I appreciate your response. Two of the four procedures so far have produced "pre-cancerous" warts and they were removed. But my question remains - were they there hanging around for years, or is this result of a sexual encounter say a few months before they were discovered. I am just curious as both of the individuals I asked sort of "shrugged their shoulders' and these two professionals are anal and rectal cancer specialists. I don't think the question is that difficult, I am just trying to wrap my head around when I was exposed. I know what I was doing at certain time periods, and I know when I first was told I had them. Not trying to track down the guys, I just want to know if I could have been exposed in say, 2017 or 2018, and they didn't show up until 2020 or 2021? Either way I have to deal with this, but during "lockdown" my exposure was limited, during 2017 to say 2019, my encounters would be considered "high" even by the standards mentioned here on BZ.

I do have one question that two female providers have failed to give me a direct response to. I asked " If I have HPV was this a result of a recent sexual encounter, or could it lay dormant in my body and decide to manifest when it likes?" Both of them said yes it is an STD, but didn't (or couldn't give me a time frame). I have no one to blame but myself, but I would like a straight answer. Before the Covid lockdown I had multiple partners a week, for a two to three year period. Since I wasn't informed I had HPV until 2021 or so, I am wondering if it was there all along, hiding in plain sight so to speak, and I had no clue. I am not trying to track down the individual, but since the diagnosis I haven't put others at risk. So does anyone know? Does it show up and cause problems right away, or does it just decide on it's own when it wants to become an issue?? I don't go back to my infectious disease specialist until the end of August and the women at the I have been dealing with at the Anal and Rectal Cancer Institute have not really answered my question. I just would like some answers.....

If there are no rules or no moderation then there is no Breeding Zone. Plain and simple. It would become the "wild Wild West" where people will be subject to despicable treatment and have little or no recourse. Moderators are here for a reason. To this day, I get an occasional slur thrown at me (i.e "what does he know about football, he's just looking at the player's ass") or worse, "So you think you are going to get Monkeypox?". These remarks just came at me randomly. Eventually they were taken down, and the worst of the worst have been banned permanently. But if I didn't seek out one or two openminded moderators, those guys would still be slinging those kinds of comments at me. The two comments I quoted were mild in comparison to some of the things said to me, so let's just allow BZ moderators and the owner do their jobs and not gripe about it. I believe in free speech, I don't believe in harassing fellow Forum members or posting false or misleading information. Be thankful we have a place to go, because the political climate today seems to be heading in the direction that appears to want to silence us all. That would be a sad thing...

Looking at these stats, it amazes me that nearly 70 percent are negative. Kudos to those who paid attention in sex ed classes and listened to information about safe sex practices. An HIV diagnosis may no longer be a death sentence, but no one is going to convince me that it is not life altering. That is why I stay out of the "bug chasing" threads, despite people proclaiming they are "fiction".

I have been dealing with this situation since mid-2020 and have been told that my warts are "pre-cancerous" and have been removed through surgery. Initially I had a fissure and twice they did "botox" injections into that area, but the warts keep coming back. I am seeing a reputable anal and rectal cancer specialist in my area, despite being told the warts are not cancerous. However, the situation remains and it has screwed up my sex life incredibly. It's too late for a vaccine for me. It looks like this August I will have my FIFTH out patient procedure since the time period I mentioned earlier and I can tell you not only is it humiliating but the recovery process is just awful. Sure, they initially give me a minimal amount of pain killers but after that the fear of either spreading it to someone or having another "tear" due to constipation, or fucking, is really unnerving. Right now I am using a compound written by the doctor but this is only a temporary fix till they do the next procedure. I would suggest to any guy who has not been vaccinated for HPV to do yourself a favor and talk to your doctor about getting the jab. I wish I has known because I have overcome a lot physically over the years and thought I was invincible. Apparently, I was wrong. I would not wish this situation on anyone, it really is life changing if you are used to being sexually active.

I think a smile, a nod and even eye contact can along way in sauna/bathhouse situation. Guys who may not be 100 percent perfect, but have a welcoming, nice attitude are generally someone I would be attracted to and pursue. That's just me.....

