    Hogging the sling is rude. Everyone should get a chance. That said, I have observed this pattern with myself. I spend a little some time in the sling. Another bottom gets in. By the time I have made a loop of the place they have moved on, and I find the sling empty. I make a second loop and find the sling still empty, so I climb back in.     There is a second more important error in thought we need to address. When you take a raw load from a poz top, that is like reaching into a bag with 70 white marbles and 1 red marble; that is a 1 in 71 chance of drawing the red marble. The next time you take a load, it is still a bag with 70 white and 1 red not 69 white and 1 red (assuming you didn't get pozzed). The second load has the same probability as the first. The trials are independent. Over time that makes a huge difference. In other words, you can take 71 loads and never get pozzed. It isn't like each time you take a load you make a poz load more likely.

    This is NOT correct. That assumes the chance of the virus being passed on without PrEP is 100%. PrEP decreases your risk by more than 99%. At the worst case (poz top cums inside you), the chance of infection taking is about 1.43% (1 in 70). So PrEP decreased your risk to .0143% which is a probability of 0.000143. It's closer to 1 in 7000 than 1 in 100.

    To be clear it is absolutely true that more anonymous sex increases your risk of contracting HIV and that undetectable partners are safer. BUT the chance of being infected while taking PrEP daily after 7-10 days is so infinitesimally small that the amount of increase is hardly noticeable.

    I stopped using condoms completely around 1995. There were two ten year periods when I was taking loads from whoever offered them (1995-2005 and 2011 - 2021, my boyfriend later husband and I were monogamous from 2005 - 2011). In that time, I was diagnosed with syphilis once in 2013. That is the only STI I have had. Admittedly, I wasn't very good at getting regularly tested until I started PrEP in 2014. The doctor at first had me coming in every 3 months. After several rounds of testing with no STIs, he dropped me back to every 4 and then eventually every 5 months. I do live in a rural area although I normally make excursions to bigger cities every year (New Orleans, Dallas, and Austin mainly).
