  1. Well that makes sense. I noticed that since moving to Florida none of the black men I have met have wanted to "host". That's fine with me, I don't want to run the risk of driving but it does reduce their risk of neighbors gossiping about why a white guy shows up at 1 am on the weekend in an Uber. Interesting too, is that the black men (and I can count them on one hand) would continue to come over or contact me, usually when their schedule was free to "get away" for an hour or two. I'm not complaining.........
  2. I am relatively new to BZ so I am curious as to the current status regarding hookup sites and identification, as well as acceptance of credit cards. I know years back DudesNude asked me to send a photo holding a number they supplied me. Once I did that I was allowed to post but I really didn't consider it a hook up site. I can say I currently use a site, and have done so for years, that contains x rated photos and does ask about drug usage. That site has never asked me to prove my identity and does currently accept my Visa card if I want to upgrade to Premium (allowing for unlimited messages). So how is it that site is still allowed to operate if they really haven't verified who I am. They accept payment from me and I haven't received any notification that I needed to provide a state of federally issued ID to continue on their site. So can I expect to hear from them in the near future? Just curious if other BZ members have had a similar experience (or non-experience as in my case)?
  3. Your high school class and the one I attended sound similar. Going to parochial school in Philadelphia that charged tuition, meant that in my graduating class, at least among the boys, there was one African American and one Hispanic. Those minorities that started in my freshman year slowly disappeared as their diocese didn't contribute towards their tuition, so they ended up leaving for public high schools. My tennis coach was a minority English teacher, but other than him all I saw were white faces. I hear wha you are saying, about "spice" and "variety" because frankly, I was taught to be afraid of anyone who didn't look like me. Once I was able to overcome my fears I have embraced or pursued sexual opportunities with those who are different. I don't know about you, but even today I still get remarks from acquaintances that it isn't "a good look" for me to be seen with or be open about my encounters with brown or black men. I tell them I don't care what people say about me. You would think that in 2022 people would have moved past that, but sadly they haven't.
  4. Interracial Bareback Gangbang - I know that's three words but it's actually one genre (or fetish if you prefer).
  5. Fair enough, after hearing many views on this subject I have decided just to post my profile and photos and let people decide if they are interested or not. Even the slightest hint that I was open to all races has caused me more angst and questioning than if I had merely said nothing about the subject. I've learned, I am glad I posted about this subject because in the back of my mind I knew the answer, I just don't think I was ready to freely admit it to myself. Thank you.
  6. What's sad is that being a white man seems to put you at the head of the line. I don't view men in that way, but your comment on the days of CL ring true. The idea of fucking a blonde white guy seemed to get more attention than the latin guy with the 9 inch dick, and God forbid he be uncut! I just don't see the logic, but as I am hearing from other posters, logic doesn't always come into play. I've given up trying to write the PC profile because you aren't going to appeal to everyone, and sometimes putting too much thought into your ads or profiles can get a negative feedback. I've decided just post the pics, give my stats and allow guys to decide for themselves if they find me appealing. I think now I am confident enough to know that "you can't please all of the people all of the time", or "if you miss the guy, there's another one right around the corner" ideology because my mental health regarding acceptance and approval has greating improved, and I've been actively online now for 17 years and have no plans on stopping.
  7. Cruz is one of the most incredible tops in gay porn today. I don't see him performing as much as I would like to, he shows up now and again but as we all know studio porn is not as productive as it once was. It seems now performers have to go the route of @fans only in order to get new content out there. How you get your porn content is of course a hot button contest, but Cruz, by far would be my first choice. I am also a fan of "Sir Peter" who works for a number of studios and has a @fansonly, HUGE cock and knows how to use it. I often see Cutler from Cutler's Den videos, those what I enjoyed most is some of his older work where he worked for various studios.
  8. I would think that most of the performers from Treasure Island Media are poz, or poz friendly. The question is, how do you track them down and how do you communicate with them?? I know that Jeff Allen from Raging Stallion, (you may know him as JeffAllenXXX) is poz and I have played with him, you can see video clips of him on Raging Stallion's website and he also has appeared in at least one Treasure Island Video.
