The bottoms were mostly just ordinary guys, with average body types- in fact there were very few muscular jocks, and only one or two with anything like what you woiuld call a ‘gym bod’. On the other hand, I didn’t see any very overweight guys either. Average age about 40, with a few in their 20s, and a few in their 50s like me- and even one or two older. Can’t comment on the tops- didn’t see any, but I suspect probably a similar range. It’s not a beauty pageant by any means.

It was fucking awesome! This kind of event pushes all my buttons, and it didn’t disappoint on any front. I’m hard-wired as a total bottom, so obviously went as a mare. Got there about 75 minutes before the door opened, in order to get a good spot once inside. I was 10th in the queue, one of the fortunate few in the shade, as it was a scorchingly hot day. I reckon by the time the doors opened there were about 80 mares waiting in the blistering sunshine- it’s very possible the heat put a few mares off. This was my second time, so I knew the drill: get undressed and ‘stamped’ as quickly as possible, so you can reserve your space. I was one of the dozen or so mares on the big fuck bed in the middle: prime position as far as I was concerned. The first hour or so is quite fun, just mares at this point, talking, smoking, drinking- all pretty excited about what’s to come. Then about 15/20 minutes before the stallions arrive, it’s hoods on (everyone was wearing red) and into position. Then the music changes to a heavy, thumping style, and that’s the signal that the stallions have arrived. At that point the feeling of anticipation is absolutely electrifying. As you can’t see anything at all, the only indication you get that the action has started is when you hear the first mare starting to moan. Then you start hearing others closer to you getting fucked- and naturally you get anxious that no-one is going to pick you. But that anxiety evaporates the moment you feel that first cockhead pressing against your hole… and from then on it’s pretty much non-stop action for the next 2 to 3 hours. I reckon in total I got somewhere between 50 and 70 fucks. No idea how many of those translated into loads, but a fair few. Your hands are not tied, which means you can reach round to feel how wet you are, but even that’s not a great indication, as guys fuck the come out of you as fast as they fuck it into you. I don’t know how many tops were there, but judging from the sound of the rutting going on all around me and throughout the club, there were enough! For me, the whole experience is completely mind-blowing. Being used simply as a piece of flesh for men to get off in may not be everyone’s idea of fun, but I find it deeply fulfilling on an almost spiritual level. Your whole world is reduced to your arse and a seemingly endless succession of cock, probing your inner self and dumping DNA there, somehow connecting you to the wider world in general. It’s a wonderful thing! Anyway, that’s just my take on Horsefair- it would be interesting to hear from any other guys who were there last night…

I’m planing on going to Horsefair in the 9th too. If I were you, I would choose the Lab over the Boiler: don’t worry about being rejected- I was put off by stories like that too, but I’ve been a few times and it seems pretty inclusive. It has the potential to be very busy on the 8th as it’s Folsom, so you might need to queue much longer… On the other hand, it’s running up against a big party on that night (Biohazard), which might draw away a few punters- but Berlin will be packed, so I expect it will even itself out. Why not try the Boiler Saturday daytime if you want to see it? It’s an amazing sauna, but I don’t like it personally, as it was the only place in Berlin where I encountered ‘attitude’ from the “I’m-too-beautiful-to-have-sex-with-anyone” crowd…

I don’t think it is possible to ‘buy’ Prep in either of these locations, as it is prescribed medication. And to get a prescription, you would generally have to be registered with a sexual health clinic. I travelled to Maspalomas last winter, and my luggage was stolen off the bus on arrival. Stupidly, I’d packed my Prep in my luggage rather than keeping it on me, so suddenly found myself in the position of needing to source some. It was not possible to do this through official channels, so I ended up begging some off some kind fellow travellers using Grindr… You could always buy some through an online pharmacy if you have an address they could be delivered to? I used to do this before Prep became available in the UK on the NHS…

I came to the same conclusion having stayed at the Axel in Gran Canaria- it’s a gimmick. I tried it once, and had no luck, so I wandered the hallways to see if anyone else was doing better- they weren’t. In fact, during my entire 10 day stay, I didn’t see anyone using the “Please disturb” sign at all. Possibly it’s different during Pride, etc, but in ordinary times it’s a waste of time, and not a reason to choose Axel over other hotels. Most hotels in GC (including Axel) seem to positively discourage the open/unlocked door thing, with 24-hour receptionists and keycards, etc, which generally limits your pool of men to other guests staying in the same hotel. And to be fair, there’s not much need for it when there are so many clubs and bars where you can bend over and whore yourself out all night.

