had to be admitted to the hospital for IV pain treatment when he developed pox in his anus- any and every movement was a trigger for extreme pain.)
  5. Hmm somehow tie February and VD (Valentines Day) into one bundle- with VD and other STI's... might work, but you need to work the floral and candy industry in to the program too . Say no to infections, just buy more confections. Or, give a box ofcandy this month, not a case of chlymedia . And of course the florists could offer up- let our rosebuds bloom, not your grooms...
  6. Not too much info that will help you, but a friend who is in Germany sent me a crowdsourced link, for US monkeypox vax sites- way too long to copy and paste- I suspect part of it would be truncated- but do a search for " monkeypox vaccination access project" It has info by state , where there is any info at all ( Surprise!! Nothing for places like Alabama, Mississippi,Tennessee..well, you get the idea) But in addition to US State info, it has a resources link at the bottom which may help some of you guys in those news deserts that refuse to mention this topic. Oh, and just a FYI- he wrote that there are 1000 cases in Berlin
  7. You understood the idea - I was going to reply to hntnhole 's post the other day and got sidetracked, and now your post has donut written in it twice and what was the question again? lol
  8. If the reaction displayed during covid is any guidance, I'd say about 2 days for the piggiest among us, and 4 months for the more reserved. Seriously tho, the one sobering thing monkeypox has going for it is it can be scarring, and is much more visible to others when it is present. As many men on here have their teeth whitened, or butt implants (or cock) or insist they need testosterone injections so they can have massive muscles so they look "good", I do think the scar/blister aspect may actually work in humanities favor for once.
  9. I just read thru all the posts in this thread dating from early/mid May up to today, 16 July. Some back in May poo-poo'ed the virus as nothing, or media hype. We never learn. In the early 80's men ,gay men, were dying. And still people went head first into the sex venues in large cities, and guys out in the midwest/ rural areas lived under the belief that they were safe, it was only happening in big gay city spaces, not in Iowa or Alabama. They were wrong. Just recently, covid was an unknown. And it wasn't in the (fill in your country, , for me the US) Then the 1st case was diagnosed, but everyone was told it was contained and not an issue. They were wrong then, too. Hell, in my country, we even had an idiot in chief suggest it would "just fade away by Easter" Tho, in all fairness, he never said which YEAR by Easter, so maybe by 2040.... So from where I live in South Florida, the news folk began talking about monkeypox in mid May, and by the last week in May the Ft Lauderdale area had its first case, then 2 more. And still we have guys bending over pool tables in the bar day after day, and now, as of 2 days ago, Broward County, where Ft Lauderdale is, has 98 cases, Miami area has 26. Our Pride Center and county health department ran a monkeypox vaccination clinic this past week, and within 1 hour of putting the link up to reserve a shot time- all available slots were taken. At least , it seems, a lot of the gay men here have taken some responsibility for protecting themselves. Maybe , just maybe, there is hope.
  10. Hmm, just an idea- what if you used the wrist glow stick of sexual choice, and before snapping it on the wrist you punctured thru a condom and then put it on your wrist-- the busted rubber ought to be easy enough to spot or in a much darker setting, felt as hands fumble and explore
  11. I would think the thing to do would be to message the original poster first and see if 1} they are still even on the site and 2} if they would prefer you not, or agree to let you pick up the thread. In a lot of cases, I suspect the original writer has moved on from the site, or from this planet- and if that is the case, I might suggest the thing to do is put up a post at the last entry in that story posting explaining the original author is no longer available to continue, and in the desire to keep the story going, you would be starting the writing process soon. If guys have the story on follow, this will bring it back in their focus and perhaps give you positive feedback and ideas to persue.
  12. Probably underused because finding a navy blue polka dot hanky is impossible ! Paisley ones abound, but dots are rare. And really, those of us who grew up with the hanky code cannot see well enough to thread a needle and hem a piece of fabric from JoAnn's to make our own .lol
  13. Well, in the ongoing thread of vaccinations, the Pride Center here in Wilton Manors / Ft Lauderdale was hosting another shot clinic for the upcoming week ( July 11th 2022) for Hep A, meningitis, and covid. Just got an updated email from the Center, and in light of the current outbreak of monkeypox, the Broward Health Dept is also going to be offering a shot for that. Florida is now #4 in the country for cases, and of the 88 in the state, Broward , as of today, has 53 cases, Miami has 15 cases.
