Does anyone here like to get trashed and fuck? I usually am a little tipsy when I get to the works. Never had any side effects otherwise in the year I've been on it thus far. Tested negative at every appointment. I usually go twice a week to the baths. Anybody here have any input on alcohol and truvada for prep?? No other drugs involved. Maybe some poppers

I have always had apprehensions about being bred when I'm not at my horniest. When I am horned up however, I'm a fucking cum whore and I've even been bred by a couple of guys. It's always after the fact that I kind of regret having unsafe sex (despite how fucking hot it was). I've had a few HIV scares but nothing that came up positive, which is great...but I want to stop this fear of being bred because I believe there are actually more bareback guys who are into my other sexual interests (I'm very much into sounding, cock rings, ball stretching, pain play, BDSM, etc.) than those who only practice safe sex. I find vanilla sex to be boring even though I don't quite show it (I'm pretty introverted). To be honest, I have been one of those younger guys who have rejected older daddy-types who have messaged me on hook-up sites like A4A when I see an HIV-positive status or no mention of status at all. I was always interested in the back of my mind but always had the fear of being infected. As much as I want to be liberated from this fear, be pozzed, and become an uninhibited cum pig (sounds really hot now that I think about it), I honestly don't think I can afford HIV treatment. PrEP is also something that may be very expensive as well to regularly take, but damned if I'm not impressed at the stories of guys taking 200+ poz loads without getting infected on it. Getting acclimated to breeding culture is something that I've always wanted to do, but I feel like it will take a couple of years (finances to support a possible HIV infection, me wanting to become tough and more masculine) for me to really connect. Also, not sure if this important, but I am Asian and have never met a poz Asian guy. I'm the only Asian I know who's turned on by breeding and swallowing raw loads, it seems. I'm actually curious about the ways anyone here has dealt with this "only want to be bred when horny" issue. There's always the minute after cumming during sex where I have an immediate regret of what occurred beforehand and I've always had the "WTF did I just cum to" when jacking off to bareback porn. My goal is to get rid of this post-cum guilt and be 100% uninhibited.

Norway is sending a bold message to the world by becoming the first country to make HIV-preventing PrEP drugs available through its National Health Service. Pre-exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) drug Truvada can reduce the risk of being infected with HIV by up to 86% if taken daily, and has been endorsed by the World Health Organisation and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention for at-risk men who have sex with men (MSM). It is already available in a number of countries including the United States, Canada, South Africa and France. Norway has this week become the second country in Europe to make PrEP available, announcing that PrEP drugs will be available free of charge to at-risk groups via its National Health Scheme. According to HIV Norway, Minister for Health and Social Care Bent Høie announced the move, making Norway the first country in the world to make the drug free for users. The decision by the minister is taken on recommendations from the Health Directorate and the Institute of Public Health. It is a result of two years of lobbying by HIV Norway – the national organisation for people living with HIV. Leif-Ove Hansen, the president of HIV Norway, said: “PrEP will contribute to reducing the rate of new infections in the gay community, as gay men are facing a risk of infection much higher than the general population. “Condom use is on the decline, and we are happy that PrEP now is an integrated part of the public health service.” The news has been met with applause from HIV charities in the UK, where NHS England has been fighting a legal battle over the responsibility to commission the drugs. Ian Green, Chief Executive of Terrence Higgins Trust, said: “Norway’s decision to provide PrEP is another great step forward for HIV prevention in Europe. PrEP is a game changer and, when used alongside condoms, regular testing and effective treatment, it can help end the HIV epidemic for good. “The announcement is a reminder that here in the UK we are still waiting for PrEP to be available on the NHS to those at risk of HIV. Every day NHS England delays access, 17 people are diagnosed – and the lifetime cost to the NHS for each diagnosis is £360,000. “NHS England must stop with their delays and confusion, and make PrEP immediately available to those at risk of HIV here at home.” Copied from Pink News.

Do I really have to wait a week (7 days) after starting PreP to bb? I'm gagging for it after being on Prep for 4 days.....I want to rush off to the sauna and get fucked bb, surely 4 days is enough to build resistance.
-
Yeh, at last all the checks and test results have come back and can now start taking PreP, looking forward to taking a few more loads and getting fucked raw, role on Hard On at the Hoist next month....

So I've ordered my PreP, 7-14 days delivery. I eventually decided to take the plunge after an encounter in a club last weekend. Was bent over sucking a couple of guys in the dark room when a couple fingers went in my arse and literally pulled my cunt into position and then got fucked bb until he dumped his load, I never even saw who it was. Anyway this seems to be happening more and more, getting fucked bb that is, so I made the decision to get on Prep. I'm hoping the drug works and side effects are nil and then I can lay back in the sling and take multiple loads knowing that I won't get HIV, jst all the other nasty stuff out there, lol.

