It never occurred to me to try and keep track. That said, I started fucking guys in undergrad, and only stopped "outside" Hole when hiv came along, for about 3,4 years, I guess. Once there were treatments available, guys started in with the outside sex again, and so did we. I've never been all that great with math, but by now, the figure must be in the thousands. (yes, I'm trying to blush, but I just can't remember how ....)

I don't think so; there are (presumably) plenty of guys that have 'casual sex' - perhaps often - with a barrier on the Cock. I realize that where I live, there are far more rawmen than condomed men, but most areas of the country aren't known as a "sexual destination" either. I agree with the above; it's preferable that issues get worked out, and the greater attraction between the two gets a second chance. The basic thing is, whether the "cheater" has the balls to be upfront with his (presumed) loved one. Disappointments always come in our lives, and in some way or another; what's important is how we handle them. Serial cheating, however, is almost certainly an expression of some other, deeper issue.

I've been wondering the same thing. Sometimes while reading a response, I see the [banned word] announcement within the sentence, and I can't even figure out what it might be. The only reason I'd like to know what these words are, is so that I don't use one and get my knuckles rapped. I have figured out that a certain "deity?" who lives in a very hot, fire-filled pit is one of them, and references to certain activities including the underage is probably also one. I'm really sorry to know that ... but I can understand it too. I used to get business-related calls at all hours, and it's a pain in the ass. There were times I simply didn't answer though, depending on who it was calling. It's really sad that so many have become so attached to their devices. The other day I was waiting in line at the deli counter, along with a number of others. Following your logic, a drunk person could have taken a taxi, instead of driving home him/herself, getting into an accident and killing someone. A thief could have chosen an empty house to rob while the inhabitants were away, instead of one when the family is at home, living their lives, and winds up harming (or worse) a resident of that house when he/she is discovered. Liberal Democracies tend to follow the "When all do better, the Nation does better" principle, and healthcare-for-all is a crucial component of that foundational premise.

Agreed. That issue however, applies to many illnesses. We all know that excess drinking, unhealthy eating habits, smoking, etc will impact our health, yet many just do it anyway, for whatever reason (or lack thereof). As I see it, caring for our health, with public school classes required in how to accomplish that, should be a requirement in all public schools, with materials in further depth included the older the kids get. Private schools that accept public funding should also be held to the same standard, or lose the dough. "Private" schooling financial grants from the Government ( i.e. taxpayers), and when religious/cultural taboos are peddled right along with arithmetic, reading, writing, those private institutions can either accept the money and the requirements to get it, or bleed they're supporters for the money. It's a cast-in-concrete "either-or" situation.

Fish. Any kind of seafood. Went down to my favorite oyster bar (not far from Inn Leather, for you guys that will be staying there), called Southport Raw Bar. If we (meaning the U.S. taxpayer) are required to support all the Government functions - some of which we may not approve of - but must pay our share regardless, then of course we should be required to support health-care costs for all as well. In fiscal 2023, The US Government spent over 6 Trillion dollars on all kinds of things. If we, the taxpayers, are unwilling to provide Health Care for our citizens (and everyone else who is in process of becoming a citizen) via our taxes, then how on Earth can we consider ourselves to have "good Government"? Just because the Health Care industry isn't kicking back mountains of dough to the Government (and it's elected representatives) like the armaments industry, for instance, wouldn't caring for the health of it's citizens fall into a "must-do" category? I say the Government should absolutely provide health-care to all it's citizens, and if that industry gets too greedy, enact legislation that will obviate that greed. I notice that one political party in the US is trying to deny children a food-assistance program this coming summer. Comprehensive health-care, regardless of whether some folks dislike the causes, is a foundational requirement of enlightened Governments. Unless and until the citizens get to vote on these issues (and that will never happen), subsidizing Health Care for it's citizens is as crucially foundational as it gets, and far more than subsidizing the hand-gun/arm-cannon/machine-gun industry - and that's just one example.