  9. Your remark about someone telling you they were not interested in meeting back guys has usually come from other black guys, is spot on. It' something I've noticed more so in recent years, and the black men I have been involved with have told me they would never date or be sexual with another man of color. I don't understand the logic, I think if you eliminate someone solely for their skin color you could possibly miss out on an opportunity to meet a great individual. It's sad that it has come to this, when I first came out I never heard of something like this. Only now, with apps making it possible to screen individuals based on skin color certainly has a negative impact on gay men, especially those new to the lifestyle. I just feel like we are moving in the wrong direction...
  10. Exactly, which is one of the advantages of a group party, more variety. However, I have seen recently where someone was attending and he stood literally across the room from a person who was not the same skin color. It' s funny, he was the "doorman" (there were maybe 10 of us), but he wouldn't even bother to address the other guy, which was unfortunate. Since this wasn't my house I really had no say in the matter, but I knew both individuals personally so that was awkward. When the "doorman" locked the door, that was the end of who could join us and I imagine if he was so upset he could have left at that point. I only found out later being the doorman came with a "reward" or "reimbursement" of a certain item. Then it made sense in my mind. I spoke to both guys separately after the "party" and the "doorman" made it clear it was based on race and he tried to convince the host not to include the individual he found so offensive. The host refused and he decided to stay and participate (to an extent) because he was being reimbursed. I have been back to that same house for additional parties and to be honest, the "doorman" had been relieved of his duties and new people of color had been included. What I found most surprising, is that a short while ago I found the host online and he and his husband were looking for a "third". What I noticed is that the host had married a guy who the "doorman" would not have ah, even spoken to. I am going to miss those group parties now that the host has married and they only want a third, but I hope my experience with the subject of racism at group parties is something my fellow posters will not have to deal with.
  11. Well I have attended group parties where participants have told me, point blank, they were not interested in another guy because of his race, and his race alone. Fortunately, I was not the host and there were maybe 12 of us, so with that number it is easy to be tactful for those who did not want to interact with other attendees. I do remember the no fats/no fems but it was more of a "be in shape/masculine" wording that came across as less offensive. I have never seen the words "no blacks" online, but I have seen black men say "sorry only interested in other "men of color". It does seem to work both ways racially, I think people are just trying to get the message across without being overtly racist. Where I have had issues is smaller events, say six guys, and when two more arrive and they see who is there, they leave. I have followed up with a phone call to those guys and was told "You should have told us .......... was going to be there"! I almost feel as if I need to send out a list in advance of attendees so I don't get people upset. It's probably me just being naive, or thinking life is porn movie, but then again I have read certain porn stars won't work with guys of another race so I guess the subject is everywhere. I wondered if anyone would even respond, if we had all, as a community, gotten past this point. I don't think we have, at least not in my experience. I hope more will respond so I can get feedback on what their experiences have been when it comes to these kind of "Sexually Social" interactions have been like.
  12. I have really noticed an increase in the amount of men who turn down sexual opportunities based on race. When I first started hooking up online there seemed to be little discussion regarding the race of an individual when getting groups together for house parties. Sure there were questions regarding top/vers/bottom ratios, if the attendees were in shape, age questions, and of course, HIV status. As the years went by, since say 2004, there was less question about HIV status based on which sites I used. The use of chemical enhancements was a no brainer as the question was already posted in most profiles (if allowed by the site). But recently, the issue of race has become the first question out of most attendees mouths. Who will be there or does their race match mine? I get a lot of "well I don't have a problem with them, but my partner is uncomfortable". Or "I have plenty of friends of opposite races, but I only have sex with men that are .....fill in the blank". So, my question to Forum members is, do you take into consideration the race of an individual or those attending a group function before you make a decision to attend or not? Certain sites have organized group parties where you can see who has decided to attend. But what if a friend invites you? I know most ask for photos, but will the race be the final factor in deciding to attend or not? Very curious and looking forward to responses. I am new to the Forum so please forgive me if I am repeating an often asked question but I haven't seen it discussed here much.
