The 56 Dean Street clinic in London's Soho sent out the names and email addresses of 780 patients when a newsletter was issued to people who attend the clinic. Patients were supposed to be blind-copied into the email but instead details were sent as a group email. Importantly, the article says further down that that the list didn't leak individual's HIV status as it contained names of people who attended the clinic, not just those who are HIV positive.

I live in the shires, just outside London - on a bad day my nearest Grindr guy can be 3-5 miles away. I realise that to get what I want I might have to travel (usually into London), so I don't mind travelling (sometimes 100's of miles) to get what I want, but some guys won't even talk to you because you're more than a half a mile away. I'm not sure how you change that behaviour but I think it's part of the instant gratification culture we live in. I find the saunas, clubs and bars much more successful places to hook up - it's just a shame so many have closed as things like Grindr have come in.

I've seen guys in clubs wear football (soccer) socks and stuff small items in them. The only problem, as I am a bit of a foot/sock/sneaker fetish guy, is they are not keen for you to play down there as they think you might be on the rob. The smartphone/grindr/scruff thing in clubs is rife in London and i hate it. I was in the cellar at central station the other night and there were about half of the guys playing on their phones. Even the barman!
