How unusual is it for a bottom not to use poppers?

I shied away from poppers for years. They kill my boner if I'm not careful, and even if I'm bottoming I still like to be able to rub out a load while I'm getting fucked.  Too many of the bottles for sale at the local shops turn out to be counterfeit or stale. Then a buddy that I see far too infrequently turned me on to the plain brown bottle that he sourced locally from a NYC leather shop. I got some and haven't looked back. Good stuff, I just have to use it judiciously.

I'm a bottom who does t use poppers. I tried them when I was maybe 18 anid didn't "get " the Rush (pun intended). I tried them again in my 40s. Sane thing.  If anything,  poppers tend to give me a headache.   I usually have to hold my breath if someone nearby or in me is using them.

The same with me. I let Tops have poppers, and I even have some in my fridge for them to use. But I don't like the fragrance and it makes me cough. I need to air the room each time a guy completes to use both me and poppers.

I know bottoms that do not use poppers. It’s a personal choice. I love them and use them all the time. I didn’t use them when I first started getting fucked though. I don’t think I really knew about them and their benefits. They really help when your top is big and you don’t want to waste time with him easing into you. Definitely know bottoms, that just don’t NEED them, and some guys don’t like the side effects.  So ya totally makes sense.