Almost all the major studios are gone. Porn stars from the 80s and early 90s made more money than those making videos today. So I think it will be a matter of you remembering what site you are on and if you indeed need the protection of a VPN. I was not aware that Grindr can detect your VPN, I got off that site because there were some real dicks on there (and not the good kind) and I found it expensive. Unfortunately law enforcement likes to show they are fighting "vice" by visiting, maybe twice a year, various ABS and busting guys for either exposure or L and L. This is generally in the Tampa area and they post their full names and ages. I have a buddy who is a pharmacist for Walgreens and this has happened to him twice, but he still doesn't seem overly upset by it. Someone from upper management for Spectrum cable got caught, he later apologized and went on a "leave of absence". Some guys just never learn. Oh, and if you are ever caught in Polk County, Sheriff Grady Judd will have a news conference and mock those guys caught and show their mug shots as well as who they are employed by. They say they are looking for human trafficing, but he loves to take shots at Disney and the number of employees caught with their pants down. There are many bad things happening in Polk County, getting a blow job really doesn't seem to be that horrific in comparison to some of the other things I read.

What amazes me is that here in Florida I know many guys that are clueless to the fact they may try to log on to their favorite hook up site or porn site in the very near future and find, SURPRISE!, they can't get in. I have been as low as 12 T cells and lived to tell the tale. I wasn't the most compliant patient and my doctor knew I slept around and did enhancements. I had a viral load over 2 million on more than one occasion. I drove him nuts as I had an excuse as to why each medication was the wrong choice for me. I am now on Descovy and Prescobix and have about 150 t-cells and no viral load. I hold my breath each time I have a lab drawn (tomorrow-yuck) because I fear becoming resistant. If you can name an anti-viral, more than likely I have been on it. At the height of my viral load he had me on four medications and I took them when I felt like it. Complera was a nightmare, though it was supposed to be more patient friendly. To me it was not. Keflex were not my friend, those horrific red pills, made me sick. I threw 1000s of dollars of medication into the trash. I had KS in 2002, fortunately not on my face but it alarmed my doctor as he had not seen patients have that since the late 80s and early 90s. I went to the oncologist the day after it was diagnosed as KS, back in that time not many guys were getting it and there were few labs to diagnose the samples he scraped from my body. Most oncologists in my area at that time would not treat it, fortunately my infectious disease doctor found a gay oncologist to treat me and I could deal with the two pills he gave me. I saw him for about two years. I took the medication he prescribed religiously as I wasn't about to have some obscure disease disfigure me. I am very fortunate to be here today, and I am not proud of my behavior in the past when it came to medications. I understand that because of my disability status combined with Medicare and supplemented with Blue Cross and Blue Shield paid for by AICP (Aids Insurance Continuation Plan) I had the best doctors and medications available. Sadly AICP went away as all the money, at least in my location, was now put aside strictly for ADAP. I understand I have more than most when it comes to coverage, so I am no longer the bitter man who screamed on the phone at the director of the Florida Department of Health. It was her first day back from maternity leave and her entire staff was "scared to call me" when I was informed my AICP was no longer going to be funded. I tried paying $2250 a quarter for the Blue Cross/Blue Shied as my secondary. I made one paymen. Now I am stuck with Simply Health Care as my secondary and it sucks as there are few if any specialists in my geographic area, and I was told the state could make me drive 50 miles one way in order to see any specialists. I'll drive 50 miles to hook up, I won't drive 50 miles for a dermotolgist. So, in closing, I'll just say this. If you find a medication (or cocktail) that works for you, please take it. It can save or extend your life. I am one of the lucky ones who stopped taking meds, then fortunately found something that works, so I am alive . Not all people, who behaved as irresponsibility as I did, can say that.

Question to @Shotsfired - at what point, on any site, do you cut a guy off after he has asked and you have answered twenty or thirty questions. I know people's evenings and free time are valuable, but so is my time and fielding questions that won't end up in a hook up just make me go nuts. I try to make my profiles clear and direct, I invite people to say hello and I don't list "Absolute No's" in the general area of my profile. However, I have had individuals ask me 20 or 25 questions, acting as if they are looking for sex at that time, only to be told they are interested in getting together "sometime next week". I don't recall anyone every asking me to see any kind of medical reports - EVER. Now have they asked me, sure.
