    Noted. I don't disagree with you. In hindsight, when I posted that I was still emotional from just learning the news and disappointed at the results. I would however say that having "no symptoms" is no reason not to get tested as often as one perhaps should.

    This illustrates perfectly my frustration with the lack of personal responsibility. Today, I got the results of last week's STI testing. I was given chlamydia. It has ruined my day. Why lie? I guess it's easier than taking personal responsibility for ones self and ones decisions. While my day is ruined, my life is not. I know the risks to receiving any man who desires to mount me and while I do NOT like nor enjoy the consequences, I certainly do not fetishize them, nor desire them, nor do I want to share them. I deal with them. In what I hope is an adult and responsible way. For me, bareback is more fun without the bugs and the diseases.

    Went for STI testing today and got a second opinion. In that process, I realized I did use a different lube recently which probably caused an outbreak. Not sure the context the OP @bonsaisai hand in mind...but for me: In the context of oral sex, I thought people asked this question because of some people's unexplainable and/or allergic reaction to actually have cum in their mouth. I never understood this, but thought that is why it was "polite" to ask.     "This" killed the sex in my relationship. My partner (still my partner today) only expresses an interest or desire to fuck me (aka have sex) when it is spontaneous. He has some personal issues with planning and commitment. So, we can't "plan" to have sex (because he can't guarantee he will be "in the mood") and he has gotten one too many UTI (urinary tract infections) from have a small dick (short urethra) and the inevitable run-in with poo and bacteria. And...spontaneous won't even allow me 30-45 min for a quick douche - because again the mood may have already passed before I would be "ready"... This is an impossible situation, don't you think?     Since you're just soliciting opinions...my 2 cents: The guys (who dabble in "breeding" wink) whom are concerned about the other guy having an equal opportunity to "orgasm" or something akin to this; is coming from a good place. I believe in this instance the top is trying to be considerate, thoughtful, etc. I think the intent is nice, but it IS Mis-placed. The above intent, concern, however you describe it, makes sense and I can appreciate that in a monogamous relationship; this would be the norm for many monogamous reasons. In a "breeding" context - it really is dumb for the Top to "care" about the bottom cumming. IMHO context is everything.
