Staying at CCBC for the LA Bears event. Also hoping to make it to Cumunion that weekend too. Basically looking for any and all kinds of nasty raw pig sex while I'm there. Anyone interested in hooking up? Reply here or shoot me a private message.

A setup for what, exactly? No laws are being broken, unless money's changing hands. Sodomy laws went out the window with Lawrence v. Texas. And if someone in your family or at work really wants to know if you're messing around with guys, there are a hell of a lot easier ways to go about it than manufacturing some hookup online. Fundamentally though, it's a question of what's stronger. Your horniness or your fear of potential consequences. Guys come out of the closet in the first place because all of the other considerations (wanting to fuck other guys, yes, but also integrity, being tired of sneaking around all the time, etc.) outweighs any fears of how people will react. And a lot of guys actually get off on the thrill that comes with overcoming those fears. It's the same reason we get off on other stupid shit like riding motorcycles or skydiving.

Anna Nicole, is that you?

Poz Guys - Do you have any online profiles that say you're neg?
PhoenixGeoff replied to rawTOP's topic in General Discussion
Where is the embarrassment located? In being attracted to men? In being open to sex outside of a relationship? In engaging in "risky" sex? In being poz? I'm trying to figure out how a guy who's comfortable with announcing online that he's all of the former nevertheless has problems with admitting to having HIV. Simple matter of respect. I can understand that there are circumstances where you don't have to bring up status. A guy shoving his cock through a gloryhole and letting you ride it doesn't need you to pass him a quick note through the hole telling him your status before you bend over and get plowed. But actively lying about your status is another matter altogether. If someone asks you if you're poz, then tell the truth. Maybe he's asking because he's poz and he doesn't want to bareback with someone neg. Or maybe he'll move on and fuck someone else. Who cares? It's not like you're losing out on a 20 year relationship over this. Another horny guy will be along in a few minutes. -
I like your attitude. It's basically the same way I approach sex myself. Except that I love getting fucked just as much as fucking. Gotta say, you're giving me quite the hardon right now. During Decadence especially, it's never too early. Go, and have some fun. Then come back and tell us all about it.

AlwaysOpen had a lot of good advice. I'll second a lot of what he said. Assuming you catch it early on, they probably won't recommend meds for a little bit. I don't suggest doing what AlwaysOpen did and waiting for your T-cells to drop that low. Below 250 or so, you really start opening yourself up to opportunistic infections. Also, treating HIV earlier seems to result in better long-term outcomes, which is why the CDC is currently strongly recommends treatment if you CD4 count (T-cells) drops below 350, and suggests treatment for those with CD4 counts between 350 and 500. The medications today are considerably easier to take than the way things used to be in the past. Generally speaking, you take three different medications that each target a different part of HIV's lifecycle. Every medication does have its side effects and drawbacks, so it often takes a little experimentation to find the set that works best for you. You really have to work closely with your doctor, especially at the beginning, to figure out what is the best way for you to treat it. Don't be afraid to report side effects that are hard to handle. There are almost always better alternatives. You do really have to consider what your health insurance situation is if you're American. Your best bet as of right now is to work for a large corporation that will have a big pool of people covered by health insurance. You'll need to plan things out in advance a bit and take full advantage of things like Flexible Spending Accounts. Working for a smaller company (like a small law firm) can be problematic, because health insurance companies can and do pressure smaller companies to fire employees that run up the bills. They're not supposed to do it, but they do. Your other alternative is to go on some kind of public assistance. If you're living in an urban area, there's almost certainly an HIV/AIDS group that can help with navigating that. But there are income limits and suchlike, which means that if you are working for a smaller company or for yourself, your expenses can skyrocket. A buddy of mine is a contractor who buys his own insurance on the private market. He routinely complains about his premiums getting jacked up by hundreds of dollars per month every time his policy gets renewed. The Healthcare Reform Act is supposed to fix this by stopping insurers from considering pre-existing conditions, but we'll see how that works out. So life does become more complicated. You have to pay attention to a lot of things that you didn't have to before. Looking at the guys who do well with HIV, they tend to take care of themselves better, including cutting back on drinking (HIV meds tend to be hard on the liver), cutting out recreational drugs (many are very hard on the immune system), eating better, exercising, getting lots of sleep. Basically, all the stuff you know you're supposed to be doing but that few of us actually do. Does it cut back on the sex drive? Not that I've seen. Yes, many men have declining sex drives once they start aging, but plenty don't. And the guys who get HIV seem to start out with pretty high sex drives in the first place. So I wouldn't worry about that too much. (There are some men with HIV who do get declining testosterone levels for reasons that aren't really all that clear. If you have insurance, they will usually cover testosterone replacement therapy. Basically you inject yourself with it every few weeks). So yeah: good news is, it's not a death sentence. And you'll continue leading a pretty ordinary life, by whatever standards you use to define "ordinary." Bad news is that if you want it to keep working out that way, you're going to have to be more proactive about your health care, may have to make a few lifestyle changes, and will have greater medical expenses. Bottom line: I was never much of a "chaser" myself, just really into barebacking and quite a bit of a slut. I've been living with HIV for almost ten years now and can't really say that I've had any real regrets about it.

