Which means you’re young and presumably very healthy. It’s our turn to be jealous...😂

There is a debate starting over here about vaccine passports - and whether they should be required for everyday life, such as going to the cinema or the pub. I alluded to it flippantly earlier to Andy, but actually it could become a serious debate. Some companies are starting to seriously consider adopting a No Jab-No Job policy. Interesting times ahead.
-
I agree, Andy. And the rollout is going so spectacularly well here that some areas are bound to be further ahead in the cohorts than others. I’m lucky to be with a surgery that has been so efficient that they’ve already done most of the over 50s in this catchment area. That’s the luck of the draw, I guess.
-
I think we’re actually on the same page. And my original post was really just surprise to having seen it at all - I haven’t before today.
-
Oh, I agree with you that it would be much better if it were 100%. But all the vaccines licensed here have a much higher efficacy than the annual flu jab, I believe. And even two-thirds non-transmission is better than nothing. As for the EU, they’ve buggered up their vaccination programme big time.
-
Today was the first time I saw it, I must admit. I was quite surprised to see it. However, there is emerging evidence that the Oxford jab does prevent around 67% of transmissions, so we’ll see.

HIV gets you bumped up the NHS queue, of course. But only by one level in my age group.
-
I was staggered how quickly I got mine. I was expecting it in May at the earliest. My GP surgery seems to be racing through the cohorts.
-
I can see that. If Boris brings in vaccine passports, we might have to show those to hook-ups in the future...😂
-
I notice today that some guys locally are adding “vaccinated” to their online profiles.

Almost Visited a Bathhouse at 19. What would have happened?
SpectreAgent replied to a topic in General Discussion
Actually, Sailors would have been a great introduction. I went there a lot and it was always so friendly. And full of genuine East End blokes. But because it was on four different levels, each varying in activity, you could have dipped your toe in, as it were. At one stage they had a cruising area done out as a council estate. That was very good... -
Why does becoming POZ make guys become sex crazy

I couldn’t agree with you more. I think you’ve hit the nail firmly on the head in your first paragraph. -
Hampstead Heath: a summer to remember?
SpectreAgent replied to Spunkinmyarse's topic in London Metro Area
In my experience, there’s always enough spunk to go around at Hampstead Heath. And at this rate, we’ll have to hire a minibus. BZ Tours, anyone...? God, I’ve had some wild experiences there. My ex used to live in a posh apartment on the Isle of Dogs (he was an original Yuppie, which dates us both). I’d leave his and drive up to Hampstead on my way home. I wasn’t cheating because he knew and would sometimes come with me. We’re still the best of mates. He’s a lawyer and while he’s respectable by day, off duty is another matter. He introduced me to the Heath...to The Fort... the Pride of Stepney... He was a bit of a sexual mentor, really. It was like My Fair Lady but with cocks. Every age, every type of guy can be found down the Heath. And in recent years, it’s seemed almost exclusively bareback. Which I’ve loved, of course. -
They’ve really done a terrific job in rolling it out, haven’t they? I was so pleased for you when you texted earlier. Like you, I was expecting mine to be another couple of months.

Hampstead Heath: a summer to remember?
SpectreAgent replied to Spunkinmyarse's topic in London Metro Area
The thing is, it would be very easy to think that post was an exaggeration. But it’s not. At its best, the Heath can be all that, and more. I recall one hot summer night about ten years ago when there must have been 500 guys down there - or it felt like it. I was knee-deep in cock. -

I may yet hold you to that! -

Sounds a good night. I’ve had plenty like that down on the Heath in the past. I’ve not been there for a couple of years as I live in Manchester, but I’m determined to go with another BZ member when things open up a bit (as it were). -
Had my first shot today. Apart from a dull ache in my arm and a slight fuzziness in the head (actually a bit of a euphoric trippy feel, if I’m honest) that’s it. But I feel good in knowing that I’ve done the right thing for myself and for everyone else. For me, it was a no brainer.

Given my past, the odds are very high...😂

Where did you get (or give) your last load?
SpectreAgent replied to rawTOP's topic in General Discussion
I can’t wait to get down to the Heath again. -
We are...😉

That’s interesting because in the UK we’re bumped up the vaccine list, I think, presumably because we’re deemed a vulnerable group.
