I have been to arcades and theaters both, depending on the place the smells can be strong or not at all. Theaters are great for exabishinists as well as voyers. Usually theaters aren't great places for nudity.

I remember the one one in Pittsburgh on the north side. They had a regular theater, and a room downstairs for the gay videos.  Off to the side they had a dark hallway and you could drop your pants and have a great time.