  13. See, a perfect example of being in one of the largest cities in the world, but if you have a past in porn, people will remember you. It's like being a great trick, someone may have played with you 15 years ago, and had a great time. You may not remember them, but the minute you walk in the door they call you by your first name and tell everyone what a great time you are. I think it is the same for porn performers. I know many who worked in porn subsidized their income by escorting, and those folks too, remember you well. I have had clients who I first saw in Philadelphia, only to book them again in Florida, and they remember me the minute they open the door. The world is a smaller place than we think, and also media will follow you forever. You can stop running your ads for escorting, but if you made a film in the early 2000s, it's still readily available. I laugh at these guys who are 20 or 21, they act like people didn't have sex in the 80s, 90s or early 2000s. I am a bit taken back when they make remarks like "oh I would never have sex with someone in their 30s or 40s". Buddy, yes you will! If you are good, people remember you, and they will respond accordingly.
  14. I used to stay on 17th Street Causeway in Ft Lauderdale at the Crown Sterling Suites for five years for business. I would check in late Sunday evening and usually check out on Friday morning, to return to Sarasota. I was a government employee and the hotel rooms were large, in the front was an office like area where I could work, in the middle was the bathroom and in the back was a king size bed. That location in Lauderdale was fantastic as it gave me a close location to all the bars at the time; It wasn't just the location, but the staff! From the front desk, to the restaurant, to room service, almost all the male employees were gay. Since I spent the entire work week there, many began to know and recognize me. I often didn't want to leave the room during the day if I was writing reports so I would order room service. It was more like ordering room service dick. I knew the restaurant manager had noticed me but he was not my type. However, I had become so sexually active with the staff that it became noticeable, and the manager was actually watching the clock to see how long it would take to have my meals delivered to me. I had some repeat waiters who literally pushed to food cart in, took their uniforms off, and they fucked my for about 10 minutes, only to get dressed and go back downstairs. On at least two occasions they forgot to charge me and had to come back, get the tray and the payment. I would never sleep with the restaurant manager and he got pissed, so he started to substitute women servers to spite me. What he didn't know is that many of the male servers came back in the early or even late evenings, when he was gone, so we could hook up. Some bought fuck buddies or even their partners. I only speak English but many of the waiters were of Hispanic decent, and also one Brazilian airline had their crew "overnight" at their hotel. I would see them often at the complimentary breakfast, they would smile and remain professional. However, one night I was at the Ramrod and I heard a voice say "don't I know you from the hotel". It was one of the Brazilian flight attendants. For about six months I hooked up with him as well as two of his coworkers. What was interesting is when I converted to poz my doctor received notification regarding the strain of HIV they found in my system. It turned out they had not seen that strain in south Florida and asked if I had traveled abroad. I told them I had not in a number of years so their next question was had I slept with anyone who was not from the US. I told them about the Brazilian crew and they thanked me for my honesty. What sucked is that their route was changed and instead of doing "overnights" in Florida they rerouted them to other international locations, as all were multilingual and could work almost any flight. To this day I wonder if they knew the reason they could no longer fly into the US was because of the information I gave to my doctor and those who looked at my lab results. I ended up developing KS and after that I had less than 50 T cells. My disability was approved in record time (I understand now it takes up to two years) but at the time of the KS being found they thought that it had been eradicated from the US. Apparently not. Though I was sad my career had to come to an end, and I miss being in Ft. Lauderdale on business because of the "night time" and "Day time" job perks, I would not change that time in my life for any reason.
  15. Thanks for that, it had been a while since I walked that far down Sansom Street, so now I will take a look. I was born and raised there and usually when I come back to visit I hook up online and since no one knows me, I tend to do very well at that. Quick question - is the old 2-4 after hours club still in business. I thought they may have undergone a name change. I used to go there after Woody's (I wonder if that still even exists). I just wondered if people even bothered going to "after hours" clubs any longer?
