  1. I'd call those "artificial insemination vids"
  2. Thanks more for excellent and nuanced discussion! Upon some reflection, I have to concede that I agree with a good portion of what you say here. The devil (and the quibble) may be in the details. I would certainly not characterize myself as "aggressive" (though my very insistence on arguing the point may undermine me here LOL), but definitely "self-possessed" (to an extreme), "competitive", and "a leader" - it's not clear to me whether that constitutes "dominant". Yes, I'm choosing nuance and sensitivity, but importantly that is by inclination - I find "dominance" in the sense of "domineering" or "bossy" to be actively distasteful to me. Pity I don't find twinks more attractive, as I agree, they (and other naturally submissive people) probably do feel submissive to me (submissive bear cubs I could probably enjoy a bit). But in the bedroom, I find a "doormat" level of submission to be incredibly boring - I really don't want to do all the work. Plus, I really like getting fucked, and between the endowment and the, er, natural dominance, that can be hard to come by.
  3. The ideal is "zero" (which they typically report as "non-reactive") but not everyone can get back down to that. Depends on how much of an immune response their individual body has created. Hence the need for a baseline if you've ever been exposed before. The way the scale works is actually really simple: They test your blood serum against some stuff (an extract of ox heart, no lie) that causes a visible reaction if there's an immune response in it (that has been caused by damage to the body from syphilis or a number of other organisms). If so, that's "reactive". Then they dilute the serum and test it again and see if it still reacts. The maximum amount they can dilute it by and still see a reaction is the "titer" that they report on the test. Obviously, the more antibodies you body is making, the more they can dilute it and get a reaction, so the higher the number.
  4. I completely agree that the exchange of ideas is what makes it fun. Definitely am enjoying this discussion. I agree that humans are a tribal/social species, and that a key part of that is the power dynamic (not really true of other animals as far as I understand - some are, some aren't). It's the idea that the power dynamic and specifically a dominant/submissive or leader/follower interaction is necessarily central to this that rings false to me. I completely agree that the social structures of civilization are largely focused on those specific interactions. But individuals interact with those in a great many ways, and some of those are in direct contrast to that dom/sub paradigm. Consider all of the people (not coincidentally, many of whom are POC) who are trapped in the role of the subjugated, but whose individual nature is either dominant or merely independent. Or consider people like myself, who from society's viewpoint would fall into the "leader" role (intelligent, highly educated, middle class, does things like earning advanced degrees and starting businesses), but by natural inclination don't give a rat's ass about leading anyone, because that seems like a chore. Hence my statement that my personal experience doesn't match your assertion. When I engage in (recreational) sex, my goal is to make it a cooperative endeavor that pleasures both parties, and my actions reflect that. This requires being sensitive to the other people's responses and assessing (and addressing) their enjoyment (so they're clearly not "beta", unless they get off on that). On the other hand, it's entirely my choice and decision, so I'm clearly not "beta" either. Q.E.D.
  5. @Lucienblack88 wrote: You have a version on Satanic truth that works for you. I would say nature itself is contradictory to this as everything has hierarchy. I have very different life experiences to your beliefs even through the simple lens of some are alphas some are betas and beta fags submit to alphas. Some in the gay Satanic realm (and Christianity) do include race in this hierarchy was my point. This is a new topic continuing the above discussion of Alpha/Beta dynamics in another thread where it was tangential to the subject. You can find the full conversation here:
  6. I guess that's a downside of socialized medicine. Over here in the states, on the other hand, we just have to sell a kidney to pay for it...
  7. This is incorrect. I have got STIs as a top many times from people who were completely asymptomatic (or certainly who appeared to be - I have no way of knowing whether their ass was itching).
  8. Only time will do that. The RPR test measures antibodies to a specific type of proteins your body makes, which are released when the syphilis bacterium damages body cells and then the body mounts an immune response to its own protein. Like any type of immunity, the antibodies can remain in your blood for quite some time, and the immune system can even keep producing them (some people do, some people don't). The way medical testing handles repeat cases of syphilis is that the number after you've been treated is taken as a baseline, and an increase of fourfold from that baseline indicates reinfection. It's very much not ideal (I had to deal with this recently, and it's still not entirely clear whether I've contracted it again or it's a residual number - they changed the testing protocol on me and I literally cannot tell from the results).
  9. Three days is about the right amount of time for resistance testing. It seems quite possible to me that the clinic contacted the lab directly and requested that (though the lab could have done it on their own - some testing codes are specified as "reflex..." which requires further testing if the initial one is positive).
  10. Do the math. There aren't very many people in total on this site. Only a few of them are in your area. If you specify a particular day/time window, many people will be busy (even the most avid sex fiends have lives, too - they have to pay the rent like everyone else). Hooking up is NOT the primary purpose of the site, and never has been.
