    First off you dont sound ugly, I know I would probably hit you up in a second. lol. For me I am more attracted to black men than other races. For myself I dont consider this a fetish. A majority of my friends are also black, and I really enjoy many aspects of black culture. With that said for myself, beyond the actual attraction I don't see black men as anything different. Despite what so many profess there dicks still come in big and small like all other races and creeds, as well as tall, short, fat, thin, ugly, and beautiful. The fetishization thing bothers me a lot too. I've had guys say "ohh you want that big black dick", and its a huge turn off for me. This brings me to another point about dick size, etc. The stereotype portrayed by both black and non black people is that black men are fucking machines with big dicks who will always top you, and its just not true. This puts black bottoms at a disservice, because people of other races feel that they are just gonna fuck them with their BBC. As for better places well it really depends. If you truly have no "type" in regards to race, ethnicity, body type, etc, NYC is gonna be your best bet. Its a melting pot, and while many people will still have preferences, people are more open there. Second would be Atlanta. However I only say Atlanta because of the large black population.     Saw this yesterday, Really great news! Im on 7x a week dosing, and almost never miss, so I am REALLY happy to hear these results. One thing I would like to know more of is late dosing, IE if I forget to take it in the morning and take it at night instead if that has any real effect. Im guessing no, but i am still curious. Still what this really does is serve as a model for chemoprophylaxis, hopefully soon we will have longer lasting, month long or more injections or other methods to provide the same benefit.

    I agree fully. Its none of their business for one, but also I dont see why HIV+ guys are not interested in stopping the spread of HIV. Really I dont understand outside of the realm of fantasy why anyone is really interested in spreading HIV. All it does is cause lifelong problems at best. We are NOT talking about raw sex here, I think most people desire to have condomless sex, Thats just a causal factor. HIV killed almost an entire generation of gay men, and even today remains an expensive and time consuming life long disease to deal with. Additionally despite what some on here like to profess HIV doesn't free ANYONE to do what they want sexually. Quite the contrary, if the person is open about their status it limits them, because people often do not want to sleep with an HIV+ person.

    I'm a fairly loud and assertive person, so I haven't heard a lot of the backlash directly from people but i still think its amusing that some of the people that are most at risk are the ones against PrEP. One guy is a young Gay black male, who I fuck raw with. He was up in arms about PrEP saying people are not going to be responsible and they are going to get infected... Ummmm Hello!?!?!

    well you cant become reinfected, you can get other strains, but herpes itself never goes away, but healthy people usually keep it in check without medication.

    Not to be preachy, but if you are scared shitless to test, you might not want to be getting high and taking dick. I bet PrEP will be available in the UK within a year or so, I would calm your activity down until then, so you can stay neg if thats what you want. Its stuff like this why I don't like PNP, or the people that do it. It makes people do things they regret, and then because they feel bad they do more drugs to feel good again. Its a terrible cycle.

    Dont rule it out. Doxyclycline has a 15-25hr half life, and as it built up in your system it may have just reached a critical mass at day 3.

    Quite simply this is HUGE. Until this PrEP has largely been a US idea, or been slowly studied in populations around the Globe.     Im not sure I follow you, but I would say yes they could carry it to you. Also HSV-1 genital infections are becoming more common, so some people are not getting the more virulent HSV-2, but HSV-1 only in the rectum, and urethra. Either way, If a person is having an outbreak, yeah they are passing virus from them to you, and potentially on to other people, even if you dont have an outbreak.

    yeah the last time I took doxycycline it gave me a low grade fever, and made me feel "off" the entire time I was on it. Your body is used to a certain amount of bacteria and antibiotics can really throw that off. http://www.drugs.com/sfx/doxycycline-side-effects.html if you look, joint pain can be a side effect of doxycycline. Still don't look into this too much. if it gets worse or persists, then you want to investigate further. The body is pretty amazing in its ability to heal, sometimes it just needs time. This past winter I had a cough that lasted about a month, no shortness of breath, no other symptoms, no real reason for it to exist, (I dont smoke, I exercise, etc) but it was still there. Took about a month before it disappeared on its own.

    exactly, Im 30, and healthy and I have had days or sometimes a few days where it seems like my body is falling apart. Sometimes I can attribute it to something like a long run, other times, I have no damn clue. Especially being on your feet often, you may have twisted or contorted yourself in a certain way and not even realized it. I've done that too, only to have what seems like awful joint/muscle pain for days after.

    just gonna go out there and say pretty much what everyone posted in this thread is correct. HIV will only complicate your life which is already complicated. try and move out, and get PrEP.

    dont jump to conclusions. Two days of joint pain does not necessarily mean its from the tenofovir. Lots of minor infections, and other medications can cause short term joint pain. You did the right thing in calling your doctor, but i suspect that he will just tell you to give it a few more days and see if it subsides.

    This is true. If anyone recalls I posted a while back about a fuck bud who has consistently low cd4 counts, like in the 200-300 range. He has been undetectable for over 6 years, and was on Atripla within a year of initial infection. From what his doc says some people just have lower numbers and for those people its no big deal. Not everyone, including healthy HIV- people have counts over 1000. In terms of smoking... well I had a family member a while back who was in his mid 50s and was in pretty awful health, drank alot, smoked about 1.5 packs marlboro reds a day, ate like crap and never exercised. He was to his doc, and his doc said he would be dead in less than 3 years if he didnt change... My family member said, "I can quit drinking, or quit smoking, not both" His instant answer was quit smoking. And he did. That was about 10 years ago, and he did quit smoking. Now he still drinks alot, eats a little better, but is actually a lot more active just because he can breath better.

    I say that because I do outreach for PrEP and there are enough programs out there that almost everyone can get it a very low cost. I have a friend who has no income and gets it for free. So its very possible.

    Yeah Ive had that too, only to test neg for STI's. My doctor explained it as excess mucous from the rectal irritation of being fucked.

    Honestly this sounds like complete BS. (like much of this forum) Even a place where a porn shoot occurs is not going to have biohazard bags, and there are almost NEVER going to be at a residential house like you claim. But to answer your question no I have never once had any desire to do such thing.

    Im exactly in this position. It really depends on my mood, and the person, but I average out to be about 50/50. What really ironic about this is many guys will not believe it, and just say I'm a bottom pretending. It doesn't bother me that they think that, and it usually goes away once I fuck them. haha I'm also quite attracted to black men, and most think i just want to get fucked, and while I like it, They are often VERY surprised and happy that I like to top too because so many white guys just expect black men to always be tops.

    So I think this is more of a question for the guys that have experienced it, but i am curious about any opinion. Since starting on PrEP I have taken more dick raw than ever before. I started out slow, but it has gradually increased. Obviously for things STI's in the penis there may be pain or discharge, but I am wondering about what happens for rectal symptoms. I got a full panel a month ago after IML and was clean then, so I dont think I have anything, and have no symptoms now, but am curious what people have experienced. Thanks.
