It makes sense what you are saying and don't find it strange that you like to toy around with the idea of pain as long as you are not the one feeling the pain. I can compare this "pain fetish" with the experience of my "HIV fetish". I don't want HIV so I would never be a chaser but I get off of negative bottoms getting bred by a poz top as long as I'm not that bottom. Same as with pain, fun but not you feeling the pain.
