As always, the UK government uses a sledgehammer to miss a nut. I definitely understand the fear part. I remember feeling it back in the Craigslist days. I can't say that "fear" is an issue for me. Fear of exactly what, I wonder? All those acts you list are things rawguys do with each other, and that's a "freeing" thing from any "fear", not an inhibiting factor. My friends know what I do, why I do it - if they had rejected me for what I do, then we wouldn't be friends, would we? I think culturally-based fear is nothing more than a reaction to social "norms" that simply don't apply to me. It is what it is, and they can take it or leave it.
