    It's far cheaper for an insurance company to pay for PrEP for as long as your doctor prescribes it than for them to cover mandatory HIV meds for the rest of your life.     Tell your boyfriend you fucked up, and it won't happen again. That way you don't have to worry about passing anything along to him without him knowing. HIV is not the worry here; lots of other things can be caught without a condom. You just get caught up in the moment. Don't beat yourself up.

    I believe the theory is that by 25 you have most likely been exposed already. It does you no good after exposure. That's why they are pushing to give it to kids who are not yet sexually active.

    When I was in my teens and 20s, I never seemed to have an issue with needing to clean. That was until I had my first really well-hung fuck buddy.     Less sleepy now than when I last wrote - actually you could have been infected any time between a couple of weeks ago and whenever you last got tested. I was assuming in my first reply that you took an HIV test every 3-6 months. If that is not the case, you could have been poz for a long time.

    I understand you are mad at the guy you told us about (with good reason). But if you tested poz on Monday, you got infected somewhere in the range of 2 - 12 weeks earlier. In fact if this had been your first exposure, you could have taken PEP and most likely prevented HIV from taking hold. I feel for you, but the story you are telling makes no sense.