  14. Just a follow up to my post above-- the demand has been so strong for the vax's that the Pride Center (Wilton Manors/Ft Lauderdale FL) and Health Dept are doing another shot clinic this month offering Hep A, Meningitis, and covid shots, and this time it is being done with a preset appointment time- so any of my gay brothers here in South Florida, esp in the Oakland Park, Wilton Manors, Ft Lauderdale greater area, no excuses!! Make the appointment and do something proactive for your health. Fucks sake-- you can go to the bar and stay bent over a pool table for an hour hoping to take a dick or 2, you ought to be able to spare a few minutes to try and stem Hep A and meningitis from racing through the community.
  15. Wow, that not only is rude, but I TOTALLY disagree. But here is the real thing- how many stories have YOU written and put up on here for everyone to read? Zero? Denver is taking the time and effort to contribute something for our enjoyment. So you do not like the story, or the addition of pictures- read someone elses contribution that you find stimulating- or again, better yet- put up or shut up. What your post may well have done is deter someone else from submitting a story or rough draft of an idea they have. Yeah, some of the writers who put up stories for us to enjoy have typo's or syntax errors-- but I appreciate ( and I would venture to say a lot of the other men on here do as well) the effort and attempt. To DenverHandyMan- I have been enjoying the story and DO hope you will continue producing chapters for us. I am anxious and eager to see where you , Phil ,Tyler, and who knows who else ( the entire baseball team??LOL) end up in this plot. THANK YOU for the time and effort- and please, feed me another chapter- I need to bust another load out !
  16. If you got your shot a number of years ago, you might want to look into getting a booster shot. Check with your doc or health department, but here in Broward Co FL the health dept is using 5 years as a refresh timeline
  17. Ft Lauderdale here. The Pride Center in Wilton Manors ( a community/city in the Ft Lauderdale region, and the gay center) in conjunction with the county health department, offered a free vaccination clinic last week offering Covid, Hep A, and meningitis vaccinations . It had 40 men in line within 15 minutes of the start, and took the health department folk by surprise- they thought they might see 50 men in 4 hours. To their credit, they called in a couple extra nurses, and made extra handouts, and handled the crowd. I went for the meningitis shot, and while it took a bit of time to get processed to the back where the shots were being administered, once there the county nurse was amazing. She saw I was there for the meningitis shot only, and alerted me the Hep A was also available, and told me it was as big if not bigger/older issue in South Florida. When I told her I wasn't aware if I had ever gotten the Hep A shot, she logged into the data base and pulled up my health department history. All vaccinations, done at drug stores, doctors offices, or health fairs, are supposed to be reported to the data base, and she quickly identified I had not had the Hep A shot, so I got it as well. Neither shot hurt ( great nurse helps) and I had no soreness or side effects the next day. I absolutely hope every sexually active man takes the time to get this shot. OH- as an aside- I posted in a different thread about meningitis on this site about the front desk woman at my doctors office telling me men over 65 were not in need of the shot. I mentioned this to the nurse who was giving me the shot, who burst out laughing and in her Jamaican lilt said- You're a man who has sex, why would she think you couldn't get exposed. And then she called out to the coordinator from the health department and told her what I had said. They agreed a visit and some educating was in order for his office and staff. BTW- if you have HAD a Hep A shot but not within 5 years, a refresher shot is The Pride Center in Wilton Manors also hosted a panel discussion the next night to educate and answer all the questions about another issue erupting here- monkey pox. If anyone wants to see that, it is on the Pride Center's facebook page. 18. Damn, I did some searching after getting the name of the resort, and only then realized it was not the Flamingo I stayed at, but the Suncoast Resort (tho I suspect there was little difference between the 2 places, except maybe the distance to a Dollar General . And I see now the Flamingo has shut down, and a new hotel/resort is being developed in the 2300 block of Central. I may just have to do the drive to explore it once the dust settles
  19. Oh hell- I was well on the way to piglife by the time I had gotten enough balls to hit a bath house. Back at that time, I kept a count of how many guys I had experienced, and by the time I was finishing my 1st year of college there were at least 300 different guys I could count as sex players. The tubs just blew the numbers way up ( and being 20 and insatiable certainly helped) And might have also explained my overall GPA average lol. And while I slowed down during the 80's it was more because I had settled down with a partner and we were striving to be monogamous at first. At some point I stopped tracking my " fresh catch count", I do know it was over 5,000 10 years ago , today, who knows. Work and life and pandemics all have cut into the action, not to mention the drag on play that is the internet. So many of the guys now just scroll and jack- when I was getting action as a younger man, it was a direct and immediate scene in a park or bookstore or porn theater. Even if the other person was only somewhat interested, it usually was more of, well hell, I am here and he is available and I need to fuck and get back to work, so lets do it.