Not everyone's into the twinks. Frankly, I'd much rather have a guy like you than a skinny hairless 20 year old kid. (No offence to the kids on the board)
-
Dude, you sound fuckin hot as hell to me. I'd go down on you in a fuckin heartbeat. Go on down there. During Decadence, you'll get more attention than you can handle.

I actually really like this. I love gloryholes but they have a couple drawbacks. When I'm on top, I can't really fuck as hard and deep as I'd like to through the hole. And sometimes the layout is just really diffficult for a good fuck. Besides, there have been a few times when I've been going at it with another guy in a booth and looked over and seen someone else watching us through the gloryhole. That's fun.

Tops: What Status Bottom Turns You On The Most? Poz/Neg/Unsure?
PhoenixGeoff replied to rawTOP's topic in General Discussion
To the extent that I care (and I'm gonna be pretty happy with my raw cock buried in a hot guy's ass regardless), I prefer poz guys. That's because you usually don't become poz unless you're a pretty huge pig. And pigs turn me on big time. -
Damn, that's intense. Probably not quite my style though

I didn't know they had blacklight ink for tattooing. That sounds like a really good idea...doing something that just turns up under the right lighting. I'll have to look into that.

I am so confused right now

I am so stealing that. -
Young twinks don't generally do much for me, but I'd love to be in on a scene like this...watching the other guys drilling him and then taking my turn. As for my own fantasies, way too many to list out here. I like a lot of what I've read. Group scenes, anonymous scenes, sex in bars, parks, baths, slings, flip fucking, truckstops, in every conceivable position and situation, often with one kink or another included. The sight of a dark room, the smell of sex, the groaning all around me, the feel of another man's body. I'm just glad that men are such imaginative pigs. It's what's kept me whoring around for the last 20-odd years.

Would you still keep your status if there was a cure?
PhoenixGeoff replied to bacchi1486's topic in General Discussion
Depends on what that treatment was like. For instance, I've seen people go through the treatment for hep C. Not pretty at all. So if it was like that, I probably wouldn't take advantage unless I was sure I'd be giving up my slutty ways more or less for good. On the other hand, if it were like the treatment for most bacterial STDs, a short course of antibiotics or the like, then I'd probably go for it. I'm not ashamed of my status or how I got it. Neither do I particularly view it as something I take great pride in. It is what it is: a virus and a consequence of engaging in the kind of activities I enjoy. -
I was reading the scorpion tattoo thread, and thought I might solicit a few suggestions from my fellow pigs here. I'm approaching a fairly major birthday here in a few months, and I've decided that one thing I'm going to do, that I've always wanted to do is get some ink. My problem is that I've always known I wanted to get something done, but the question was always what. Now, I definitely want this to incorporate some things that are important to me. There'll be a few milestones in my life worked into the design that I don't need to go over here. But I'm also looking for suggestions for what would look good on me and where I should get it (I have some pretty revealing pics posted on my profile here, so feel free to take a look). Also, nobody say a biohazard tatt. That's already on the list. If I see a suggestion I like, I'll take a picture and post it when it's done.

