    many times I have found even if its not negotiated, the top will ask where he should cum. When I top, I usually dont do that, but make sure they are okay with bare before hand. The worst is when a top pulls out and shoots on my back or some crap, what a waste.

    I do some outreach work for PrEP and have talked to many people involved in the effort. One of the major issues that we have encountered in so called "slut shaming" Personally I have never thought much of it, and let peoples words roll off my back, but it is a very real thing. Many guys for whatever reason see PrEP as some sort of cheating for lack of a better word, and they refuse to see the benefit. I have been very open about being on PrEP and have got several friends to start it, and I consider that a success. Many initially called me named like "hoe" in a somewhat joking manner when I told them about it, but after reading up a bit more, several started PrEP. I dont expect feelings to change overnight, but getting the message out is a huge start.

    Theres a TON of stuff I would have done different in my teens and 20's in general life. I wouldnt say they are regrets, but if I had the knowledge I do now I would be in a much better place. Sexually? not much. I'm glad I played it safe enough to stay neg until PrEP came out. I've had plenty of good sex in my life, and came out a reasonable age. I dated some great guys and some bad ones. but overall I am happy with the stuff I have done as a gay man.

    You have to remember that even if someone has a truvada resistant strain, that doesnt mean you are automatically getting infected. Resistance means it may take longer to clear the virus, but it may still eventually clear it. Resistant rarely means "doesnt work at all" Additionally not many people are resistant to the medications in truvada. As for myself, I dont quote exactly, lets just say I have had PLENTY of fun topping and bottoming thanks to PrEP.

    I think my biggest issue here is that it seems like you have some sort of feelings for the guy. And because you havent really had bareback sex before, you need to be okay with the idea of becoming HIV+ Before PrEP I pretty much only topped bare, it was my control mechanism, and while its not perfect, it helps. Now with PrEP, its all different, and I dont worry. Before I ALWAYS worried. Since he is undetectable, he is fairly low risk, but hiv risk is also different for everyone, some people are just more susceptible than others. Some people can go years taking tons of raw dick from anyone, and some people get infected from a guy with a fairly low VL the first time. No one can really tell you what to do here, if you are comfortable with it, go for it, if not, don't. It should also be said though if you are going to top him, its really low risk, him topping you after fisting you.. thats quite a bit higher.

    Still neg, last checkup was a few days ago, been on PrEP since early June 2013, haven't noticed any side effects. In that time I have forgotten to take it twice. I have no reason to think that I would convert given how I am very good at adherence to the medication. Going on PrEP was one of the best decisions I have ever made.

    Just as the topic states, we all know that PrEP significantly reduces the risk of contracting HIV, but I am wondering who "sorts" a bit, and who doesn't. For myself I ask most of the time, and am fine with "neg" and "undetectable" but I have had some instances recently where I haven't asked at all. There is also a guy who is poz, pretty healthy, but not on meds, who wants to fuck me, and I have to admit I am ambivalent about it.

    Karposi's Sarcoma is cause by human herpes virus 8 (HHV8) There are many different herpes virus's out there, and this is just one of them. One o the reasons during the initial years of the AIDS crisis Karposi's Sarcoma was so prevalent in the gay community was because gay men were also transmitting HHV8 to each other, where as in other HIV infected populations like IV drug users and Haitians, they didn't get exposed to HHV8 as much, hence the lack of KS in those populations despite being HIV+ As for why you have signs of a KS outbreak? Its hard to say, but likely due to stress, or some other slight immune system problem. What people don't realize about HIV (especially the bug chasers) is that HIV will cause issues throughout your life, even if you are undetectable and have good cell counts. another example is PCP pneumonia. Roughly 60-70% of HIV+ people will get PCP at some point in their life, even if healthy and undetectable. Ak your doctor what you need to do to control the KS. He may even tell you it will go away on its own.

    Yes, it can cause all sorts of issues, and really is incredibly dumb. Anytime your body has to heal itself, from a cut or scrap to cancer, you body has to rebuild itself, When it rebuilds itself there is always a chance for mutations, scar tissue, etc. The less the damage the less the chance of having issues. So for example, if you get fucked, and get stretched out more than usual, but without tears, it is easier for you body to repair itself correctly without complications. Delicate mucous membranes like the rectum should not have stuff like brushes in it, EVER.

    First off it depends on what you are "partying" with. Many drugs will slightly compromise the immune system, and party drugs are no exception. If you are asking about it from a strictly medical perspective, party drugs like Tina can have slight effects on ARV's like truvada. Should it be a huge difference? no. However, I would still STRONGLY recommend against "partying" aka PNP. Many guys who party think its the best sex in the world, but quite the contrary ask anyone who is remotely sober, and you will find that its usually pretty bad. Tops cant keep it up, or if they can fuck forever without nutting, bottoms get bossy, and want more even after you nut, and all they time they just wanna hit the pipe. Additionally people who PNP, at least in my experience often freak out for almost no reason. Lastly and most importantly for someone on PrEP, People who party often do so for days on end without thought to anything but more drugs and more sex. This is a PERFECT storm to forget or ignore your PrEP. A couple days off PrEP, and some very risky sex means that 92-99% efficacy could be thrown out the window. That situation Pretty much happened to a friend of mine, he lost his insurance that paid for his PrEP, didn't investigate any of the programs to pay for it cause he was busy partying, and ended up HIV+ Sorry but at least with "Tina" I see too many guys who cant handle it, end up hooked, and really messing up their lives. IMO its best just to stay away.