  16. Yeah I have been there as well and I had a great time, it's just a little distance from where I normally went to drink so I tended to go to the bathhouse that was closer. Last time I checked Samson St. was more of a theatre, not a bathhouse. Has something changed, it has been a long time since I walked that far up Sansom street so maybe things have changed?
  17. Yes that is me, that was probably after three or four of the Skulptra treatments, but my T cells were low and the viral count was high. Once you start to party your face seems to pay the price. I would stick to Radiesse, I had that when my T cells were in the 150 to 200 level and it does last up to two years. It is more effective and in the end, cheaper.
  18. Well I guess this thread had my name written on it, so I'll be honest and here I go. I have been receiving Sculptra from my HIV Specialist, who was certified by the company to do the injection, for years. I had ten (10!) treatments of Sculptra over about an eight year period. Since I was on disability the company only charged a nominal fee for the actual syringe of the product, when my doctor included his portion I was paying $350.00 out of my pocket, of course no insurance for something like this At the time, I had between 25 and 50 T cells, and a viral load of over a million. I can say this, Sculptra improved my appearance for maybe two months. After that, my face would begin to look like I was ill. You would notice it if you walked by a car window, or a window in a store front. I actually went to my dermatologist and mentioned I was having the procedures, and she told me they had to reimburse some clients who were not ill, that Sculptra didn't work. Though I was never social with any of my doctor's other patients I can tell you I was not pleased with the results after about a month or two. Now, to be honest, I wasn't taking my meds as directed. That was why my viral load was so high and T cells were so low. Secondly, I partied maybe three weekends out of the month, so maybe 12 days out of 30 I was doing t. None of that helped my situation. My doctor did these procedures over about that eight year period and he had clients lined up around the door, usually on Thursday evenings. I realized after about eight years I was throwing my money away because I had no plans on discontinue partying. I did look fine until the first weekend I partied and by say Tuesday morning my face did begin to show signs I was ill. Then a few years back my doctor approached me with the idea of doing Radiesse. Now this was going to be $750 a procedure, a lot of needles in your face but hey, I am used to needles, so not an issue for me. I will say this, Radiuses lasts longer and the effects of the treatment are immediate and your entire face feels fuller, you look healthier. I know $750 is a lot of money for many of us, but it is well worth it. So if I knew from the beginning I wouldn't have wasted my time with Sculptra (My doctor called me "Prince Sculptra" because I had it so many times), and went right to Radiesse. It may be more expensive but it lasts up to two years, at least in my situation. Remember I had an extremely high viral load and very few T cells so it made the difference! Go with Radiesse.
  19. It that the only remaining bath house in Center City Philadelphia. I have not had need to use one in years and I do recall one bathhouse that you could see the entrance from the window of Woody's bar. The other club I knew of had been there for years and had been part of the Club Baths chain (if I have that correctly). So I guess my question is, is there just the one bathhouse or is the old time one still open? Thanks - folks.
  20. Try the Crystal Inn on 34th Ave S. in south St. Petersburg. It was across from the Flamingo Inn till they tore that down and made it into apartments. There is an XTC bookstore next to it that is very active, and in that area there are a lot of guys online who are on A4A and BarebackRT. I have hooked up with guys there twice, one who was living there on a long term basis. It may seem a bit sketchy initially, but now there is a gate around it so there is not so much homeless activity in the stair wells. It is very gay now that the Flamingo has closed.
