Do you have similar issues committing to a course of action in other aspects of your life? Do you make other kinds of plans and later back out inconveniencing and annoying the people around you. If so, this may be part of a larger problem. You might benefit from counseling to help you work through the issues. My point is that a few days ago you were a few pumps away from taking a poz load in your hole. The I Will Try To Use Condoms strategy isn't working for you very well as it seems to be highly dependent on the kindness and self-control of strangers. I was suggesting PrEP because it will help keep your options open a little longer (potentially a lot longer) regarding HIV. Most other things you might pick up can be treated. Also, I am not judging you at all. If I had been where you were a few days ago, I most likely would have taken that load. -

You sound like an excellent candidate for PrEP; there is a whole sub-forum about it under HIV/AIDS & Sexual Health if you need more info. That's your best bet to avoid HIV, and if you can do that, then you can be a BB slut and have a family, too. Actually, poz guys can have all those things you want as well; the state of the art for treating HIV has really progressed. -