  11. I think "a part of" or "contributing to" would be more appropriate language here. If the bill had not been introduced, they would not have to vote against it. It's important to remember that the political reality of party warfare is that trading in political capital is usually necessary for anything to get passed at all, and queers are among the first people to get thrown under the bus (by either party) if somebody needs to bolster their supply of chips.
  12. Gingers are my second favorite (right after black hair/blue eyes, which really gets me). And I am a quasi-ginger (with the freckles to prove it). Used to look much more so, but my hair has darkened with age and shorter length. When it was long, it bleached out to a gorgeous reddish-gold. Enough to make me want to grow it back before it goes gray.
  13. Unusual and interesting, and very well done. I appreciate the sense of continuity.
  14. It means you are not as "straight" as you thought you were. It may help to know that "straight" and "gay" are arbitrary classifications based on something far more complex (what we get off of, which is different for every person on the planet). There's plenty of discussion of this topic here on the Forum, mostly in the General Discussion area or in the "Making the Decision to Bareback" section of the Health forum.
  15. Moderator's Note: THIS TOPIC IS NOT IN THE BACKROOM! There have been a lot of posts here recently that are HIV fetish material. These DO NOT belong in the Health forums!!! There is lots of room in the fetish forum for these posts. Please refrain from posting them here, or you WILL get an infraction.
  16. I think your logic does hold. I doubt this has been scientifically studied much at all. Gonorrhea and chlamydia are generally localized infections, so those would not likely be a concern. Syphilis is systemic, but is typically only contagious through the lesions, and during the first stage that is localized at the point of entry. Also, three weeks is a very short time, and STIs are not infectious immediately after exposure - it takes some time for the organisms to become numerous enough. How much time depends on the organism; gonorrhea is just a few days, while syphilis can easily be a month or more. In your shoes, I would not feel a need to tell a partner that they were at risk, certainly not in the low-risk situation you describe. This comment in another topic is also relevant:
  17. Your ass and belly look just lovely. Seriously. I'd definitely like a piece of that. But something unfortunate has befallen your face 😉
  18. DoxyPEP just made the Washington Post: https://www.washingtonpost.com/health/2023/07/24/doxypep-std-sti-prevention/
  19. This definitely is an issue. I ran into it personally last month. Clinic told me they had none in stock and they would have to order it, entailing a 3 week wait. Three weeks later... I showed up to the clinic and they told me it was a mix-up and the test was a false positive (because I had had it previously). Ironically, one of the things on my list for the first visit was discussing DoxyPEP.
  20. For those who like the use of the term "pussy"... https://thisvid.com/videos/verbal-college-jock-breeds-a-twink-bareback/
  21. From @CoolestDude: I'm new here (joined Friday night)s, and am having terrible problems creating and using albums and posting pics to them. I'm aware of the file size limitations and have usable photos that the site seems to accept. I create a new album and name it, etc., and then select my photos for it. Everything seems to be OK, and all the photos are showing. I then click "submit" and the site says it's uploading them. But then, the screen disappears and it says that the number of photos in my album is zero. However, if I then click on the album from my profile, while still saying zero pics are in there, it shows 2 or 3 of the photos I've uploaded and no more. Then, I try to upload more photos into it but cannot - when I go through the steps and select choose an existing album, I'm given a black screen and there's no album shown to select, even though the album is still in my profile and there's an album tab. Because I don't just want 2 or 3 of the random pics I selected to be in the album, and the description of the album on the site still says there are no photos in it, I then end up deleting the album and all the pictures in it, and try to start over. However, from that point, the system won't let me create anymore albums - it simply says that an error resulted. Each day I go through this process and once I'm effectively locked out from creating new albums or uploading moore p;hotos because of the system error message, I have to wait until the next day, and I start the p;rocess again with the same result. This is driving me crazy - what is wrong here?
  22. Incoherent and time sensitive posts really don't contribute to the Forum in any constructive way, so if they're getting in the way of actual discussion it's fine to report those, too.
  23. Please do report these if you find them problematic, especially if they're abusive to a person or group of people. It is pretty well impossible for the moderation staff to review every post made. From @rawTOP's original topic explaining the rules:
  24. He is back, just not operating at full bandwidth just yet. Understandably, his recovery and day job and life have first priority on his energy. You should message him per the instructions in the "YOU CAN NOW DELETE YOUR ACCOUNT" thread to request the reversal. Yes. The block on the account page happens automatically part way through the deletion process. The reason is explained here:
  25. That is the first step in deleting your account, as you requested. If you don't want your account deleted, you must request that the deletion be cancelled. See above in the topic this post has been merged into. Please be patient. @rawTOP is the only one who can handle these things.