  20. Damn, I stayed there once in the late 90's for a weekend on the drive from TN to Ft Lauderdale, but definitely did not have anything even a little close to that. But thanks for refreshing my brain cells- I have not been able to recall the name of that place for a couple of decades!
  21. I went to college in NYC in the mid 70's, from rural upstate- so to say there was a culture shock would be an understatement. And not the gay aspect- I had been taking dick for about 4 years at that point- but the endless buffet of places to get sex was a big change.Times Square was still a porn haven, bookstores and glory holes and actual gay movie theaters ( Adonis was always my favorite tho) And one day in the college library, I was reading the Village Voice weekly, and read about some performer who had performed at the Continental Baths, a gay place up on the edge of Harlem. I likely was hard as a rock reading about the place, but still, I had those lingering adolescent fears- would I know what to do there, would I stand out like a sore thumb, would anyone even be interested. Finally one Friday night I had built up enough courage and made my way to the Continental. I definitely felt out of place as the train went further towards Harlem and once on the street, I really felt like I " wasn't in Kansas anymore Toto". A bit of a walk, and I arrived at the Continental. Some guy at the window questioned me and asked if I knew this was a bathhouse, a GAY bathhouse. I told him I had read about it in the Voice, and wanted to check it out. After he semi explained the cost and the deal, I had my room key and a towel and directions to the room. It was pretty dark in the hallway to my room, just a bit off the showers and the wet area, and a lot of guys hanging around and dealing. I went in the room and closed the door, stripped and put the towel on and stepped out. The pool area was also where a stage was if memory serves me- and I was a little surprised to see M/F couples sitting at tables there. I went back to the room, passing the gauntlet of guys pushing weed ( I think that was all they were offering, but again, naive rural boy me) . I sat in there for 5 minutes, then dressed and headed upstairs to leave. The guy at the counter looked up as I approached, chuckled, and said "yeah, I didn't think you would last very long. This isn't your type of club, where you need to be is at the Club Baths down on Houston St"- and then he handed me back my ID and money, and gave me directions as to which subway lines I needed to get there. I actually did go directly there, and while I do not remember the various encounters of that 1st night; it was my launching ground for many, many nights there and at tubs in cities around the world since.
  22. Making all that noise in a dorm room- I bet he becomes more popular in the showers as time progresses LOL
  23. I wish there was such a thing- I would have been wearing one countless times at work when I went to the urinals to piss- esp the one 30 something who always had his phone in one hand, flopped his cock out with the other, and then , using the hand/arm he just freed his cock with, would use his arm to rest on the wall above the urinal. If I tried this, I imagine my cock would have pulled back inside my shorts and I would have ended up pissing my shorts instead lol
  24. I hope you guys bargained hard for a lavish compensation package, and are enjoying those Lamborghini's you got as a signing bonus. ! Corner offices for everyone
  25. I had to stop by my GP's office the other day for a script renewal, and while they twiddled about trying to get it written, I asked about the meningitis shot, and if the office was administering them. The woman told me," Oh, you don't need to worry about getting one, it is aimed at college age kids and younger age groups ( OUCH!) but not for people 65 and up (OUCH OUCH-GDammit, I just turned 65 this year) since they are not as sexually active" I really DO need to find a new doctor/office that is more in tune with their patients..
