About 4 days ago I contacted one of the moderators and got a response right away about the chat being down. He doesn’t use it much and so did not notice anything unusual. His response was that it was down for him as well, after he checked it out. So I figured it was now brought to the attention of the moderators at least.
In my opinion, from experience with my own questions,  the moderators and even rawTOP, himself on one occasion, do respond right away to questions. They may not know exactly the reason for a technical glitch, but they are on the mark for responding to queries. 
I think the old adage ‘patience is a virtue’ should be exercised when dealing with a website that none of us pay for.

Sorry to now hear that rawTOP is unwell and in hospital. Best wishes for a speedy recovery.

I will further note: there are multiple threads in this particular forum about the drawbacks of the chat system here - which, as has been noted, is a third-party piece of software that only barely integrates into this site. My impression is that it's not a priority of the software maker to update it or improve it, if it's even being supported any longer.

That said: RawTop has for some time been working on a new version of this site, which is expected to be fresh from the ground up and which is planned to include a much-improved chat function. But it's a work in progress and not "due" out any time soon.

Yeah, no chat room here on my end either,  but a month or so ago I couldn't get to the site at all,  some other company was showing up, saying that porn was restricted in 2 different states,  one state was Mississippi and the other was Arkansas I believe,  but I dont live in neither state so why did that happen?🤔

Do you use a VPN when connecting to the Internet?

If so it could have been routing through an IP in one of those states

I see a chat room on my computer, but it doesn’t appear on my iPhone. I’ve never tried to use it.