Hey @120DaysofSodom, I’ll be in Berlin on 01-Sep, and am planning to go to the Lab. It’s their dance night, and I haven’t been to one of those before… I have a couple of questions: 1) I’m not into dance so much, but very much into the sex side of things at the Lab- is there still plenty of that going on during these events, or is the focus more on dance? 2) Although their website says there is no dress code, what do most guys wear? Would I be okay in a jock/harness, etc? Advice appreciated!

I fully agree with @viking8x6’s comments: I think given the scenario you have described, it is extremely unlikely that you’ve passed on anything, even if you yourself have been infected in the last three weeks. I’m kind of curious why you’re so concerned about this particular twink, rather than all the tops who have been fucking your holes since you were last tested- but I guess that’s your business 😂

The September one is being held during the Berlin Folsom weekend, so presumably it’s just bigger/busier than usual. Perhaps they open up more of the KitKat club, where it’s hosted. Anyway, I’m planning to go, so will let you know if you don’t get to go yourself!

It’s not worth travelling far for if that’s the only event you’ve got lined up- but this time round it would make a good pre-cursor to Hardon, or perhaps a late night visit to the Heath…

Ha- yes, the staff are unfriendly, but that seems to be the same all over Berlin, and not just at sex venues. And it’s not the language barrier, either: I speak German, and they are still just as rude. It seems to be universal across the service industry there- it might come as a bit of a shock to you if you are travelling from America, but just remember not to take it personally! The Bull is also one of my favourite bars, but the Laboratory should not be missed: it’s iconic. It’s some distance from the gay area, but public transport in Berlin is excellent (and cheap), and the subway runs 24 hours. Generally speaking, Berlin is a very safe city- so I wouldn’t worry too much on that score. And @subBottomKinkis absolutely right: cash is king in Berlin, and you don’t want to show up at the Lab only to be turned away because you haven’t got the required €10 entry fee in cash.

I love travelling solo when on sexcation. You can do exactly what you want when you want, and with no-one to hold you back, you can let your inner pig fly. You’ll have a great time!

It’s interesting how this event brings out some of the stereotypes of various countries in which it is held. I agree that the Germans seem to do it the best, with strict rules which are just as strictly enforced and adhered to. The British event in London has the same strict rules, but they are not well enforced and only half-heartedly adhered to… after an hour or so, the hoods are coming off, stallions are flipping and mares are mating with each other… everyone ends up having a bit of a laugh and ‘muddling through’ to the end 🤣

I think Noxon only had the horsefair event once- and I remember the guy that runs it complaining afterwards that it was a nightmare to organize… perhaps he just decided it wasn’t worthwhile doing it again.

I couldn’t agree more- it’s a real bug bear of mine. It happened last night at the Vault. I was bent over one of the beer barrels, clearly looking to be fucked, and some bottom swooped in and started felching the loads I’d already collected. The trouble is, in that kind of setting, it’s hard to know at the start whether the felcher is a top just warming up for the big event, or just a lazy bottom who has no intention of fucking you and replacing the cum he’s just eaten. By the time it becomes clear that it’s the latter, it’s too late- the damage is done and the loads are gone, effectively stolen 😡.

Ha, yes- quite a few women and straight couples staying when I was there in the winter too! And not young, either- Jan/Feb is peak season for snowbirds, and there wasn’t a lot of availability hotel-wise on the island as a whole, so more than a few pensioners found themselves booked in at Axel… they did seem a little bemused, especially at the Saturday afternoon pool party!

Trouble is, most of the hotels in GC seem to be set up to discourage this kind of cumdump action- Axel is one of the worst, because you need a key card just to get into the premises at all times of day, which really limits your audience to the other guests that happen to be staying in the hotel at the same time (and on the two occasions I’ve stayed there, they’ve been a rather unfriendly bunch tbh). Not sure if any of the other hotels such as the Don Miguel are much better from this point of view. Most seem to man their reception areas 24/7 in order to repel invaders. You might be better off staying in an Airbnb in one of the apartment buildings. I had a very hot encounter with a guy staying in the Europa apartments, and to gain entry all I needed was a keycode.

I’ve never been convinced by this. The thing is, most tops are a one shot deal- whether they’re online or in a cruise bar, they generally hook up, unload, and disappear back into real life to get on with other things. Bottoms, on the other hand, just keep on going- the more loads they get, the more they want. So they stay online, always hunting for more- or hang out in the cruise bar/sauna to the bitter end. That’s why at the end of the night it seems like there’s nothing but bottoms. And because bottoms cum less often, they’re always horny, always more willing to chat about sex on sites like this- and that feeds into the illusion that there are more bottoms than tops. I reckon there’s a pretty even split. In fact, if you take guys who self-identify as “straight”, I reckon there are actually far more tops than bottoms out there in the world as a whole.
