That is another interesting difference, there is zero risk of a Puritanical complaint causing the businesses problems, adult venues of all types are embraced by the "keep Portland weird" movement and are almost sacrosanct for that reason. The Puritanical behavior of the patrons of the sex establishments more than makes up for the lack of a public Puritanical complaints. -

You are more generous than I am, and could be right. I'd still prefer that they discourage playing dildos at a sexclub, it is disruptive for the guys that are actually there to have sex that involves using a real live boys dick. One of the weirdest things I've ever seen at an adult theater happened around 2010 at the one in downtown, which had moved from the Jefferson to the Paris by that point, all of them are closed now. A mid twenties chick came in with her bi-boyfriend (I had hooked up with them several times at that point both at theater and hotels), one night when the theater was completely packed to try to get gangbanged. I would agree, that there are occasional good times to be had. Portland was one of the early locations for Cumunion parties, and until they were widespread drew some very horny travelers. @partying.hard maybe I'm just missing the signals, I'm the 1st to admit I'm sexually incompatible here, and because I traveled and was able to meet my needs elsewhere before COVID meant I never adapted, however I have been witnessing cruising and sexclub behavior for 15 years here that I've never encountered anywhere else. I intentionally did not identify the bathhouse here, but if I were to I would have to add that it's former location prior to COVID, it had the most active sex scene in either Portland or Seattle. I'm not sure dildo washing facilities will help them maintain that status.

After 15 + years of living here, and traveling most of the time I've lived here, I've come to the conclusion that the guys that describe their great times at the sex clubs have a combination of different expectations and a good imagination for fantasies. I have the imagination for fantasies, but also the expectation to act on them in a sex club populated with like minded guys. I know at this point I'm in my 50's and not everyone's cup of tea, but still find lots of sex in other parts of the country. I don't really get the room thing, they generally don't even understand the concept of bathhouse room cruising, so I'm not sure why someone would comandeer your room. I work throughout North America, and agree that it is unique to a region covers that covers PNW US and far western Canada of North America. Haven't had the opportunity to explore Europe that way, but it has always sounded like there are places that I would fit right in. I will say that if you are into fetishes and kinks, and really don't care about the sexual act itself, that the PNW of the US and far western Canada are the place to be. They have groups for more fetishes and kinks than I've ever thought about, just don't go to one of their events, or do a 1 on 1 hookup with someone whose profile is about fetishes and kinks, and expect to fuck or get fucked, because it isn't likely to happen. In fact they will probably take offense at the idea of actually fucking.

For non-sexual reasons, it will most likely be next spring before I finally make the move. I have hopes that I will be doing quite a bit of travel starting in late November, which should allow me to enjoy my talents more.The COVID years of not traveling have convinced me that living here is a non-tenable sexual situation.

Hawks, they are still building it out so the darkroom while open is nothing but an empty shipping container, with one small mat on the floor, without anything on the doorway to keep it dark. I finally have an appointment to get my 1st dose tomorrow. The city will make a huge difference, I can see it working in bigger cities like Chicago or LA and a few smaller ones that have horny fuckers like Denver or Palm Springs.