  21. So what are the chances we would be from the same city? I still go back to party and play, to hook up with guys that didn't know me back then and those I never met. I could put a turnstile outside my buddy's place at 12th and Porter and just count the number of guys I can get off of Barebackrt., a4a even the goddy goddy manhunt site. I work out at the gym on 12th street that had all the hot trainers, now most of them have opened their own stuidios. I used to go up for the circuit event because it was a real sausage fest for me, new blonde guy in town so to speak. It was the first time a buddy put me in front of a web cam and before you knew it we had an invite to an all the dick and favors you can handle party at a very nice hotel on Rittenhouse Square. My career took off once I actually got to Florida, even though I began working for the Feds in Philadelphia. Like you said, rental space was at a premium, and most agencies were moving to Cleveland. I worked in the old post office building across the street from the Gallery Mall as well as on Jeweler's Row, and of course the William Green Federal Building. Coming to Florida, though I took a lower graded position, paid off as I was able to navigate my way through the federal hiring system and ended up with the Department of Agriculture. You mentioned Wanamaker's.....so funny. I think they were the first store to give me a credit card after I graduated from college. I was sorry to hear they closed. My father closed his business, it was on S. Waters Street down by the Delaware River. It was constantly being broken into and he just couldn't take it anymore. I was so fortunate he retired at an early age and I was able to find a government job in Tampa and initially commute from Ellenton. Agriculture eventually had me stationed in Sarasota and working from home, with that salary was pure gravy. I miss Philly and being able to take the Subway. I used to go to "Woody's" bar because they didn't card me and I could get in when I was 17. I remember the "Key West" Bar, and "Equus" where all the hotties went. My favorite after hours place was the old 2-4 club, where we could party and stay out all night. If you couldn't get laid there (and party) you couldn't do it anywhere. Hopefully I will get to chat with you soon,
  22. I appreciate the follow up for you. I too had MRSA infections but they never complicated my life like HPV. Thanks for the encouraging words, I plan on following the doctor's orders. I guess I just can't find a tactful way of asking "So, can I ever bottom again?" 🤭 I know it sounds awful, my HIV specialist is a gay man, but the cancer specialist is a young woman so it's not something I can just blurt out in her office. I see her later in the summer, I'll be on here bemoaning the fact that I may never be able to be the power bottom I once was if she says NO to the bottoming question.
  23. Funny we have been chatting, I was born and raised in Philadelphia. The parking situation in downtown is a nightmare. I often stay in south Philadelphia with buddy and I can tell you the number of guys there are plentiful. I can also say there are many who are in relationships, so if you post that you are visiting from out of town you can get so many guys that normally would not take a chance on hooking up with a local. I can go to Philly for five days, and literally go through 5 to 8 guys in a day. My friend who I stay with jokes he is virtually my doorman, and gets pissed that many of the guys I hook up with he recognizes from the gym or gay bars and they pay him no mind. He is extremely attractive so what is the issue?? He is a local......and people talk. You mentioned the parking and in south Philadelphia it is awful for residents. My friend who lives there racked up over $3000 is parking tickets, his car was booted and then towed away. He NEVER bothered to go and get it back, I could not believe it. Guys are everywhere in Philadelphia. I went to school and then college there, I moved to Florida in my late 20s. I often miss the public transportation. My friend told me not to come back with the rising crime and rents going through the roof. Now I am facing the same rental increases in the Tampa/St Pete area, and Philadelphia can have some terrible winters. It is interesting I was chatting with you about the video recording and now I find out you are well acquainted with my home town. Now you live in the Tampa area. Talk about a coincidence....
  24. Personally when someone says "bring other tops" I initially cringe but what comes to mind is: A. They aren't satisfied with one and are afraid the first invited might not meet their "expectations". B. They have no concern for the feelings of the initial top they invited and consider him a link to other tops. C. They tell a top they are on their way after having spent the past 16 hours at a bathhouse but they can find time in their busy schedule of bottoming to swing by and collect another load. D. Most awful situation. Having a bottom friend overstay his welcome because he wanted to see which top was going to show up. The guy was incredible gratuitous not knowing I was going to have a friend at my place and really put a 100 percent effort into his topping efforts. My bottom friend was on stomach, on his cell phone, texting other guys while getting fucked and had no concern for the feelings of the individual who was doing a fantastic job of tagging him. I agree 100 percent with the poster above. I never ask someone to bring an additional person with them, for fear I might offend them, as if they are not good enough. Now I know in my profile I do say "one - on -one", "three-ways" or "group" is all an option. I put it out there. The most successful situations where someone bought an extra guy was when THEY suggested it, or asked if they could bring another guy along. I know I would be offended if a top said "can you make sure there is an extra bottom or two at your place" as if I wasn't going to be good enough to fulfill his expectations. I just wish some guys would think before they open their mouths.