Hey, I have recently seen that it i can buy PrEP online in the UK; Has anyone had any experience with this or is anyone in the UK taking PrEP without a prescription? Thanks, Dylan

I know it would seem unlikely by the stats but am concerned. I am experiencing symptoms that could be the "fuck" flu. I have been on PrEP for a year and a half. Have not missed a daily dose in over 6 months. To my knowledge have never gotten the regular flu. Only recent encounter, Wed July 13th had unprotected sex with 2 guys at the bathhouse, one I'm not worried about because we have played before is strictly top says he's neg on PrEP himself and have exchanged contact info etc. Other one was a black guy, I let him fuck me, I got bored after 5-10 minutes and said take a break not sure if he came but he didn't tell me. No talking, no idea of his status. 2.5 weeks later threw up late evening after afternoon brunch, I never throw-up. For the last 2 weeks been more tired, feel like I have a fever (confirmed yesterday and today 100.5 or higher) and some body aches mostly shoulder/upper back etc. Had one night a few days ago where I woke up and had a nightsweat by my head. How likely is it conversion? If it's happened would it show up on a rapid hiv test yet? Any thoughts would be appreciated. Any idea of other things it could be?

So if PrEP is available universally, say easily/for free like what they're considering in the UK, does that mean positive guys could or would eventually become outcasts? My thinking is that most neg guys will go on to PrEP, the 'safe sex' guys will more likely be open to barebacking BUT would still be insistent on BB with other neg guys on PrEP. At the moment if you want it raw then you're more than likely going to fuck with a poz guy (as majority of barebackers are poz from my experience), essentially 'beggars can't be choosers' in this day and age. But when there is a greater choice of safe neg barebackers, will poz guys be turned down even more? We already know what some neg guys reactions are to poz guys at the moment. If the majority of neg gay guys are on PrEP then they could have their cake and eat it too, virtually risk free. Why keep using a VHS tape when you can use a DVD instead? Or will guys become even more cum hungry, will take any and all loads because they know they're practically safe on PrEP? Any thoughts?

Does anyone on PrEP have experience taking hvl loads? I've been on PrEP a few months and have just wrapped my head around taking undetectable loads. I can't find anything on the net about how effective PrEP is with HVL loads. Does PrEP hold up?

So I am seriously considering starting Prep. I think it's better to start sooner then later. I am still waiting to be transferred to a prep friendly doc in NYC but was wondering how long does it usually take from the moment you first discuss it with the doctor, between all of the testing... until you are ready and relatively safer to take hot loads of cum up your hungry hole ?

Admin: Had no idea where to put this topic, please move if necessary. Thanks The latest issue of FS Magazine from the GMFA has been published. It can be read here: http://www.fsmag.org.uk/Pages/Category/fs155(scroll down for free digital viewing option - should be viewable from most devices). It talks about HIV, PrEP and prevention, but it also has the results of a sex servey of 1500 guys, and the "shocking" results of how much gay/bi are barebacking without much cause for concern for HIV and other STDs. There's some quotes from participants which I think echoes many of the sentiments from people on this site, from people who bareback by serosorting, guys who just generally bareback to the "bareback cumdump". I first became aware of this mag/article via a facebook link and the comments from people on the whole were demonising the barebackers. Who do others think from this article? Some other HIV articles in the mag may also be of interest if you have time to read through too.

Just wondering if any of you have been doing less than daily dosing, and whether you feel sufficiently protected given your level of risk. Been thinking of going down to 4 pills per week, just to reduce the level of toxicity and dampen the side effects. I still experience mostly GI issues (loose stools, occasional abdominal cramps), despite having been on PrEP for 2 months now. But more than the persistent GI issues, I also had a bit of a scare from my last urine test, which came back with microscopic amounts of blood (not visible to the naked eye). I had to get an ultrasound on my kidneys, and a rather unsettling urological exam (cystoscopy) to check my bladder. The urologist insists that everything is normal, and that I have a case of 'essential hematuria', which he says is simply unexplained small microscopic amounts of blood in urine that we cannot really fix - it's just there, and it just happens to some people without becoming a problem. My urine test before Truvada did not exhibit this problem, and PrEP is the only thing that has changed in 2 months, but the urologist and my GP both say 'don't worry'. As far as my risk, I only bottom BB with my hubby (and I top him 90% of the time), but I do occasionally top guys raw. He has only bottomed raw once since we both got on PrEP, and the guy did not breed him. Of course, time can only tell, but for now he insists that he will not bottom raw again, even whilst on PrEP (except bottoming raw for me), unless the other person is for sure on PrEP, as well. So, I tend to believe that, all in all, both our risks are relatively low. I'd like to hear your experiences with non-daily dosing, how many doses in a week (at least 4?), how risky your behaviour has been, and whether you feel you're still sufficiently protected. Thanks!