    Just as the topic says, doesn't matter if you are neg or poz, top or bottom, before or after sex, or sexual activity location. Base it off of all of your sexual experience in the past year. If you haven't been tested in the past year and you have been having bareback sex, choose the "Don't know my status" option. If you want to elaborate, post a reply.

    I'm more conservative when it comes to tatoo's I think they can be really hot, or horrendous. The other thing I always think about in regards to tatoo's is how they will look or be in 20 years. Certain tatoos are just going to look awful. Stuff on the ass, and (for me) belly button tatoo's are going to be regrets for most people. Hell I have friends from high school who got sonic the hedghog tatoo'ed on them, now, they want it gone so bad. There's a porn star who also has his asshole tatoo'ed and I think it is awful. Mind you these are just my opinion, However I do think more people should take more time thinking about their tatoos before they get them.

    Exactly, there are TONS of places to get tested for free, and if you are getting fucked at a sauna, you paid to get into the sauna... and it sounds like you went multiple times... Sorry but there is little excuse for ignoring your health just cause you like sex.

    hahaha yeah it is very good at that. As others have said its different but good. Because the rectum is for absorbing water, its a good idea not to put too much vasaline up there. It will work its way out on its own, but it take a bit. The cleanup part mostly keeps me away from it, but i do like to prelube with a little if I know I am going to bottom. That works well for fucking later with other lubes like silicone.

Heres the issue, even with a disclosure agreement saying you wont sue X company if Y happens, they are challenged in court all the time. Taking basic steps like HIV testing can save ALOT of headaches. Additionally all it takes is one actor out there making their practices public to really cause a shit storm for the company. I would bet that any company that produces media for public consumption, IE not just an xtube amateur page has the people getting tested.

    I ddont know how old he is, but its pretty stupid, and scary. he could be really sick and not know it. Additionally if he is on BBRT he has probably infected more than a few people, even if hes a bottom, Thats awful IMO. I wrote this a while back on another post in the fall of last year. There is a chance he is a LTNP, but those are rare. Some people just survive longer with minimal treatment. Additionally while he says he "hasnt got anymore sick" Thats often false. People on a slow decline regardless of the condition often don't notice, or make excuses for their condition without realizing how bad its got. Unfortunately I don't have an answer for you. I would try and reason with him, and maybe ask about stuff he wants to do in the future. That way you can transition the conversation to getting healthy and hopefully not dying. Realistically after 12 years, he's probably pretty sick. Although some peoples decline is longer than others. Even at the height of the crisis, there were people that were likely infected in the late 70's who didn't get sick until the late 80's or 90's, which is actually when AIDS deaths peaked. That means a 10-15 year incubation timeframe.

    I mean this makes perfect sense, but its a terrible reason to get HIV. MS is an autoimmune disease, so the body attacks itself. immune responses are not always comfortable or pleasant, but in the vast majority of circumstance they are there to protect us. Many people with depressed immune systems because of advanced HIV or AIDS, initially noticed that their allergies went way. This wasn't a good thing, it just meant the immune system no longer had enough cells to fight allergies as well as other pathogens.

    If they ask, or if they seem worried I tell them. I will fuck with anyone if I am attracted to them. Attraction is HUGE for me, and really random sex just for a nut usually isnt my thing. As a rule I try to stay away from guys who are newly poz and very infectious, but again, sometimes you dont know. I sometimes still will use condoms, more so if bottoming and that's what the top wants. As for my spreadsheet, lets just say its very extensive and has many metrics for each act, or person. However as a rule I typically dont include oral only acts.

    yup hydrocortisone suppositories, and cream. you want 1% hydrocortisone or greater. but over 1% you will need a script from your doctor. With that said, its its just popping out, you may want to consider getting it removed. That sounds large and uncomfortable.

    Simple, if you are in the US, go on PrEP, and do what you want, If you are not, its more complicated than that. Go to the PrEP forum for more details if you are unfamiliar. What you have to decide is if what you "want" is more fantasy or reality. A lot of guys see gangbang for and think OMG its so hot, I want it, but them the experience happens, and its actually not at all what they expected. For example taking multiple dicks for an extended period of time can get very painful, and you will be sore the next day. Some like it, some dont. I would NEVER recommend a gangbang for a novice bottom. If you haven't been getting fucked for years its a bad idea. You also have to realize that getting the bug doesn't do anything besides complicate your life. Its a lifetime of pills, doctors appointments, etc, etc. And yes even healthy undetectable guys tend to get sick, and have medical issues more often than Neg guys. So you got to weight it. Also its doesn't mean complete freedom with fucking. unfortunately many poz guys get rejected, and you have to be aware of that. On that subject in many places not telling a sexual partner your status can lead you in jail. Lastly if you are nervous at all about it, DONT DO IT! You can't go back once you get infected. Some things can be left a fantasy and still be fun.

    Thank you, I appreciate it. And really it has nothing to do with PrEP vs POZ. I strive for a balanced view no matter what. PrEP isnt perfect, and I reiterate this all the time, but its by far the best tool we have right now. The whole idea of liars in general really irks me because it causes so many issues within the community. I think PrEP is too new to have many people lying about it. However I do think there are people that are willfully ignorant about it like my FB that just became poz. I bet he has been having raw sex for years before PrEP so when his insurance ran out, he didn't think twice about doing the same behavior as he did before. However in this circumstance he got infected and likely infected others while highly virulent because he is vers. All the while having a profile that says "Neg on PrEP. Call it lying, call it willful ignorance, but the end outcome is the same.
