My observation is that sex clubs that have higher percentages of versatile guys have a lot more fucking than those that don't. I definitely prefer clubs with lots of activity where I can fuck 15 or 20 guys, hopefully get at least a dozen cocks in my ass, cum 3 or 4 times and leave fully satiated after 3 hours. I find hanging around the bath for more than 4 hours just hoping for activity, to be extremely frustrating. Unfortunately that has always been my reality at the baths in Portland. @dmvnewbie I have a slightly different observation on the porn front. Flip fuck scenes had almost entirely disappeared from main stream gay porn before the advent of amateur distribution channels, which could also have had an effect on guys fantasies. Thirty years ago, there as almost a formula for what went onto a gay VHS tape, 5 scenes, 1 JO only, 1 oral, 3 anal with at least one of the anal scenes being a flip fuck. More recently even when all of the performers in a scene are versatile, they stick to just one role within a given scene and often times all of the scenes in the release. I have some slight hope that the amateur internet performers releasing flip fuck scenes and orgy scenes where all of the performers fuck and get fucked might inspire more guys to flip. As someone who has always been at least verse curious, and has been fully versatile since my 1st time bottoming, I can't wrap my head around why so many gay (and bi guys when they have sex with men) have such a strong tendency towards bottoming. As a 50+ versatile guy, I don't see much difference. Because of body type and dick size, I've always been stereotyped as a top and have had an easier time finding bottoms than I do tops. It really isn't any different at 52 than it was at 22. To be fair, I was bred by two 20-30 something guys this weekend and no guys over 40 (although I did get fucked by a couple). Ironically, finding a "straight" married top is even harder than finding a bottom that is married to a woman. My experience is that men in hetrosexual marriages are even more inclined towards bottom when they have sex with other men than any other group of gay or bi men. Drug use may definitely be a factor, although I doubt it is exclusive to meth. It could even explain the difference I saw moving from Denver to Portland 15 years ago.