Just fucked a guy. Found out afterwards that there was HVL cum in his ass. Anybody know my risk?

If You Can't Go On Prep Do You Start Bugchasing?
Guest posted a topic in Making The Decision To Bareback
I found out about PREP years ago after getting stealthed and taking PEP. Apparently in the US and other countries, bareback is finally and almost completely safe option (yes a guy still managed to get HIV but that is a rarity). Unfortunately in some countries, including mine, PREP is not an option. Fact is that I don't believe in "safe BB" unless you manage to have a monogamous relation. Stealthers are out there pozzing guys who than inadvertetly poz other guys. And even wortst I am of the slutty types, I enjoy anon hookups in sleazy places like baths, porn cinemas and parks where condoms often are not avaible or not enough. So what more options do you have in this case? Wait for PREP ? There are not even talks for starting it here. A lot of slutty bottoms I heard simply gave up trying to use condoms and accepted to become poz since here you don't pay for HIV meds. I'm quite angered and confused about what to do, I guess I should either give up completely on my desire to BB or accept siero conversion as inevitable. Whats funny is that here if you look for BB sex 2/3 of the people you will meet are poz looking to convert you. So yeah, what to do?- 10 replies

Anyone here get Prep through clinic hopping? its becoming popular as the only way to get Prep on the UK on the NHS. It is where you go to a clinic and say you need PEP after a high risk fuck and get 1 month's supply of truvada (and another drug which you disregard as you don't really need the combination which = pep). People do it across a few different clinics to build up a few month's supply of truvada to take as prep. it means wasting the other drug but it's the only legit way of getting hold of truvada on the NHS here. if anyone does this, do they always make you come back after 1 week for a re-test for hiv before issuing the remaining 3 week's supply of truvada?

Longtime lurker here sorry for the long post. I have been on PrEP for almost 9 months. Trying to decide if Truvada could be responsible. I'm so exhausted/achy in lots of places/icky and keeps getting worse (could never have the energy for a job at this point its that bad). I don't even feel like the hassle of sex lately. Also since being on Truvada I have had unexplained weight gain of 25 lbs. (and was quite overweight before that). I also swear that on Truvada alcohol affects me much more and less pleasant. Btw, I have been on other meds for blood pressure a longtime. My old doctor had been trying figure this out but I lost her and have seen a nurse practitioner who ordered lots of tests (she's not familiar with PrEP) everything so far comes up negative. Normal metabolic panel - liver, kidney, blood counts; thyroid, Stds, B12, borderline low D treating, testosterone, EKG. All normal including my total cholesterol though odd in past been at around 200 this time came in at 128. The new nurse basically doesn't have any ideas what to try/consider, does anyone here? I have read its rare but seems there is a separate test for lactic acid which to knowledge has not been run is that worthwhile though I see weight loss with that? Would it show up in any other counts? Any ideas? Thinking about taking a break from Truvada (never missed a dose so far). Last sex was 40 days ago so should be good on risk? How long if it's the problem to know it is or is not the Truvada, a few days, a week or (out of my system and feel better without it)? If I stop how long do you think I need to get back on it before risky sex? Any ideas either related to Truvada or not would be helpful. Thanks.

Guys if i decided to go on prep for 2 month how long do i need to take truvada after my last load pls let me know thanks

I keep reading guys here saying "I wish I could get PrEP but it's not available where I live." But people all over the world are getting PrEP using generics -- which are safe, inexpensive and good quality. You can talk to PrEP users and find out more about how they've done it, by joining the Facebook group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/PrEPFacts/ (It's a closed group -- your activity does not show on your timeline and your other Facebook friends can't see it).

This new study further makes the case for PrEP. Some people were concerned that if you seroconvert while on PrEP you'll develop resistant strains while taking PrEP. This seem to have happened during partners PrEP, a straight study of PrEP users. Seems like if you simply stop PrEP after seroconverting the resistant strains will disappear and you'll get regular strains flourishing which are vulnerable to normal drugs. If I understand it correctly, this means you have to be off meds for a bit for this to happen which I'm not sure it's optimal. http://www.aidsmap.com/Drug-resistance-acquired-during-HIV-PrEP-rapidly-disappears-after-medication-is-discontinued/page/3020093/
