Gay Days Rescheduled

GayDayS announced April 15 that it will not be moving forward with the summer events originally scheduled June 2-8 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, instead moving its celebration of the 30th anniversary of Gay Day at the Magic Kingdom to Halloween weekend.

Definitely disappointing to hear that the dates were push back. Of course, no one initially know how bad COVID-19 would get. My vacation to Disney was originally scheduled for late March, but push to June 6-10. Best to keep attendees safe now, after Winter Party in early March. 2 attendees and 1 volunteer for Winter Party in Miami Beach contracted and passed away from COVID-19.

This has really put a dent in my travel plans.  I've got 4 months of leave saved up and was really planning on getting down and dirty this year.