There is only one bareback rule. Don't let a rubber touch you. That is all. Seriously, this guy either thinks that you'd enjoy being "made" to follow that rule (and frankly, if it led to him whoring me out, I'd probably hook up with him) which is kind of cool, or he he's trying to pressure you into sex with him even though he knows he's not your type, which is kind of a dick maneuver. On the other hand, if you're advertising on bbrt that you're a real slut but then you turn this guy down as not attractive enough for you, that's kind of a dick maneuver on your part. Yeah, you can be a slut and still have standards, but it's just polite to spell them out in advance. Especially on a site like bbrt where no-one with a free account really wants to waste emails chatting up someone who's not interested.

It makes sense. Whether deserved or not, we Scorpios seem to have a bit of a reputation when it comes to our sex drive (I know I certainly do my best to live up to the billing!). So it's logical that that's the sort of thing that you might want to advertise.

My solution to that is to wear boots. More comfortable, meets the party requirements, and can look pretty damn good on either a top or botttom!

I went several years before buying a car. I bought a '95 Plymouth Neon which was my escape to the gay scene when I was in the Army. Decent gas mileage and took me all over the country, including my first visits to a number of cities, from New Orleans to San Francisco. I'm currently driving the second vehicle I've ever owned, a '99 Dodge Ram pickup, which is looking kinda ugly at this point, but that's OK...so am I. Kinda looks like the one in the picture, except mine's a 1/2 ton.

Whenever I'm browsing ads online or talking to a potential fuck, I'm always turned on when a guy describes himself as a sex pig. Attitude is a big part of what makes a man attractive to me. I like my men slutty, sleazy and insatiable. I've noticed that a lot of guys who present themselves this way often seem to use drugs of various kinds to get into that mindset, whether it's alcohol, poppers or something harder like cocaine or t. And I sometimes wonder if you're really the pig you say you are if you only act that way when you're under the influence. That's not to say I don't enjoy indulging in various substances myself as part of getting into a scene. I most certainly do. And I also recognize the role drugs can play in getting you started down the path to being a pig; the first time I ever got fucked raw and took a load was in a bathhouse after spending a few hours in a bar. But I'm also perfectly happy enjoying a nasty scene with a hot and piggy man (or men!) stone-cold sober. So what are your thoughts on what makes a man a pig? Does he have to be that way by nature? Or does it not matter how he gets in the right frame of mind as long as he's there? I guess I'm really interested in hearing how people define pigginess, not so much a "drugs are bad"/"drugs are awesome" thing.

Versatility: a turn-on or a turn-off?
PhoenixGeoff replied to eurotopnyc's topic in General Discussion
To paraphrase Woody Allen, "Versatility immediately doubles your chances for a date on Saturday night." Oftentimes I just want to get laid. I don't care how and I'm not focused on who does what. I just want sex. Just out of curiosity for guys like eurotopnyc, most versatile guys have absolutely no trouble whatsoever with sticking to just one role or the other for a particular scene. I totally understand someone who's a total top wanting the guy he's with to be a total bottom for him. But what is there about knowing that the guy is only a bottom (or for bottoms, that he's only a top) that really gets you going? -
I actually get very turned on by taking a load from a guy I know has been fucked and bred by a lot of other men. I've got the weird fantasy about Dawson unloading in me just because of all the hot men who have fucked him...sort of a sexual "six degrees of Kevin Bacon" kinda thing LOL

Belfast-Bottom, hotels in the US frequently have minimal staffing overnight, while the main doors are left open to allow guests free access. As long as you walk in and look like you belong there, you're almost never challenged by the clerk on duty. Some hotels have room doors that open directly on to the parking lot, making it even easier to allow visitors in.

Poz Guy Under Arrest In Ontario For Not Disclosing Status
PhoenixGeoff replied to rawTOP's topic in General Discussion
You know, a lot of chasers and "don't care" types have ambivalent feelings about converting. And I think that's legitimate. There's a tension there between fear of infection, the hotness of the sex, all kinds of things. People change their minds, get regrets, so on and so forth. I understand that. HIV is a really big deal, even in 2011. Which all really means that it is incumbent on the poz guy to be absolutely sure everyone involved knows exactly what he's getting into and agrees to it while he is demonstrably free of any coercion whatsoever.
