    There are CumUnion parties locations that are regularly decent orgies. I suspect that the odds are better when they are held in venues that do not offer private rooms, and force everyone to play in the group play spaces, the ones held at Sanctuary LAX have been consistently very good for me. The ones held at bathhouses that regularly see orgies that last several hours break out in their group play spaces also tend to turn into decent orgies, but don't require a CumUnion party to get an orgy going, the now closed Denver Swim Club was great for this. In the PNW, as far as I have been able to figure out, a decent group orgy is all but impossible to achieve, in a private party, at a bathhouse, or an event like CumUnion. Both Portland and Seattle have held Horsemarket parties, but I haven't been able to attend one yet, but find it hard to believe they would work very well with out getting a significant percentage of the attendees from outside the region. They don't do group sex, they don't fuck with strangers on the 1st hookup, and a larger than average percentage of the gay population do not engage in any form of casual penetrative sex.

    I think the answer to that question is somewhat situational. With a small group of regular fuck buddies, or even if you are setting something up with a single individual in advance, for me disclosing my status in ethically mandatory. If you are at a sex club, party or just out cruising then I think it is up to the other party to ask if you are undetectable, if I wasn't undetectable I would feel obligated to disclose it before we fucked. For me that didn't happen, because I found out I was positive while being treated for cancer and was undetectable long before I started looking for sex again. Another ethical question is for cumdump bottoms, what is their obligation even if they themselves are neg on PREP or undetectable? I'm almost certain I caught it from fucking cumdump bottoms at sex clubs and parties. I take full responsibility for my own irresponsible actions (I sought out bottoms that I had just watched get bred), but definitely warn someone who I don't think is experienced if they are about to stick their dick in me and I have cum in my hole.     I highly recommend you get on PREP if you are actually going to bareback.     You need to go and experience the scene for yourself. I live in Portland, so I haven't been too many times in Seattle and don't make special trips for events there. I find both Portland and Seattle scenes extremely slow, but you can get lucky and be there on a somewhat decent night.

    I'm not trying to dissuade you from going to the one in Seattle, I go to it if I happen to be there on one of the party dates. If you want to go to a CumUnion party with a really good active fucking scene, that almost guarantees you will get fucked, I recommend the LAX party, it is resuming after a several months hiatus on 4/7. It is a lot more active than the parties in Las Vegas, and the parties in Las Vegas are a lot more active than Seattle. I would highly recommend that you do get on PREP if you are going to act on this.

    At this point in time, I am one of those guys. Looking for information on this type of event is pretty much the only thing I use the hookup apps for when I am at home. If I'm online using them to actively look for hookups, i am either visiting a city I'm not familiar with, or one I've had good luck in the past.

    Even that varies by city, I have made those weekend trips numerous times to Southern California on weekends where I could hit the CumUnion Party at LAX, and hopefully one in Palm Springs, San Diego or Vegas, plus a couple more well advertised orgies or at least go to active gay fuck venues. At times I was doing it often enough that I was becoming a semi-regular in LA and Palm Springs, at least on CumUnion weekends. On the other hand I've tried going to the Seattle (which is relatively nearby for me) CumUnion Party a handful of times and it was always a total bust for me, I rarely get to Seattle, and I would guess it has been at least 10 years since I've even bothered to try hooking up other than the 2 or 3 CumUnion parties I attended in that time period.

    They dropped their stance on bareback sex after PReP became widely available, and there is more actual fucking happening at Steam than anytime before the pandemic. Unfortunately there is less actual fucking happening at Hawks than before the pandemic. I would almost go so far as to say that it is currently easier to find someone willing to fuck at Steam than Hawks now, but then again neither venue has ever been great for it. Both venues have added fetish events that draw large crowds of guys who do not fuck with strangers (or probably at all), but Hawks has added a lot more than Steam. Even on a non-fetish night at Hawks, you are pretty much guaranteed to find cross dressers in lingerie, guys wearing animal masks, and guys carrying around dildos that only do toy play, as well as the usual PNW contingent of men who only want to participate in very mild foreplay.

    I've lived here for 16 years, the lack of fucking at the bathhouses is not new. The cuddle parties are relatively new, but were around before COVID, there has definitely been a huge increase in events that aren't explicitly about fucking at both bathhouses, the number per month has at least doubled in just the last 3 months. I've definitely learned to check the calendar rather than increase my frustrations while wasting my time and money.
